Switchboard ELD + AOBRD - FREE

Yrs, Finally the update is there and I update the app and now the app doesn't work. I go to start the day with on duty pre trip, Enter in the information, And nothing happens. Switch over to view logs, It shows that it went on duty not driving, Switch back over to the driver page and it says that I'm off duty. Manually switch to driving mode and it has for all the pretrip information again. Enter into driving mode and start driving and it's just freezes there. How do I uninstall the update?

App works Great for me , been using it for a year now , company does a good job evolving and staying on top of mandated changes with udates ,basic Services free with Hardware purchase but looking at their subscription Services they run deep, minor glitches here and there but that's to be expected, I've used three different eld's they all have user issues I've had to work around, good edit function proper and flexible, I use the free variation and it certainly adequate for me.

Since March of 2021, Switchboard has replaced my tablet 3 times due to tablets malfunctioning. I'm on my 4th tablet and it's a different brand, so hopefully it keeps working. After the 3rd tablet, I downloaded the app on my phone. I have a S21 ultra. My phone did an automated update a few weeks ago and deleted the app and I can not download app again. Got a new phone, and as soon as the update happens, I cannot download the app. I guess the app and the new updates are not compatible.

I am an owner operatore. I would like to share my experience with Switchboard e-Log. This ELD is one the best e-Logs that I have ever worked with. It's great, user friendly, fast, and easy to operate. The technical support team members and customer service are very helpfull and profetional on their job. They are responsive 24/7 and solve any tablet and internet connection problems on the way remotly. I am very happy of their suppot and services.

Pretty certain they're working to remove people that only purchase the eld device. The program is progressively getting worse and harder to operate. Now I can only use my phone to run the app, it instantly crashes on every other device. Eld has become unreliable maintaining connection with app. I've informed the customer service and technical support of these problems with absolutely no relief. It would've been better had they simply let me keep the original app when I made the purchase,itworked

I was the 29th purchaser of this program and to be honest I have had my issues but as this company keeps evolving I do see significant improvements as they have brought on good techs and reps. I was always able to speak to someone whenever I had problems.Just remember to always carry a paper logbook in case you do have an issue and let Switchboard know as soon as you can get a hold of them. I also know that you must stay up on the updates or problems may develop Good ELD and good representation.

This is the good thing: So this program's works great, all functions work, not bad interface, i can't see IFTA in my applications, might be an extra.. Bad things: Driver one has Break Request (30)min, but if there is a driver two, the option for driver two is missing on the same device, but that is not too bad. Just wanna tell you that this device show on the screen everything good but when you send e-mail to DOT inspector you will be surprised with Undefined driver, which will be in the same e-mail with your log books and we are a team driver and we got Out of Service for 10H. This problem is not from yesterday. Just type " Top 5 Devices Without a Contract" in google and you will see description stating clearly “Clunky carrier log edits” and “Unidentified Driving tools require improvement”. To conclude we got pulled over and we try to explain to the officer that the log book in the email is not signed by us or has our names on it, but officer told us that this is not his problem. So this device have FMCSA Registration, is approved to make tickets probably. 4/28/19 Update: Problems that have with this application is fixed and everything work right now. .... I'm happy . ))))))

Here's my update, it still doesn't work, it is exactly the same white page green stripe, no way to select edit time, not sure why we can't just put it back to how it was before, seems like as soon as everything starts working, you send an update and screw something up

I've tried this on 3 devices! It doesn't work, I can't edit time, it use to be great! Now I wish there was another app that used the device plugged into my truck. So irritated 😠 will probably quit screwing with it and buy something else!

Thank you Switchboard for simplifying HOS logs. logbook is very easy to use and easily understood. Alerts me about 30min break, Scale pass. Alerts me on drive time. Sending E-logs is very easy. Thank you Switchboard.

Great ELD been using it for years but one problem it keep asking me to update but it doesn't so maybe they'll get that together soon otherwise I'm happy

App does not get installed after downloading it and this has happened since I installed my latest software update for Samsung Android I sent switchboard all of the info about this issue and also my latest software version they said it was going to be handle by developing team but still dsnt work very frustrating

Probably the worst eld I have ever used. On occasion it likes to not switch over to drive. I wouldn't mind the extra drive time, but I'd rather not pay the man any more than he is due. This log can go a couple of days without recording any information on your truck. You could be in California with the last ping in Missouri. Don't count on its miles for ifta. Save yourself some money and write it down old school. Other than that, it's easy to use.

Led doesn't connect BY AN ENGINE

I had a lot of issues with the app at first when I installed it back in Dec 2017 but I stuck with it and now they continually roll out updates which has improved the app big time

30-Minute Break Requirement Requires break of at least 30 consecutive minutes after 8 cumulative hours of driving time (instead of on-duty time) and allows an on-duty/not driving period to qualify as the required break The latest app still include on duty to the first 8 hr... it is not right

I just updated it and now I can't get on it to use my logs it just says that all permission has to be done what in the world is wrong never has any problems before . All permission are required whose permission it's my logs

it updated on the weekend and crashed on Monday afternoon. call tech support and they are trying to get up and running, as of today Wednesday, still not working.

The app is very easy to use and support team is very helpful. The support team is available 24/7, their response is quick and most of the time they resolve any issue ASAP.

In starting off 2018 was good running perfectly switch to driving after 40km but after one update switch board drop that speed to 10 km that's a worse thing

works great!.......updates messed up sleeper berth..did 8 hours and did. Not get remaining drive time back. Sometimes you don't know if you need to do 8 or. 10 8 hours should count as 8 hours wether you pick splitting sleeper time or not !

I like switchboard it's very efficient but my only problem is the fact that I can't use it on iOS so I was hoping maybe you are developing an iOS version soon

Bad investment, this ELD is a scam, they don't do anything to fix my problem, they ripped me off, the system cost over 450.00, the tablet is a joke, it does not work, I am using my phone and it does not record mileage, if anyone is thinking on buying this, DO NOT BUY IT, save your money.

Dear switchboard change it back last update sucks. Not able to edit logs properly. Not able to set to 24 hour therefore keeps you on duty for 1 minute before midnight. And then f**** you for the next day. Fix it

App Developers running a scam forcing people to purchase eld equipment from them. Same Android tablets cost $50. Switchboard charges $200. They then programmed the servers to only recognize they're equipment. SCAMMERS! THATS A FORCED MONOPOLY!!! THAT'S WHY THE APP KEEPS CRASHING SAYING " MUST ACCEPT ALL PERMISSIONS"
