Absolute Garbage. Half of the app doesn't work. The biggest thing is that "Find care and cost" always just pops up "an error has occurred", and when I reached out to customer support about it their answer was to completely uninstall and reinstall the app. I tried it. Still doesn't work. One more example of health insurance making it as difficult and frustrating as possible to use their services.

Latest update seems to have resolved some bugs, but not all. I tried to have a virtual appointment. There were 0 people in front of me when I tried to start the appointment. For an hour, it said I was next in line but nothing ever happened. After waiting so long, I needed to use my phone to check something else. When I tried to come back to the appointment screen, I got an error message. Now the app won't even open even since I force closed it to try to log back in. Still pretty unacceptable.

The most recent update on May 1, 2022 has made it so Android Users can't access the app. It wants you to agree to the new terms and conditions, but the "agree" button only appears if you have an I-phone. This app has been nothing but a series of problems since I downloaded it. I tried to hang in there because my workplace gives additional benefits if it's used, but at this point the irritation just isn't worth it. DELETED.

It has most of the things I would expect in such an app, however, the most critical piece - finding and scheduling a provider visit - does not work. If there is something happening after opening that feature, it takes a very long time with no visual indicator that anything is happening.

I really love this app. It has everything you need and it is so easy to navigate. I always have issues with the assessment though. It keeps telling me I haven't completed it and I have. Also, every time I take it the safety section never calculates the info based on my selections. It tells me I'm at risk which doesn't relate to my responses. That has been an issue for the last 2 years. Frustrating that hasn't been fixed yet.

Worst ap! I gave 1 star because i had to.... Takes multiple attempts to log in. When I can log in it is extremely difficult to find what you need. I have tried setting up auto pay 3 months in a row and it never works. Called customer service and they couldn't fix it either. Insurance is wonderful. This ap.... absolutely HORRIBLE!

No place to change to text answer. Can't get email from you when your email is open. Every time you send e-mail. Garbage in - garbage out. The most undermaintained app I use. Please text all security questions.

I find it very convenient to have one online hub for all of my healthcare claims, costs, and explanation benefits. The only thing I would add is that it would be nice for me to be able to submit payment for various expenses through the app, but I understand that that's ultimately up to each hospital system to allow. The app is easy to navigate and use, and support is readily accessible. honestly, I've had better luck receiving assistance through the app than by calling Anthem directly.

Horrible horrible app. It keeps on crashing and causing issues before my virtual visits. When trying to join virtual visits it won't let me. It won't even let me know what error is causing it. If someone is running late at least let the patients know or make them sit in a virtual waiting room. This is horrible.

App works most of the time. After last update, I have to keep verifying that I'm me either by text, call or email (though it's listed as a one time thing, and I've checked the remember me button) or by answering the security questions. Gets frustrating and old quickly.

It's very hard to get ahold of them, they are open m-f 8am-8pm. They won't answer questions that i need answered. The app won't work on my new or my old phones. When i try to log in they always want to send me text messages even though i don't want them too amd i already signed in. It's really bad when people can't get ahold of a insurance company. No customer service!

Junk, new user and it worked one day. Now it just says oops something went wrong. Can log into my account on the computer just fine. I force stopped, cleared cash and memory, same issue. Uninstalled and reinstall and same thing. Really wish things would actually work, not a good first impression!

Can't even open the app half the time. It constantly has an error message about it being down. For a company that wants to do everything by applications, you would think you would have tech support that could fix the horrible setup you have.

This app freezes while scrolling, clicks on stuff you didn't click on, and every time you make a phone call it logs you out so you have to log back in and start all over trying to find a care provider. This app is so frustrating to use

Takes entirely too long to connect to a provider. Even when there is no wait, expect 30-40 mins of waiting. Also, you can't navigate away from the screen or you will have to start the process all over again. If your insurance allows it, try a different online provider.

Always giving me errors or forcing me to do two factor verification even though I ask it to remember the device. Then it won't send me the code because it's experiencing errors. I tried reinstalling and now it's telling me something isn't working. Well no 💩 it isn't. This app is literally bad for my health because it makes me so annoyed and angry for not working.

