Sync Gmail
Main intention is to save battery life. You can disabled the automatic synchronization settings (which are constantly checking for new incoming email and lower your battery lifetime), and your mail will be checked at a user given time.

Not work. Can't even set up Gmail acct
Does not work on S4! I can't get any of my mail, pictures or games. This is not a good app for all. No fix seems to work. Thumbs down.
Loaded it onto a Samsung note 3 and a note 5 ahd it does nothing on either.
Very simple... u can disable auto sync to save battery and use this app to have routine syncs. Can have few more options to select days of week and define intervals.
Dig it. Seems to work very well. All you have to do is turn off the sync settings in the gmail app settings per account, or you can turn the sync settings off in settings (device app) -- user and backup -- accounts -- google -- to show all the app sync settings you have and their on/off states.

Does what it says. Suggestion is to add a widget to "sync now" when tapped.

I'm wanting an app that let's me dictate what Gmail account to sync and when. This is great if I want complete silence but I'd rather not have work mixing with my personal Gmail syncs.
I can't imagine who this was designed for. If you could set a frequency of syncing (eg every 20 mins) it would be great. I can't imagine a use for it in its current form.
Although this does what it says, I want to check email every 15 minutes, not have to make a list of 100 times! Consider adding that feature...

Deliver what it promises, but the set up method is not intuitive, if you have multiple accounts you can't define to which one the sync applies, you can't define time period behavior (like sync every hour during the weekend), and a "sync now" widget would be helpful.
