Always easy to book. Good instructions about the property, we have stayed at a few properties now and they have all been first class.

Excellent, restful, well-appointed holiday accommodation hospitably managed. Ideally located for visiting Devon close by good local pub. Relaxing garden to enjoy, too! Thoroughly recommended.

App was working now it's broke and nothing loads, cant log in , can't see anything just blank . You have to delete the app and go Google search for it to work at the moment . When it is working though 🤣 5 stars really good just needs mending right now x

Works for all of 5 minutes then tells you internet connection has been lost when it's clearly still working if I can use the Sykes website on chrome

This is 3rd time in using skyes, there customer service is amazing and the cottages are beautiful. Can't wait to book the next ones

Sykes is my go to site for holidays. I have booked many times before and I have never had an issue. I highly recommend Sykes to those wanting a stress free way of booking a break away.

Worst company. Never book it again with them. They cancelled my booking after taking deposit and without any reason. No correspondence not helpful at all.

App says there is no connection when there is. Cannot use it. Reinstalling doesn't help.

They charged us to renew the house. The second floor bathroom was leaking water to the kitchen which was disgusting, we had a terrible holiday cleaning this. On top they charged us to fix it. Stay away!

Used only Sykes for years and they have never let us down. Staff on booking phones always helpful and friendly

it's a lovely house and great place. you get everything at one place not much far from house but I think the owner needs to update doors and windows we tried to open two window and both didn't close and we went out of house but from front door we count enter we struggled to open the front door then we used the back door so we don't get stuck outside and need more clean of floor too

We have used Sykes many times over the years, and we are always pleased with the quality of available bookings, and the sheer amount of bookings to choose from in all areas. I've never had an issue as far as I can remember, other than having a booking cancelled due to Covid, which was promptly refunded by the vendor, all facilitated by Sykes. The app is very good as well, easy to use and navigate.

Already booked but the constant updates and offers to book a holiday and what you could win are a bit much, I would prefer less and would wait until I have my holiday until I book another anyway. Although it is handy to know the new Cottages or areas I would rather use the App to find out when I'm ready, otherwise a good site and look forward to booking again as there are so many possibilities.

Grumbles cottage had a fantastic stay, cottage is very clean and has everything you need whilst you are there, could not have asked for more, large book with all the local places to visits very helpful, had to contact the owner and also very helpful. I would highly recommend a stay here

No filters that I can find on app for disabled facilities eg ground floor wet room shower etc. It would be good if you could save your search prefs too

I don't seem to be able to save favourites in the App even though it's possible on the Website. My partner has booked our property through his account. I would like to save it in my App so I don't have to keep searching for it as it doesn't show in Bookings. Also the search history clears upon exiting the App, although I note from a response to another review that this is being looked into.

App works pretty well. Would be better if you could save 'favourites' the way you can on the website. My biggest complaint is about the calendar function. I can't get further than September. So I can't book anything in December. This seems to because of the way the days fall in September. It is pushing the month name and the 'next' arrow up underneath the Sykes Cottages logo at the top of the screen. So I can't click the 'next' arrow.

Some pointers: When you click the back button on your phone then it should go to the previous screen, not exit the app On that note. If you come out of the app and go back it completely restarts it. It should save some search information from the last time it was open . In particular the number of people and age. You should have the option to save favourites You should have the option to save searches

A little piece of heaven,down a quiet lane. The property was cosy with a little private garden.The added bonus was the carport,were you can unload your bags straight into the property,rain or shine. It was central to all attractions. The owners were friendly and were close by if needed. The only downside was the electric cooker was slow to heat up but we did get used to it.We wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Best holiday cottages you could wish for.

Put dates in, app says not available when property is selected, however, it then gives option to select the dates originally wanted! Makes booking very frustrating!

honestly I am amazed how the cost of cottages have doubled since covid began. so much so we cannot justify the increases and are now choosing day trips to our favourite places and returning home to sleep. one wonders when covid begins to be less of a threat and the public return to foreign holidays will prices return to an affordable level!!! as there is more availability

Keeps clearing what I search for if I come out of the app for too long, very frustrating! Have to remember to use the back button in the app and not the phones back button too. Overall a good app and makes finding somewhere and booking easy.

I have used Sykes for a number of years and found them to be ok with a few exceptions. First is looking at properties on google earth, you can't do this with any degree of accuracy until you have the post code. You are given the post code after you have paid in full. I experienced this first hand, after checking the property and vaccinity and parking issues. I cancelled holiday and asked for a refund or part of. I recieved nothing, so beware. Owners of properties are very economical with truth.
