If you need to uninstall this app from your Android device, go to the “Settings” menu and disable “device admin” prior uninstalling. If “device admin” is enabled, the uninstall procedure will fail.

The app does what it says and is supposed to do. I haven't noticed any battery or performance impact, which is a significant achievement compared to other similar solutions. Note to (almost) all bad reviews: guys, at least read the description! It clearly states that this is: 1. a company solution (hence the server, user ID and password) and 2. it has a device administrator functionality, so in case you want to uninstall it you have to first deactivate it in the settings. RTFM!
😬 I called Symantec tech support.They were clueless about what product, I was talking about, The represetative was yawning on the phone, and had a language barrier. I was put on hold so many times, transferred to many departments, spoke to 4 different people, and I ended up with four different 1 800 numbers: 📱745-6034 📱745-6061 📱721 -3934 📱342-0652 After all that trouble. My problem was not fixed. the reps sounded more like telemarketers than technicians, Norton has very bad tech support & no one cares
Frustrated because you can't set it up? God help you when you try to unintstal. It won't, unless you follow the instructions to the letter. I managed to do so - after a lot of messing. Clue: Carefully READ their instructions at the end of the Playstore product info.
Every time I make a username or password it says check it. See I just uninstall it, crap need to fix asap.
This is a piece of crap, I spent a good hour trying to come up with a username & A password & the retarded app would not accept either the username or password. This app is junk & very poor. I would not recommend the stupid app.
I bought a license to use 'Norton Security for Mobile' for my Android Smartphone, but I was shocked when the software warns me ahead of installation that it would erase all my data on the phone, is it not a crazy approach when I expected it to protect my data. That is a big lost for me.
Over heating samung S7 edge device & draining the battery very fast....had to uninstall
If an application is supposed to work then you have not done your job. Unless it is supposed to say fail when you log in. Going back to norton. Peace out
Make sure of what your downloading because I can't get it off my phone. I have never had an app this bad. I love Norton products.
Funny how there is no support and documents do not match product. Never could set up because there is no information on server address. Clearly the people at Norton are not talking to each other. Nothing is correct for something simple as program setup.

This app won't uninstall at all and doesn't work don't install it you will regret it
Works perfectly, av scans are quick and the anti theft functionality is good too.
Could not activate app. Was not informed on how to install server name.
Don't know what Norton wants with request for server\ port field and app won't work without it , so far this is the second device where app fails!
Would not allow me to deactivate it in order to uninstall it. Frustrating!
It doesn't work and won't let you uninstall. FYI - you have to go into settings/security/device administrators and untick the SMS app. Then you are able to uninstall

At one time Norton made great products. Those days are gone. This app worked at one time but now it crashes every time I open it. Immediately. I can't uninstall it and I can't reinstall it. The Norton website says it is installed but needs to be renewed. I can't renew it because I can't put it in my basket. I have it on automatic payment along with the PC version. I have been using Norton products since 1985 or 1986 and I have never encountered such a dismal, disappointing, frustrating product.
