found that my fitbit versa would not sync with my huawei p20 lite, seemed to the first time but failed after that. I Googled why it wouldnt sync and read various work arounds when this app came up. I used the temporary fix button but that was a bit hit and miss sometimes it would and others it wouldnt sync. I followed the instructions for the permanent fix and am pleased to say have not had a syncing issue since and will purchase after trial runs out. A top job has basically saved the day
This app saved my fitbit from getting sent back. I got a beautiful fitbit versa and set it up only to have never ending sync issues. I have a Huawei P10 lite. After downloading the app and applying the permanent fix my problems are solved, have happily bought the app. Thank you so much!! I see in the fitbit community pages that fitbit has been aware that they not compatible for months and just didnt care enough to come up with a solution so I really do thank the developer!!!
Seems to do the job for me very well. One suggestion would be for the app to implement changes or prompts to make changes rather than following instructions to do it yourself? Also the "keep alive widget" option has disappeared from the fitbit app. Cannot fault your app at all, thank you so much for taking the tine to write it and saving me and others from having a near useless fitbit!
Have only used the temporary fix but it has finally allowed me to sync my fitbit with my phone. Still not getting calls and messages but maybe that would happen if I tried the permanent fix. Just so relieved that they are finally syncing, I daren't risk anything else at the moment!
You should not need this but due to Fitbit not implementing a robust Bluetooth connection then this is a must. It solves the lack of connectivity and allows notifications and syncing. As a software developer myself let me point out that overcoming the Fitbit problem is no easy task, so please support the coder and recognise the hard work he put in and pay the €5 to unlock the app....
Makes Fitbit so more reliable with Honor and Huawei phones. I'd noticed the sync was very sporadic between my ionic and my Honour 9 lite but since applying the patch it syncs perfectly. Thank you. Until Fitbit sort the issue themselves (which is unlikely) It's well worth the few quid you're asking.
Huawei P20 Pro lite and Fitbit Versa. I boxed up my Versa last night ready to return it because its never worked properly. I've had the Huawei almost a week and it hasn't synced but I had a Sony XAI before and had problems with that too. I got in touch with Fitbit who said both phones are not compatible!! I read up today on Google and found out about this app. I downloaded, followed instructions, and Wow its working!! How much is it to buy please? I will trial 1st..
Stopped me from chucking my huawei! I was getting really annoyed with the sync issue and that there's no fix from fitbit, this app did the job and was easy to follow. Good trial period and at the end of a success weeks trial I paid for the full version.
What a relief! My Huawei P20 and Charge 3 stopped syncing on March 11 and I've been trying to get them to talk since. After finding this app on the Fitbit community forum, my problem is fixed! The only downside is I seem to have a permanent notification with often changing, seemingly random, words which is odd.
This app is amazing. i was so excited to have a fitbit again.. However I didn't know it wouldn't sync with my Huawei. Needless to say i was disappointed but since finding this app I haven't had a problem. I will be purchasing the permanent option when the trial runs out. worth it!
I downloaded this because my fitbit sometimes sync and sometimes won't. My biggest issue is not getting calls or messages real time. But when following the steps in the "Permanent fix" the last step asks me to turn on "Keep widget alive" but it doesn't exist. Seems like Fitbit have removed it? I have a Huawei P30 Pro
this app was so simple I wondered if it did anything at all but it fixed the issue in a second and i was able to sync within a minute. Months of struggling, troubleshooting and replacement fitbit solved in moments, thank you. Samsung J2 and Charge HR2
Does exactly what it is supposed to. After following the instructions for getting the service to be enabled, my Ionic now syncs with my Honor View 10 which it wasn't able to do previously. Top stuff!
Thankful for you. It is such a shame that a third party has a fix that the devs of Fitbit doesn't. Used the temporary fix and was elated to have my Versa 2 working again. I have decided to pay for the permanent fix because it is so worth it. Great job!!!
I gave a 3 rating only because it worked the 1st time that I used it second time it didn't work. I had to get another Fitbit. My thoughts are the app should have detected that something was wrong with the Fitbit. I am very disappointed in Fitbit Versa for the amount of money spent on this it shouldn't need anything else, especially that you have to purchase. 😟 Maybe this a blog for Fitbit.
I had always been having problems syncing my HW phone with my Fitbit. i first tried the trial and the fix worked beautifully. totally recommend. feel free to try and pay only if it works for you. thank you for this fix!
Fantastic! I haven't been able to properly use my Versa with my LG V20 since I bought a year ago. Now all working perfectly and I was even able to hide the Sync Fix persistent notification by swiping and hiding it so I don't see those random words. Fitbit should be offering you a job :-)
This app is a godsend, thanks to the Dev for taking the time to address this issue that fitbit can't be bothered with. Working great on Huawei mate se oreo 8.0 using permanent fix. I've been syncing for week with no issues. Definitely buying the premium after trial ends.
Great app, full version happily purchased. Thank you so much, My fitbit is now working as it should. It's just annoying that Fitbit haven't fixed this themselves, and have forced people to use the work around.
Works for my Inspire and Honor 7S. Didn't work after a restart at first but after I sent an email it worked. I sent a followup email explaining it now works! Always double check the app before sending emails.
Versa has been driving me insane on Huawei Mate 9 not syncing, no notifications etc. Installed the free trial today and took about 5 minutes to follow instructions. if it carries on working I will be buying. Nice efficient work thankyou.
Allows me to sync data between my Honor View 10 and Versa without problems. Notifications also work. I would give a 5* rating and purchase the app for permanent solution if I could get Connected GPS to work also.
This app saved my sanity with fitbit, an ionic and a Galaxy S9+. For the love of God, sell the solution to those useless idiots at fitbit so they can fix their own app. I'm sad now though, my phone upgraded to Android Pie and this app no longer works, even though I've re-applied all the settings :( Any idea if there will be an update coming out?
as of today as of today 17 August 2019, this app is great. I have not been able to sync my phone in almost a year. and today it synced in a few seconds.
Excellent app no longer having sync problems with fitbit versa many thanks worth every penny to auto sync without any further problems if you are having problems with the Versa get this app and get it sorted within minutes.
I was not able to get my Fitbit to sync with my honor 7 phone, mate SE, and now with this app it does so perfectly and easily. All of my thanks go to the developer. Thank you so very much for doing what Fitbit refuse to do.
Found this app through fitbit forum. Thank you very much! Fixes sync issues with Huawei Mate 10 Lite. Is it possible to get a techy explanation on what the fixes are actually doing? Also, have you gotten in touvh with fitbit regarding the fix? Would be much appreciated.
Tried for several days and despite few minor disruptions it has been working fine. Its worth purchasing, for a small cost I can use my Fitbit, bad that 3rd party had to do what Fitbit still cant, but grateful that someone spent the time and effort to make many Huawei users capable of using their watches.
This app is amazing. I have a Huawei SE and a Fitbit Versa. My Versa wouldn't connect, I couldn't get any of my notifications. I downloaded this app and at first it connected but i couldn't get notifications. I reached out to the developer and he immediately fixed it. Now my versa works great. It's amazing to me that Fitbit itself said it couldn't be done bc Huawei phones were not compatible, but here is proof that it can be done, they just didn't want to get it done. Thank you soooo much for creating a fix.
