Installed on my Samsung S7 Edge and the route guidance is not smooth at all. The map just freezes for up to 30 seconds then flips to the current position for a few seconds and freezes up again. This can be unsafe if it happens on an unfamiliar route and you find you've missed your turn. If this issue is fixed, I will try again & give it a proper review. After a quick reply from the dev, the problem is fixed. I'd give 5 stars but it does sometimes give strange routes. For example a recent route suggestion was a left turn followed by a u-turn where a simple right turn was possible. Not ideal but still a useful app

Very good navigation! Very nice interface. Very frendly. Easy to operate. One disadvantage: When I stop, for example at a traffic lights, the map starts rotating as if it doesn't know the root. Wen I start driving again, the map needs some time to catch the root again, so it is easy to miss the right direction at the next traffic lights, if it is too close, for example.

The app works well on my phone. I was drawn to it because it just looks visually impressive. My only dislike about it is the onscreen information and the side bar. Would be nice if the map spanned the whole screen and the side bar was a transparent overlay. The main reason I bought this app though, was because you can connect it to your cars entertainment system. I have a Ford Kuga 2019 with Sync 3. When I connect my phone to the car, the Sygic icon appears on the cars screen, but then just reports ‘waiting for device’. Nothing else happens. I have tried all the methods to try and correct the problem. I have read up on what others have written and it would appear that it worked well till Android 10 was released. The app hasn't been updated since October 2019. Not good enough when you consider how much you’re paying for it 😡.

This is still best navigation app, I have ever used. I must say that I find it slightly unpleasant that you have two distinct applications, the 'Car Connected' and the 'GPS Navigation'. Both are excellent, but they offer connectivity to different car models. So I had to buy both, because I often use rental cars. Still I do not regret! Your navigation apps are worth every penny! There is no place for full review here. Simply install the trial and see yourself!

In car navigation is spectacular. Navigating around in the app is terrible. Tons of settings to customize, but some are confusing as to what it does/is supposed to do. Entering/editing a saved address is TERRIBLE. Can't 'rename' something, must delete all and start over. User guide is decent but would be better easily accessed in app. Still very much worth the cost and I give it 5 stars. Just set things up as you need then don't think about changing any settings.

I do not understand from my experience why this app is so highly rated. It took several days to get all the maps downloaded over Wi-Fi and cellular data. I have excellent coverage in my area so that was not an issue. On top of that you cannot paste an address in the search field which makes easy navigation impossible there is no traffic listed. all the good features are only in premium & the premium seems to be $100 just for lifetime traffic plus additional fees for other features.

For. F. Feb 4, 2020

$82 for premium? You are freaking insane. And to top it off, there is no free trial to see how it works with sync3. Really? Extremely, extremely difficult to search for places if at all. Zooming is extremely hyper sensitive. Google maps and waze is so much easier and it's free. What are the advantages of paying for this map compared to the free ones?

****Update 5/14/19 After emailing support and being told there would be an update to fix the bluetooth audio issue, I was then told they could not understand the issue and wanted me to send them a video of the problem. It is very simple. When you are using the software and the audio directions are provided across bluetooth the radio input is auto changed to bluetooth audio. It does not switch back to the original audio input (e.g. radio, sirius, CD). You have to manually change it back. Then when the next navigation direction is provided you have to do it again and again and again. You have other software that treats the audio directions as "bluetooth phone calls" and goes back after. when using Bluetooth, the direction announcements changes the radio input and does not switch back. software remains turned on until you turn it off via the phone. no option to turn it off by the in car controls, so if you leave the phone in the car the software kills the battery. i have written to the developers and been advised that a fix for the bluetooth was "on the way" for a year now. also advised that they were unable to set an option to have the software turned off when not in use.

Offers features for free if you give it 5 star rating before you have had a chance to try it. for me not obvious you have to and what you pay when installing it. Hard to exit the app requires lots of button pressing which you can't do if you are driving. if you turn off phone screen e.g on long motorway you to log back in on the phone, unlike google where the app is still on. The graphics are really good. Un-installing due to not being free.

