Downloaded the app on my Google TV. Logged in with the same provider login I use on my phone app, but it didn't sync across devices the way it should. Now there's no way to log out or disconnect the app from the TV so I can try again to get them to sync. I've tried uninstalling and clearing all data but nothing worked. Kind of hard to pick up a show where you left off without working sync. Also seems in bad form to have an app that is impossible to sign out of.

Way too many long commercial breaks. I can watch the shows I pay to see on cable, but they insert too many commercial breaks, more than what they put in during the broadcast. Also, if you go back to rewatch a part you have to cycle through all the same commercials.

Poor performance in app. Only app that constantly buffers. Unusable on my phone. Buffers every 15-20 seconds when all other streaming apps work fine

Keeps giving me Oops, sorry we are experiencing a problem. This is even after I downloaded the update. Won't play shows. That would be a great bug fix

I used to like this app. Now...it never loads a video. As soon as I try to load a video, I get three dots that just spin and spin. I've done -everything- recommended at the Syfy site including a few things that help in my experience. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app, I've cleared the app cache. I unliked my cable provider, closed the app, relinked my cable provider, tried it with no cable provider...and much more. And nada. COME ON, Syfy... This isn't rocket science. Please fix this.

I have liked syfy for many years but i will be extremly upset if the series Resident Alien doesnt get renewed for more seasons . As it is a great show and should be on for many years to come . I will totally cancel SyFy if they are not smart enough to keep one of the best shows that has come out since Stargate .

Pretty good channel but can be better still. I like my Sci fi movies that are like what could actually happen but be real about it. I also like the futuristic movies that are high tech too.

Poor The app just sits in loading instead of playing on my android. On my mums IPad, it started playing but won't cast to my TV, even on the same wifi down to the Gh. So can't watch it. I have Uninstalled it, and it took several tries to do so bc it just wouldn't download. Once it finally did, same problem. Just stuck with the 3 dancing dots. There's also no way to get a membership without using xfinity or something and having to pay way more than I want bc I don't need cable.

Doesn't work any longer. Can browse through show, but when I click on one it never connects. Just spinning. Same with all the NBC affiliated channels. Sorry because I was enjoying a series as well as some movies.

The experience on this app is terrible, it buffers constantly it never makes it through an entire program without buffering and eventually timing out. If I had to pay for this app I'd ask for my money back.

The app just doesn't work. When I try to watch a show it just continually buffers and the show never starts. There's not even an error message, just endless blinking dots of buffering.

I have used apps like this and what truly helps me choose in purchasing is there various amounts of free movies and shows etc. Unlike SYFY and that's a darn shame cause I am a Sci-fi fan

It's fine except for one thing. The annoying, and completely unnecessary, "pause" that happens when you add or remove something from your favorites. Just add it or remove it; it's not something that requires a production.

Eternal buffer. I have tried to watch any show on seven different devices on cellular and wifi in for different US cities. After hours of trying, I haven't seen a single scene. This channel only makes money if people watch their show right? The comments show the vast majority of users are sharing my experience. Not having a functioning streaming service is basically a choice by this point.

SYFY doesn't care. Many shows are having 'glitches'. In show Surface, E1, S1, the volume cut out 3/4 of the way thru and restarting the computer, changing devices, exiting and restarting the app, nor checking for app updates did nothing to correct the volume issued. A week later, problems with show still there. Other videos have 'jumps' or 'skip' in play. Very little is available without a 'key', and they offer no subscription service, you must go thru a TV provider. I'm uninstalling!

I'm getting SO tired of Harry Potter. You guys show the WHOLE FRIKING SERIES almost every FRIKING weekend. Stop playing it over and over and over and over and over and over again!!! You're turning my favorite channel into a channel that I WON'T watch anymore. SO, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE schedule ANYTHING else but Harry Potter! Don't get me wrong. I like the Potter series but NOT 10-30 times a month. This has been going on for WAY TO LONG!

1. Doesn't work on Google devices, anytime you click on an item once opened it immediately closes the entire app. 2. The options upon closure are to close or send feedback, however the feedback selection doesn't work. 3. The list of cable providers which you must select from to use the app are randomly listed and there are hundreds of them so it takes forever to set up. 4. The watchlist feature does not work on app as in the app directions. (Was able to install on Amazon devices) 5. Once you have selected a movie there are a bunch of commercials which you can not fast forward through. 6. If you close the movie part way through it doesn't save it but rather you must start it from the beginning and while you can fast forward through the movie, you have to watch all the commercials again. 7. Fast forward and reverse if used frequently results in the movie stopping and you have to go through commercials again when you reopen in attempt to get back. 8. Review on this also just disappeared the first time I wrote it and I had to rewrite it from the start! This is without question the worst cable provider app I have ever used

If you use Chromecast, there's an NBC "Ready to Cast" banner along the bottom that won't go away. It's really distracting and makes it impossible to read subtitles. Every time I reopen the video window (say, to rewind), the video crashes altogether. When I try to reopen it, I end up at a random point in the episode. Theoretically, the option to watch without a TV subscription is great. But you only get 3 "credits," with no way to buy more. I have 7 or 8 streaming apps, this one is the worst.

Awful app, I only use it because it's the quickest way to watch new episodes from the shows I like. Has way too many ads (around 15 ads each 45 minute episode), crashes all of the time and says the show is unavailable (which results in me watching even more ads), and doesn't have that great of an interface. The app would be much better if there were less ads and it was more stable.

It's great when it works. But, the fact that it doesn't remember my TV Provider, even between episodes, is obnoxious. It remembers who I am, what I've watched, but, having to log in to that every 40 minutes is a problem. You'd think that they could fix that, but, nope. Not to mention that it sometimes crashes (more than twice as much as almost all my other apps combined). It's really annoying.

Any 5 star ratings have to be made from scam accounts. I am just going to cover the biggest issue. And that issue is, buffering. With a big B. Granted, while the show is playing I have not had an issue with it. But once the ads start, it takes at the very least 4 minutes to clear one ad. There are 5 ads at each break. I know it's not my service. I stream 4k with no issues at all. It also does not matter what platform either. Be it firestick, my phone, or my pc.

It won't cast the visual to Chromecast, only audio. Have to attempt multiple times to try and get it to cast. Can only do mirror image from phone. but if you do that then you can't do anything else while you're watching TV. Cuz everything you do would be cast up on the screen. I think it would be better if they put the little "cast" icon on the actual show you're watching instead of on the home screen only. That way you can cast the show that you actually want to watch.

Downloaded this app on a smartTV in order to watch on a large screen, but the app glitches constantly. Several times, it either froze or started rewinding when I hit pause. The commercial breaks are randomly inserted, often cutting a person off mid sentence even if there was time for a break a minute later. Because of this, I've had to rewind to catch what a person said. But every time you rewind and hit a commercial break you have to watch it all over again, with no options to skip. 0/10
