Sygic Truck GPS Navigation

It'll get you from A to B, however it will most likely add random detours for no apparent reason. It gets confused if you deviate from the route and won't always readjust your planned route accordingly - this week it would have made me drive back to where I diverted (app. 14 miles) and continue on the planned route, even after I had reached my destination. Needs to go back to Beta testing in my opinion. I paid for an annual license.

Excellent App. Works as well as any professional sat navigation you could go out and buy. As with anything there are a few bits that you need to use common sense and not follow the navigation. But that's usually because of things other than actual restrictions the app knows about.

I like Sygic. I used Sygic sat nav for many years. But what about Sygic Truck.. No bad but can be better. First what I don't like it it too many turns instead go on main road with little as possible turns. Even I put use main roads, anyway Sygic takes me to residential roads with lots of parked cars, narrow roads, sharp turns to narrow for lorries. It is OK for low bridges but no good for width restriction. I put 8'' but anyway taking me through 7''. It is accurate but need more improvements

Why doesn't this allow the use of Google's Voices instead of that robotic grating voice? Or did I miss some setting? This seems a cut down version of their other app WHICH IS GREAT FOR LOW END HANDSETS, but it wants to download ALL Aussie maps whilst the other app allows download by states! Why?

Terrible, the screen doesn't follow the vehicle. You have to reset the screen every time you drive off the map. Cannot find any setting to change it. Obviously can't touch my phone whilst driving. I wouldn't buy the premium of this app.

Im a trainer and am comparing this to a Rand McNally GPS for my student. So far I am impressed but, suggestions. 1) for truckers, gas stations button on main screen is not needed, change to Fuel stops that only shows Truck capable stops, Pilot, Loves, TA, Petro, etc. 2) Menu buttons to show quick access to other things needed by truckers, rest areas, weigh stations, cat scales would be beneficial. 3) A button for needed things like Hospital, urgent care i.e. Medical facilities. 4) weigh stations

Purchased this app but it no longer works. Maps would not install and I was unable to get the program to load. Tried it on 2 different devices. Same issue. After a lot of frustration and much back and forth over several days they finally agreed to refund my purchase. The money showed up in PayPal without any follow-up from their customer service rep. Why they would make changes to the app without fully proving it out first, is beyond me but at least they gave a full refund.

Even if Wifi isnt available its a great app. I visited Cyprus and Google Maps was not working. Wifi was not working - however, (with a caution) of inaccuracy i drove from Larnica Airport to my hotel in Ayia Napa and it was perfect. Very pleased and as a Vloger will count on rhis App rather than Google. Happy Travels Stan Voice Of Wales

Thank God I didn't buy it, I use its free premium trial period. I don't know how this app has 4.2 overall stars, I am a new lorry driver, totally relying on navigation app and it took me wong 3times already. Today I almost turned into a very narrow road where was just enough space for a car. My experience is terrible with this app.

Just purchased a new phone and now I can't download new maps. Says there is a bug and to update after the developer updated the app. Updated. It is finally working.

I like the efficiency of the app and being able to set my own messages. Would like to see more satellite imagery of origin and destination places.

Good 90% of the time. Shocking 10% of the time. I just use it alongside Google maps now as you can't trust it. It will take you left around the world when it's just right around the corner.

Alright been using this app for a while. it works as advertised as long as you put in the right dimensions. some tweeking required, the setups are not based on US trucks. ex axle weights is for each axle not the group. Second the built in POIs are geared more for cars than trucks. There is vehicle specific that is supposed to make finding stops easier but that is still not good enough. I still use a trucking GPS or Trucker Path (app) to find stops along my route.

Up to now I have only used this solo. It was bought to avoid minor roads when towing my caravan. So this is a limited review. Value for money excellent, but awkward initially getting used to it and finding its little quirks. Full review to be edited in August 2022.

Few communication issues, but got my issues resolved in the end. It's a good sat nav that works well for me, would recommend considering the cost of the alternatives.

one of my mate use trucks version..and he pay ..monthly....I try to do same but here is yearly price available....but I want monthly price ...please help me to purchase on monthly basis...thanks waiting your reply thanks..I put 3 star because I couldn't find the monthly option....so I didn't use this GPS ..when I use I will rate

Great App, I use this as my main GPS as a Professional Driver. Not had any directional issues as others are stating, perhaps run it on a small tablet rather than a phone!! Plenty of options for vehicle compliance in there, if you take the time to put all the info in, it always finds the best route. Run time and arrival times are spot on. Does need some improvement on Tfl routes, it does try to route me around 3.5t Safe HGV Zones, perhaps add DVS Compliant to it.

When setting nav with a car and folding camper, with 60 mph, there is no difference in time for a car doing, say 90mph over the same map. Doesn't seem to be picking up on the mph, nor that i say i have a caravan on tow. Glitch possibly?

Far too expensive with all the add-ons for a phone sat nav. Won't be finishing my free trial as I won't be buying it at the end due to the cost.

Very cumbersome to use. It is not easy, and still can not figure out how to change units on the RV upgrade version

What can I say, I was a but unsure using an app on the phone to do with a truck sat nav app. All I can say is thank you! App is easy to use. Very clear and precise actions to take. The speed of recalculating is spot on. Top marks for if there is wrong info on a road like weight restriction you can input an error and send it. I give this app 4.5 stars. Minus half a star as on some roads stated at 7.5t when actually there wasn't a restriction, however I know that road so wasn't and issue.

MUST READ!!! FRAUD!!!!This app doesn't download the maps! I purchased this app and none of the maps downloaded so I complained to them and they told me to send them all kind of screen shots videos..etc. and still didn't solve the issues! I paid and wasn't able to use the app! Then they told me that they would refund me and that was about a month and a half ago and never send me nothing!!! These ppl are a fraud DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP! IS USELESS AND VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!

A few changes have been made and it works great now. The search function is out dated and nothing like Google maps, but the directions are spot on most of the time

This app has to be a joke, right? I mean, it just has to be. The directions in the "itinerary" are laughable, at best. "94 miles, take a right in Richmond". ONTO WHAT ROAD?! There's more than one road in Richmond, you dweebs. For those thinking of downloading this, absolutely do not. If anything, all its true purpose is, is likely data mining. Would rate 0 stars if I could.