This has got to be the very worst app that I have ever come across. After spending the full amount for Europe, I find it is unable to connect tethered to a GiffGaff mobile data plan - essential for mobile navigation - either on the the phone itself or the Android Head Unit in the car. After connecting to a home WiFi, just to be able to even get in the app, I find it losing the activation code with no way to re-enter it. Support is truly useless too. With no voice activation, these offline navigation apps are becoming obsolete in the face of Waze and Google Maps, but at least iGo Nav works for when offline is the only solution. I am just having to write-off £70 but better than tearing my hair out with this.

Tried the premium trial. Around half of my stops dont pull up on this thing. How I have to keep pulling up menus and a detailed search to try and find the place. The automatic setting of kilometers with a British voice is unsettling. I figure an app that wants 150 for premium would detect that I'm In central Texas and put the imperial measurement system and an american voice. Couldn't get a few premium features to work properly. The live speedometer is inaccurate up to 5mph. Example. It was reading a steady 56mph when I was doing 60-61mph. All in all, as far as functionality, user friendliness and price point go. Google maps is where it's at. I was hoping to use sygic in the F-750 I drive but its worthless.

Deb. S. Nov 23, 2018

Only giving 3 stars as the voice guidance cuts off every sentence at the end. Sometimes this isn't an issue, like when it says "Turn R"...I understand it means right. But when it says take "Exit 8"...and I'm by 86A and 86B it is of no help and just causes confusion and panic. I also think Google is better at describing exits, as it gives the full name, not just a number. If I didn't require this for in car navigation I would stick with Google maps.

I've been using sygic and paid several times، still sygic wants me to " buy premium ". needs to be fix . I like the graphics and smooth rendering. I updated maps each time when required, hopping maybe the searching process may get better with "one easy quick step" shows wrong places, but unfortunately sygic never paid attention to this method. Very poor search engine with complicated steps," sygic still on my devices, but I never used it since long time because of this issue. Please fix it.

Ric. M. Oct 26, 2019

This app has stopped completely, it crashes as soon as I try to type in à address the keyboard freezes up. This use to be the best car nav app. I have paid for the App and now it is useless after the last update . I have uninstalled reinstalled and set to default, still no good. Sorry for the negative feedback. I hope that someone can fix it and make it run like it should.

A. G. u. Oct 2, 2018

I'm hoping this app keeps improving. It's got all the things I'd want for my new Ford Fusion. As of today tho, is provides a blurry faded screen, is difficult to expand or shrink screens, it lags in all aspects. The maps are a wonderful idea loaded on the phone but searching is impossible bcz of the lag time. The options are just what I'd want if the app didn't suffer from too large boxes covering the screen. So programmers, pls keep going. I'll be checking back to see if Sygic adapts to FORD SYNC 3 better in the future. You've got all I'd want but it lacks in speed and output where other apps like Google maps and/or Driving work flawlessly even tho they lack in options.

Works quite well connected to 2015 Honda CR-V EX with Samsung Galaxy S10e. I own a Honda CR-V that sadly is too old to support Android Auto but recent enough to support MirrorLink. To the best of my knowledge the "Car Connected Navigation" version of Sygic is the only navigation application that works on this car, and it works quite well. The user interface is dated, reminding me of a standalone Magellan GPS I purchased a dozen years ago, but it works. You have to enter addresses by first picking city, then street, and then number which is not ideal but acceptable. Maps can be downloaded on the phone so that no data is needed when driving. Speed limits are displayed, and it is possible to enable an audible warning if going too fast. So if you have a car that supports MirrorLink but not Android Auto and would like to display directions on your dash rather than having to use a phone holder, I think this a good solution.

