Most people probably know this game was originally on PC years and years ago. The production values reflect that. Great graphics and an interesting story! The port has some limitations, but I think they did a pretty good job. I found the game didn't always save progress when exiting, and it crashed sometimes when switching apps. But I got through it. There were also occasional "glitch" or static sounds. I would have liked to see gameplay that was less linear. But this was a lot of fun!
Nostalgia! I played the original PC demo, (when game demos were given free and there was no micro currency 🙄)... but I never completed Syberia Part 1. (I played Part 2, or maybe it was 3?). It's a classic for superb graphics and absorbing, do-able puzzles, although the controls are a tad clunky and slow. The cameras switch direction sometimes which is confusing at first, so you end up going backwards and forwards a lot, or missing completing the sequence. Shame I can only find part 1.
Superb adventure game. Was it a little slow, buggy? Perhaps, but I didnt notice i was so immersed in the story and visual details. I would love to play Syberia 2 & 3 on android. The story line was delightful and look forward to its continuation. Thank you to the developers.
This is a very challenging game, not for lazy thinkers who want instant success. Awesome graphics, occasional glitches, but very rewarding when you achieve a goal.
Great game, really flawed port. Could not rotate the screen - it was like trying to play a really squished image and much of the picture was cut off. Shame. I was looking forward to a mobile play through - oh well, at least I have other means of playing it. Just buy on another platform - odds are really high this will not be updated.
Buggy and Meandering. The most buggy game I have ever encountered. The game itself is strange. I love the graphics and the slightly creepy automaton theme. But the gameplay is really odd, the puzzles are illogical and the storyline just meanders all over the place (there's a really tedious opera singer / phantom of the opera arc that makes literally zero sense). I suffer from insomnia and found the dullness helped put me to sleep, which was a positive.
Absolutely LOVED this game! I loved it so much, I ran right over to the Play Store and bought the sequel the very moment I finished it. Now I'm "ssttuucckk"...or, more precisely, Kate is. I got nearly to the end of Syberia Two and hit the mother of all glitches. I've started the game all over again to see if I can work around the glitch (this didn't work.) I've tried to leave a review here, but Syberia Two no longer exists on Google Play. (I guess I'm not getting my money back. LOL) I've contacted the company twice. No one gets back to me. I would love to see Syberia Three, but feeling a little bummed since I've experienced one and two. Buyer beware.
Very good port. Only thing that bugs me is that whenever I switch between apps and Syberia, while playing, Syberia crashes. Good thing is that game saves all the time so nothing is lost but it's a bug that needs to be fixed. Im on Galaxy S8.
The game is not working as it should have . It takes multiple attempts to hit magnifying glass icon. If you are lucky you get it otherwise the exit arrow is hit and whole thing is repeated again. Worst buy from Google store till date.
this used to be great I had it and played it a number of times. Because it took up a lot of space I uninstalled it. I recently reinstalled because I wanted to go through it again. I now just get the message "unfortunately Syberia has stopped" and nothing happens. So fed up. Can I get my money back since I have paid for something that doesn't work on a platform where it used to work? Not good!
On 7 january 2018 I bought a Syberia 2, paid 4.99 euro, never had the time to play it. Now it's not on playstore anymore. In its place, now, the first Syberia shows up as paid (which I never bought and I do not need). On 21 September 2020 I asked the developer (Microids), the reason, and they answered on 26 September, with the following sentence: "Since August 1, 2019, apps published on Google Play have to support 64-bit architectures. Apps that do not support 64-bit were removed from the store. At this point, we are checking, if the app can be updated to meet the 64-bit requirements. If this is the case, we will inform our community." Then I asked for refund and they never replied again. I think the developer's behaviour is very unfair and I am still waiting for a refund.
Game keep crashing every few seconds, whenever I want to make some move. The way the objects are indicated is to obvious and ruining game experiences. I used to loved a PC version.
Kind of boring to play. Touch screen controls are a bit wonky but using a gamepad really helps. Good thing it fully supports bluetooth controllers.
Continually crashing on me while I am in the middle of a conversation scene, choosing a magnifying glass, or anything that requires interaction with the gameplay.
This is the standard with which I compare all mobile point and click adventure games. The only one that's ever come close to this imo is Yesterday. All the others range from terrible to okay & all of them are WAY too short. I'm just waiting for the day another truly great adventure game comes to mobile.
Amazing! Loved replaying this game from my childhood! Be patient with the conversations. The game only crashed when I tried to skip through those. Other than that it was just like I remembered
Excellent game, but the mobile port is highly unreliable. Constant stuttering, audio and graphical lags and glitches, and random crashing are the main issues.
Really enjoyed the game. 4 stars instead of 5 because I had to restart numerous times because of freeze ups and glitching.
Crucial piece needed to move on with the game is missing. Done everything still can't get it. Bug. Needs to be fixed or I want a refund, game is useless at this point.
Constant freezes and crashes every few minutes on Note9 with Android Pie makes the game unplayable. Too bad, I love this game.
This is just the first part. I have played this game on PC, but there was a part 2 and a part 3 was going to come but didn't release. Now if you say this is the "full" version, shouldn't it contain all the parts? Why does this have only the first part? Why isn't the second part available in the Play Store? I feel so sad right now. 😕
Enjoyable, though from what I see on you tube, loses a little in the redesign(?) from console level to mobile. Still so good I recommend it.
Still to this day it remains one of the best gaming experiences i ever had, it stood the test of time so ive just purchased it today, when i first played it i was a lot younger and i was totally immersed in it, i always said Mr Spielberg should have copied it to the big screen.❤
Game is good story is adventures and but give some hint because game is very puzzled man think but didnt get idea at what should we put that requires to put to operate that features but the is good and storytelling is also best and give us siberia 3 in android version soon i have galaxy s8 mobile thanks
I played this game on pc a long while back. I enjoyed it so much I purchased this game and downloaded it. I was saddened to find that the game had trouble accurately registering where I tapped. It made the game less enjoyable.
The game crashes often and you have to exit and re-enter to resume the game is another problem I encountered is that it does not rotate the screen
unable to play. i have played this game before, and wanted to play again. so i purchased it, installed it, and then couldnt play it......thank goodness i got a refund.
well I can't seem to get landscape working it did the first time, but when I load the game now it's a partial screen and I have to close the screen and reopen it and it stays In portrait mode. I also have auto rotation on.I don't mind playing in portrait mode its just annoying having to go to home screen then open the game window. Other then that this have been one of my favorite adventure games that I played on PC.