I can never log into the app. I keep receiving a notification that the account is not found or locked and to use the forgot password. When I use forgot password it says account not found and to register. When I try to register, I receive a message that an account has already been created. So the cycle starts all over again.

I would give this a 5 star rating as I use it regularly and appreciate being able to have all this info at my fingertips. HOWEVER! Just because we have an older ohone, Android Samsung 8+ which is still working just fine, with no reason to rush out to spend another ridiculous amount of money on a new one, you no longer support this platform. Gee, I can pay my medical bills or buy a new phone just to get an updated platform...which would you do? Please reconsider supporting the 8 platform as well.

Worst App. You can't find the care you are looking for. You are forced to call the customer service for you to find out. For ex: try finding pediatric orthopedic, you are getting pediatricians and that too 40-80 miles away. Then I try to filter by distance, it just resets the search criteria & gets me acupuncturist. This is so annoying. You charge thousands of dollars, & this is the kind of service you get. UHC & CIGNA apps are so so so better. I miss them from my previous employer.

I downloaded this app and it wont even let me log in. Just keeps locking me out. I've contacted the IT dept so maybe they can do something, if so I'll come back and update. I have come back for an update. The team here has responded to my problem and has helped me figure things out. So if you have any problems let the Sydney support team help you through it. Thank you. I am changing my stars from two to five.

This app is dang near useless. I've had four virtual care appointments cancelled on me and/or been labeled a no-show because the app wouldn't let me join. Everything moves at a snail's pace, and the "virtual assistant" or whatever it's called is pointless.

The app has a lot of great features and helpful information. The fingerprint scanner goes out occasionally but it's been working better lately and that makes signing in much more convenient.

Uses the same password as my insurance so was ready to use. The app itself is straightforward and easy to navigate. But the app is very sluggish, when scrolling it will have a tendency to tap on something even when gently scrolling. App has a tendency to freeze for several seconds while scrolling. When finding a provider and using current location, the circle will just spin and spin and spin and you have to go back and start over. Please fix your app since it does have potential.

1/8/22 Just installed. This is worse than 1990 dial up. Extremely slow. I could get more information, quicker, with a phone book. Developer response: If you noticed any areas that particularly were slow for you we would like to investigate this further. Thank you. ~ Sydney ~ 1/17/22 my original review has disappeared so I attached it. The entire app, from opening to every page you click on,, to closing is excessively slow. Slower than dial up slow.

This app is poorly designed. Had a lot of trouble setting up a password even though the password I chose met the criteria. Accepted a random password. Wouldn't take my answers to my secret questions unless I added special characters or numbers to it. How am I supposed to remember any of this? Finally logged on and trying to find if my PCP is an in network provider was useless. Sixty plus results, but will only show me ten results. Trying to scroll further down but it won't load any more. Junk!

Don't expect too much out of it. Access to insurance info is convenient, but the provider search is pretty useless. The information I get from a search doesn't match up when I go to schedule an appointment on the provider's website. So I'm not really sure which one is wrong tbh. Agree with other reviews about clunky UX too. I can't seem to tap any buttons successfully on the first attempt.

Update: After 2 days, problem solved. Overall, the electric makes life easier. Old: Android 12, Samsung s21 ultra. This app doesn't work at all for the latest update. The "sign in" button is always greyed out.

Since the update, I have not been able to access my rewards. Sorry, something went wrong, is what I get. It's been a few days since my last review above ^^^ I check everyday, and everyday I try to review things on the app. It's very aggravating when things worked a week ago, and now does not. Please fix this ASAP!!

Absolute Garbage - half the time it won't let me log in despite the fact that I screen capped the page where it shows me what I reset it to, and the fact that the log in worked literally 5 minutes ago. And then, once I get in, I can't get my ID card, I can't find providers, and generally, nothing works. They, Anthem, push this app heavily. They act as if this is the best way to access everything, but it turns out, you can't get anywhere. It's pathetic.

Tried virtual visit. No cost estimate and no reason given just "unable to get this information". After guessing and enabling location, I got cost estimates. I tried to go to the virtual visit, and got an error "something went wrong". I could not find any link for IT support, the little chat feature didn't recognize keywords like app and IT. So just a bunch of non- informative errors and nowhere to go for help. But it was easy to find the virtual visit button. So I'm giving a star for that.