Dav. D. Jul 1, 2019

The only reason I gave 2 points instead of 1 is very beautiful user interface and excellent 3D maps-streets, tpography and buildings. Very beautiful, really. The app is eye-candy but useless. I gave it a chance several times but I have to give up and un-install and never return back. Standard Google Maps+navigation works so much better. So, what are the main problems with this app? First and foremost, geo-locating. Slow, unprecise and useless. I've been several times in situation where I went thru the city block with lots of narrow streets and Sygic DON'T "KNOW" where it is! The picture is spinning and you really don't know where you are. Secondly, render speed. Terrible as well. In average speed of let say 70 kmh , the delay can be dangerous because you constantly checking if Sygic follows you so you can follow next command. And you finally don't know if the voice delay same as graphic (or gps) or voice have his own position and graphics their own. Very confusing, annoying, useless and dangerous. Thirdly, the stationary position. When You stop, the picture DONT STAY at the current position - the whole picture slant in 30 or so degrees! Crazy! So, Sygic, goodbye for good.

Probably the best one left. When the Navigon support closed and it stopped functioning on my previous phone, I searched and found Sygic. I travel all over the planet and it is one of the few with proper offline maps. The display is great and easy to discern with a short look. Only thing ai don't like is that sometimes it is a bit late with directions. If you wait for "Now turn left" it is often too late. Once adapted to that behaviour, it works well, and globally at a great price.

Jay. R. Apr 28, 2019

Love this map app The graphics are hands down the best. It's comprehensive, shows tricky merges and turns. If you choose, an alarm will sound 1, If you're going over the speed limit. 2, If there is a red light or speed camera ahead. The offline apps are very handy. I didn't give 5 stars because I can't connect it through to my 2018 Honda HRV Infotainment screen + audio. I'd appreciate any help from Sygic as this was what really pushed me to buy the premium version 🙏

Azu. D. May 3, 2019

Generaly reliable. Positive: you don't really need internet once your map is up to date. But that's what Google Maps app can do as well. So unlike Waze for instance, you're not in the blind when the internet cuts off, as long as your GPS hardware is in good function. Negative: what I hate,as in really reaaally hate about this app is that EACH effy time you update it, you're basically losing all the maps you've downloaded previously🤬 Fellas, this sounds rather like a REINSTALL than an UPDATE.

Pau. T. Nov 3, 2019

The arrow representing the car is placed in the middle of the screen, which is a terrible spot to put it. This limits what you can see coming up ahead. It should be placed further down to show more of the upcoming route ! Also, menu navigation is way too complex, this app needs better refinement.

jor. n. Oct 20, 2018

Gets you from A to B but be prepared to go the long way and on the back roads...despite what you put in your preferences. ETA is always wrong and can't seem to change it from KM to miles. I paid £40 for car connectivity and whilst this works great, they above really doesn't warrant the £40!! I don't expect to pay for something that does do the most basic of gps functions correctly

It does not connect to sync 3 version 3 on Ford Flex. Waste of money. Sync sees the app but the app will not connect. Tried 2 cables. Android Auto was off. Restarted phone and car. It just will not work. Update-I have been trying now for two weeks following all the listed trouble shooting and even reflashed the Ford Sync3. Still no connection just "waiting for device" The Sync sees the app but the final connection call not be made. Lots of other apps are seen and they work but not Sygic. I do wonder if it is some phone compatibility thing. Maybe the Sync3 does not like the Oneplus 6T. The usb C port on the Oneplus 6T is slightly non-standard as it supports a special charging mode (just my guess) . In summary avoid this product if you have a Ford Flex with Sync3.

bri. t. Mar 12, 2019

failing to read with satellite. it simply will show you the roads, streets route directional but that is only when you are in WiFi that's it. once you are now outdoor and you want to do the real thing that you downloaded it for and thus using satellite it will tell you that it's not ready for navigation even after waiting for it to search the satellite option. so it can't be the one I once downloaded a long time ago which worked perfectly.

Mar. H. Jun 13, 2019

Lags behind so directions often don't get spoken until after the turn. Takes a long time to start rerouting, therefore it will keep telling you to make a uturn long after it would be quicker to recalculate the route. I found it to be unusable. Sygic's other SatNav, the non-car connected version is much better and has a more modern interface than this version.
