Wish the app would get an update. Having an option to login to upvote would be great. This app would also be way better if pre fetching were available. More customization settings too please.
Beautiful design but still buggy. Would like to be able to log in to my Reddit to use the front page
Great. Works great and easy. Thank you
Best one yet. Doesnt even need any updates
Aww, can't tell you how much I love it!
I wish there were: 1) a way to pay to remove adverts 2) up/down vote buttons 3) auto fill on adding subreddits (start typing and it gives you a list of real subreddits) 4) a stand back view. (List of titles with thumbnails so you can quickly scroll up/down to find where you left off if you need to.
But it is really well done. The good is that images and gifs load very smoothly and that it easily allows sorting between different subreddits. The not so good, you still have to go to the website to see discussion threads and comment / vote. I won't discredit a great app for these things. For me personally, this is just a great way to get a quick check in without having to visit the webpage.
Simple app to view basically a manual slideshow of reddit images. If you're just a lurker and that's all you do anyway, this could be useful. But there's no way to login, no way to view comments, upvote, etc. Could use some options for text/title display, like adding a shadow/outline/background since it's sometimes hard to read. There's no stopping gifs, also starting gifs should happen automatically or by clicking on the picture instead of by clicking the tiny "gif" circle.
Ideal for people who want to quickly view the pics/posts on reddit, sweeping action makes it very easy. Wish there was a paid ad free version. Also if the post has multiple pics then the app doesn't allow you to view them.
Great way to read redit, smooth searching, it's quick and good quality, however a few things should be adressed; often crashes and when you reopen it you start back at the first page having to go through everything twice
App reminds me of the reddit pics HD app that was discontinued. Which was a very good app. All it needs is the ability to sync your reddit account with the app (upvote/downvote/save/subreddits/etc) and the option to autoload gifs. Anyone that frequents gif oriented subreddits is probably going to steer clear of this app.
This app responds well and the UI is simple enough. Just swipe right. I want to request a feature though: allow the app to remember the last post that you viewed and start from there or from the beginning if you choose. As it is, if you back out the app/close it, starts you at beginning.
App crashes every 6 or 7 pictures. Very painful. Other than that it is good.
Need to be able to read comments within the app and need to be able to change the theme. I would love to see this with a true black theme for amoled displays. I would definitely purchase the full version / donate if these things happen.
I used to love this app, but due to recent update, I cannot open image files. If there is a post with multiple images, when I click on it they wont load. It used to be fine but its all stuffed now. Hope they fix it quick!
Can't go but 4 swipes and the damn thing crashes. Weeks now and keep hoping there will be a change.
You ll need a browser to comment on posts, but the app does not have an inbuilt feature of doing this.
Great app. Random force closures are the only problem, causing me to lose my place.
So this method of browsing reddit is great for an easy pick up and go, but you can't rate posts, or even log in at all, so managing subreddits can be quite difficult. One you get the subs you want though, is pretty great
Although there are some apps almost as good as swipe I couldn't find one I like better. Also the app is 10x better if you have the "reddit is fun" app to go with it this allows you to comment and vote on pics.
But since then has added ads, bothered me rating, lost the ability to load gifs and thinks pictures with title and description in imgur is an album.
Honestly I can only browse for 10mins before it crashes.
Extremely simplistic UI if you want a glance at what's going on, probably the best reddit app just for browsing images. Gfycat gifs don't load properly in the app, albums don't work, some rare crashes and your subreddits reset if you hit the refresh button are my only complaints, but they're easy to work around and I've been mainly using this for a few years.
