OMG, how do they get away with this. I am using this with the X15w The app installs but does nothing. After much pressing of the start button it brings up a controller which does nothing. The WIFI appears to be connected in the phone settings, but when you open the app there is no WIFI connection. I managed to get a WiFi signal one by pressing the power button on the app and though it showed a signal, it still did nothing. There is no image from the camera and I tried absolutely everything.

Android version 9 - Samsung A20e. Just doesn't work. Nothing happens. Tried tweaking network settings. No go. I can connect to the wifi network and it stays connected, I start the app, press the start button, and nothing works from that point. The power button on the screen is unresponsive. The movie button causes my phone to beep, but nothing else. The camera button does nothing. With my daughter's iPhone - it worked instantly. Any tips to make this work? Camera functions are completely useless without the mobile phone app.

I am yet to try it, but the app looks poorly made. All of the icons are pixelated and blurry and some are even cut off, making it difficult to know what you're doing. The help page is completely unreadable because of this. Edit: I tried it and it works. The trimming is bad though, it needs to be in smaller increments because at one number the drone moves one way and at the next it moves the other way and there's no in between, but that might just be the drone and not the app.

The app is clearly old and badly made, I still can't make it record. To all those who are having problems with Android and WiFi, connect to the drone and then DISABLE MOBILE DATA. Since the drone doesn't provide internet connectivity, the phone will simply ignore it and will try to use mobile data instead.

Its very good, controls aren't complicated for the user. works really well when you cant find the controler for the drone.... Could update the app tho to make it look more appealing, other than that i would recommend people to use this app.

Much like a lot of the other reviews, just can't get it to work on Android. Phone connects to the cameras wifi but the app won't connect to the drone. Tried several phones with different android verdion and no luck. Took a gamble on a cheap drone in the clearance isle at Rural King and lost.

Just paired with wifi and launched app, x5uw drone and shield tablet, range was around 100' before I saw any glitches. If you want a nice toy drone app or do quick roof inspections with low-medium video detail this is a good app

I had installed this app it works good for few days.But after some days it is not working I cannot capture videos and photos. Plz plz help me to capture videos without capturing photos and videos the drone I baught is useless.😔

First power on drone 1 open your WiFi settings 2 connect to FVP-WIFI 3 Once connection has been established exit and open the Syma Go App No wifi detected S10Lite or Xiaomi MI 10 pro. Both my mobiles can't find find the wlan name FVP but on my Samsung TV I can see it and on my work station pc So can't use it and I see it common problem????

What can I say this drones a beast! I love drones have quite a few, and this drone is awesome!! Had one crashed it. The thing broke (50 feet over payment. Didnt stand a chance) seeked out others to buy. The app is fine dont know why people are always complaining it's a friggen toy people!!! You think an 8 year old kid really cares?!?! Sure the app could be updated but syma always seems to deliver a decent drone.

After I get done downloading I open up the app And I connect it to the drones Wi-Fi And then the Drone for some odd reason I couldn't use my phone or any of the systems on it at all This would not work and I have an LG Stylo 5 And none of the systems was working it didn't want to take off when I told it to through the phone when I give it throttle it didn't do nothing it just sat there The camera will not respond I could not get it to work Sapote the Creator the stupid app fixes that issue

I already connect with this apps..but when i click record button, nothing happen.. also, the other button at apps not functioning.. only appear pic that have connect..

It was hard at first but then I realised that I needed to connect WiFi and the left and right was easy to control and the camera was working so now I like this drone.

No picture nuthing. Tryed on tablet apple ipad and android phone .. no images it beeps if you press record thats it. Phone conects to wifi i think it dosnt like it as no internet comes into phone etc and fixs??

Spent 3 weeks searching forums and troubleshooting to get this app working.. Still no luck, utterly useless just like all Syma apps

Does not work with S8+ at all. Just a black screen. No video feed

Not worked at all. As I see multiple people experience the same... please do appropriate support for a physical object...

Works spot on (note to all syma x5 users only the x5hw and other wifi enabled drones will conect to pho e to controll not just because you have a wifi camera...) wakey wakey people..

Does not work with android. You connect wifi and return to app and nothing works.

Overrall the apps is ok but can you add some futures like drone battery level and the distance it can go....

Just doesn't work. No matter what I do it won't sync up with my galaxy s10

not able to lift or fly my X5sw-v3. the camra controls functional but not the controls.

It is bad it will cut off when you are flying also it will not fly the right way like right is left and left is right.😒😒👎👎

This app is not good layot is very bad and the aircraft does not respond when u try to fly from this app

Camera Wi-Fi not showing in mobile, couldn't able to access through mobile
