App does not work 99.9% of the time . Install or should say try to install won't even install right let alone when it does won't even let you completely sign in before it kicks you out . Needs a major over haul. Been try to use over a month and does not work luckily boss can take payments over the phone.
It's EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING when the device will not connect to our tablet!! We close out of the app over and over, and sometimes it works, many times we have to key the transaction in, which costs us more in fees! When you have a line of customers waiting to check out, this is MADDENING!! Trying to get your rep to help you is very difficult and support tries, but there is no fix or resolution. Just pay the extra fees to get your customers checked out! Unacceptable!
My terminal wouldn't connect. I tried following the directions to download upgrade as recommended. Couldn't do that either. Instructions are not clear. Or they don't work like instructions says to follow. It works good when it works.
Edit: Thank you swip simple, for the fast and easy response. Turns out it was a setting on my phone. Needless to say, they got me back up and running.
Won't open.. Not sure if it's an Android thing or not. Deleted and downloaded multiple times and it won't open. It sits stagnant on the icon page.
Good program, once you have learned it, it is great you can set up all your categories and it's so easy after that..
It would not my reader will not pair to my phone. Im having hell to pair it, it been that way every sent i got it. But i use my phone. One time it shut down on me would i was taking a order.
I have had nothing but issues, lost out on sales because it doesn't work in the moment you need it..for what you pay to up keep its definitely not worth it
Was fine. Yesterday wasn't able to view transaction history or charge clients. Logged out unable to log back in. Uninstalled/reinstalled 3x's and cleared cache, no luck. When I open the app now it gets stuck on the initial loading screen with the Swipesimple "S" and stops and won't go any further!!
horrible. 1st day no issues. Day 3 no connection and every customer service no help one even hang up on me, she could have told me she don't know how to help me & find me a number for the right person to talk to. ***I've learned on my own with lots of time, doing research and stuff that what worked for me was i downloaded a "bluetooth Pair app" that boosts our phone's Bluetooth so you do need to use your phone Bluetooth to find the swipesimple and after open the Bluetooth Pair App & SCAN PAIRđź’–
Convenient for a tow truck driver to accept cards for tow bills. Screen closes once or repeatedly while putting card info in and I have to type card number and put amount of bill in repeatedly .
App continually crashes or will not connect to my swipe simple card reader. Very frustrating
App shuts off by itself won't connect to my swiper generally a very frustrating experience to use and I've used many different brands this is by far the worst. What's even better is I called the number that you left below for help and was told we can't help you with anything you have to call your card service provider so y'all are liars on top of faulty equipment. I told the woman that I was calling the number left on Google Play for help and she said no, no one gave me that number ........
Need to fix it The app close constantly, it is hard to a single transaction. Affects customer time, and representatives professionalism PLEASE FIX IT
Shuts down randomly. Always awkward in front of customers when they swipe and it shuts down and no one knows if the card went through. Or when they want a receipt and you say ok and then it shuts down and you have to say nevermind... Causes me to have to process another way. This app is a real pain.
I was able to use the dip and the swipe, but I am unable to access these features now. I am having to use the keypad now which fees are applying now. Not pleased at this point!!! I may have to stop this service if it continues.
App crashes constantly on my Galaxy a21 makes it very difficult to provide Professional Service when you have to re-enter the customer's card three times
The app works sometimes. Most time we have to use the key entry feature rather than being able to swipe a card. This is not a simple swipe app.
Best credit card app, very easy to use with no issues and I have used this for over 2 years
Cannot successfully follow instructions to update. It's downloaded, but only go straight to "card swipe" screen with $$ to be entered. This is 1/3/22
I wish I could give it 0 stars. The app is riddled with issues such as the printer and card reader constantly disconnecting. Often times when trying to process a cash transaction the cash drawer won't open and print. When trying to print a receipt, the app will give an error message that says invalid state or printer communication error. The only way to fix this is to uninstall and re-install the app. When that is done the app changes your sales tax rate to zero for some unknown reason.
Impossible to use with your phone. Cuts off before even starting a transaction.
The bluetooth constantly disconnects, especially in the middle of a transaction.
Has potential, but VERY featureless. I can't belive major card processors rely in this app and company for vendors to be able to process payment "on the go". Biggest issue for me is no split payment option...I get customers all the time that want to pay part credit, part cash, and this app does not do it. Also, reader must be reconnected EVERY transaction, even when you just did a transaction 30 seconds before....VERY frustrating..looking for another card merchant provider solely based on this.
This USED to be a good app. No longer; the recent version makes you stop in the middle of EVERY transaction to have to select a hard wired card reader. What's worse, the Swift B200 Bluetooth reader simply will not work with this app. It never gives an option to read a chip, only swipe it. My card provider has sent me two different known good readers, and neither will read a chip on an Android, an iPhone or an Android tablet. If you can use something else, do so. This is is garbage.
Having trouble with the new wireless device. Needs to have the option of hardwire, a plug in. Wake the hell up!!
Having a little trouble with the card swipe but am able to key in entry easy enough.
Would rank this app higher, but it will not pair with the card reader. So they are able to charge us a higher per transaction cost. Read their response. Have worked with our rep. Still won't pair unless I reload the app EVERY DAY! Just reloaded the app AGAIN. 3-15-22 IT NEVER PAIRS WITH THE READER. The suggestion from swipe simple? Update EVERY app on my phone! I use very few of the apps that came with my phone and am not willing to fill my phone storage with worthless updated apps.
