Won't. Even. Start. I get a message upon opening app that has a small error statement in the top left corner of the screen stating 'Error Please check your internet connection and try again Retry' I'm streaming vids from Syfy Now while I write this so there is no problem with my internet whatsoever. Epic Fail
App Use to work great. Now trying to sign in there is no Charter Spectrum Cable listed even though your app keeps saying it's available with provider search and to go back to provider list, but Charter is still not there. Also the Spectrum cable link for provider is broken. Exact same thing happens with FXNow app.
Pretty darn cool! Just got my first two lightstrips, synced watching The Expanse...awesome! Really looking forward to them syncing more programming, hopefully season 2 of 12 Monkeys (hint hint, SyFy) Only complaints I have are that the app works poorly on my phone, but great on my tablet (probably my phones fault; people have trouble hearing me on speakerphone often), and more fairly, the app seems to "lead" the lights a second or two before what's happening on the show. Would be nice to add an offset option, or otherwise synchronize better (why I took a star off) Overall, VERY excited about integrating light changes with my shows! Cant wait to use this more.
Great when it actually works, but I've only been able to get one episode of The Expanse to do light syncing with the Hue system. It just indefinitely says it's listening. Too bad - great idea, poor execution.
Can't watch anything like other stations. Not worth downloading. Wanted to see episodes of Face off this season.
Use to be amazing! But they just dropped the ball. The hue lights with 12 monkeys got my wife and I to watch and love it. Now it won't even open on several different devices. I don't even wanna watch the show without my hue lights! Cutting edge technology and they let it fail!
Couldn't even get past the first screen- locked up.
I love the Philips Hue integration...when I can get it to work. Getting an episode to sync, and then STAY synced can be an exercise in troubleshooting.
You can't get any Sci-Fi TV shows whatsoever what a waste of my time
Do not download unless you want to watch the expanse, 12 monkeys or all of the sharknados. That's all you are going to get. I am going to Uninstall this useless app.
Used to be great. Watched 12 Monkeys and The Expanse with it and loved it! Never had any issues with it. Guess Syfy is moving past it because it is broken. Just keeps saying to check the internet connection. So much potential flushed. Sad.
It's apparent most people don't understand the purpose of this app is to sync your Hue colored lights to the viewing experience on your TV. I enjoyed this a lot last year for The Expanse, but now it's not updated for season 2!
The things this app can do are great. ..changes lights for different scenes, feelings. ...problem is. ..never updates, and few shows, still waiting for them to update for new season of expanse, and get some color coordination for face off
I thought this would allow me to watch the full episodes with my provider subscription login...but nope!
Needs more supported programs and devics to provide a truly immersive experience. Will be a lot of fun in the future. It's a bit ahead of the times.
Doesn't work nor does anything special it's not the true app to syfy. Waste of time and sorry for anyone thinking this is a app to watch any syfy movies and shows. Maybe someday or sometime the makers will do this for this app....
This app doesn't even do what it was intended to do. It didn't sync with The Expanse at all. EDIT: I have returned to this app and somehow managed to get it working with my lights and it is wonderful!
So awesome. Please keep developing more content! There are a lot of us still using this. It's literally perfect for you guys as a science fiction channel to be the early adopters of awesome new tech. Don't give up on her yet.

▪︎This application is nonfunctional on my-Samsung-Tablet: I uninstalled it then reinstalled it then restarted my-tablet+it's still nonfunctional so I must permanently uninstall this application. I'm sure I cannot give this application a fair rating; I really prefer not to give ratings anyway. Ugh. 👎▪︎
