Swvl - Bus Booking App

It's really wonderful application, however as per my understanding, a successful brand always has an easy to pronounce brand name. If everyone is pronouncing it differently don't you you think its not good thing from marketing view point. And for customer's ease as well.. Otherwise the application is fantastic.

The app is full of bugs.. You can't make the slightest change without a hassle. I used to use it to travel more then commuting in the city and now you canceled the travelling packages for some reason I don't know so I don't think I'll use it in the near future

They do not know when a package will be available for you because the system does it randomly. What kind of a stupid explanation that is! Update: it's been a week now and still problem not solved and I am DISAPPOINTED. Update: another 10 days, overall about a month now and still they have no idea when the packages are gonna be available!

Update: So I contacted them using the link they gave me in reply to this review. And they were even worse than their regular support. It's like they want us to hate them. --- While I like the rides and fares, I wish they didn't block Pakistani debit cards for payments and wallet topups. I don't like to use cash for payments

Never use swvl between cities otherwise you will highly regret it. Had the worst experience with swvl. The booked my trip but on the day of departure there was no bus at the pickup point. When approached the customer service they said to me that swvl has some issues with the bus driver and therefore you should cancel the ride from your side. Checked other reviews and found that other people also had the same experience with swvl.

It's impossible for anyone to see the progress of their ride. They have disabled the cancellation option. You can't do anything on the app except book a ride. They should include more navigation features like active booking and reschedules.

Can't login to my account using Facebook, I need your support... It's my first time using swvl and it's not the best experience. The driver is stopping at every stage looking for passengers. The ride is uncomfortable since it's a long journey why be given a 13 seater vehicle. Its like we are on a town service matatu. They don't keep time as well.

Worst ever experience. I had an urgent meeting and I booked a seat, but next day the cancelled the trip and I have no options whatsoever. They are the reason that I missed my meeting, this is very unprofessional behavior, they have lost my trust and I want to warn everyone to avoid booking any of your meetings using this app, this app is not reliable at all and is just one of many scammers present in this market. Would have rated 0 stars if I could do so.

good service. but they have very bugs in app and have to improve many things. my suggestion are here and kindly please adopt it for better experience. 1. In app "from and to" options put your own service cities only. After selecting desired city "from or to" put your pick up and dropp off stations lists so that customer can selects station by own rather than app itself which is big trouble. 2. Ask and Council your captains for Cooperation with customers. Thanks for hearing me here.

Terrible service. No customer service to contact with even if you had serious problems during your trip. Recently most of the rides come with other vehicles and different plate number. Drivers are extremely rude and no number is available to contact with the customer service if needed. If you tried to chat with them, they mostly won't reply.

I am unable to book a ride let alone see any trips. Every time I scroll throught the page, the list of trips keep on disappearing, it keeeps on going blank. App was working fine before but now it goes blank every time I wanna search through to the desired trips. Please fix this issue its causing significant inconveniance.

Best Service in Pakistan till now.... Thanks Swvl Now Updating my review on 27-5-22 They are getting expensive day by day. They see that people are now using their service to commute between the cities. And one more thing They cancelled the ride before 30mnt to go last 2-3 times. I am not recommending Swvl.

It's pathetic, without prior notification they cancel the rides on the last minute without any warnings. With Swvl you will always have trust issues and you always should have a second plan !! I would never rely on them for important commutes !!

Excellent App the user interface is so easy and detailed that anyone can use it without any problem i have been its daily user since last 3 months and it has made my travel very easy.Swvl is providing just an amazing service the buses and vans are neat and clean air conditioned and comfortable the drivers are aslo very punctual plus if you have any query or problem the customer support services are available just a click away. Highly recommended 10/10. 👍🏻

Pathetic 3rd class service. Never rely in their service, booked an inter city ride, and they cancelled right 2 mins before the ride starts, when asked said, there was some issue with the transport. Much Better to use other Bus service, atleast they don't cancel your ride at the spot, and refused to compensate it as well. Literally Khuwaari service, it is.

Evey other day it get cancelled or time shifted. The customer is left standing in scorching heat, on the road, even after booking a SUPPOSEDLY air conditioned ride which is atleast 4 times expansive than a local one... every other day, I just think why am I paying this inconsistent service my hard earned money? I should book a car or van service, a lot more certain than this....

They keep cancelling high demand routes without prior notice. Even after multiple requests to reinstate said routes, there is no response. It is a mission to explain our issues via chat to the representative. Majority of the time they don't understand anything. Their service has deteriorated since start and their Ramadan response has been abhorrent. They also only notify about a delayed ride once it's too late and you're already at the station. Overall a very bad service which had potential.

The quality has greatly decreased. I tried it for the first time but the bus was very worn out . It was clean but old style and very suffocating inside. Pls bring new vans to the service and enhance the transportation quality. I am unwilling to travel again with them. The vans in the ads are not the same in reality or not all of them. Pls maintain quality standards of all the vans equally. Utterly and constantly disappointed in pakistani transportation service.

Don't ever try to book tickets through this app. It's totally scam. Even the services i.e Nosheen coach, Faisal movers etc for which this so called app works, consider it a scam. I had a very bad experience during my travel from city to city yesterday. I repeat! don't go for booking tickets through this app otherwise u will regret.

l had really bad experience they literally change the reaching point, when I book swal it was showing the place where I want to go but they change it 5 minutes before I reach my destination. I am really disappointed .

Have been using swvl for long rides between Cairo and Alexandria. Almost every trip had an issue. Always there's unprofessional unpolite drivers. The deal breaker for me was a trip using the private bus service. By far it was the worst. The car was the worst. The driver was horrible unprofessional unpolite driving recklessly and refusing to stop the music or even turn on the ac. The customer service did nothing. Horrible experience.

Pathetic service never use swwl ever for intracity transport I have the worst experience. On their station 2 buses in a row didn't come no one even bother to answer my query. And they are texting me that bus is arrivied. No one on the app bother to answer even. Ruin my journey most most pathetic and worst experience. And now they are going to charge full amount of ticket as a cancellation fee. Don't use it

The experience wasn't great as: 1. They don't provide any support email. Though they have live chat system but for the last 15 days the chat had stuck with my messages of start. 2. The last ride that I booked shifted earlier & captain reached station before the changed time. Then captain left me & charged me for my ride that I booked & didn't used it. Then I gave them the feedback & the next morning, I got the call for the confirmation of the incident. But I am charged with negative balances.
