You will be automatically billed $1.99 through Google Play Store every 365 days until you cancel your subscription. Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Your subscription can be managed and the auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the Account Settings after purchase. I'm very disappointed in this app. Originally had it on iPhone and was decently happy w it. But just renewed my subscription after downloading the Android version for my pixel and couldn't be more disappointed. All the reviews about not working in background are true. Totally unacceptable. I'd ask for a refund but don't expect to get one.
Seemed to work OK once I finally found a film in the free list I could try it with (couldn't find any way to see a "What's Hot" list just had to keep endlessly refreshing) But.. It dies as soon as the screen locks making it a bit useless unfortunately.
Horrible that can't even test it. Requires Twitter to login, says it charges iTunes. I don't use those. Got this on android duh.. was super stoked to find this, but give us options to sign in without Twitter. If it worked id happily pay 2 bucks monthly!!! Help me fix these stars!!!
I'd like a refund please. App stops working once phone auto locks and syncing is way off. Completely useless app. Do not buy this, there is no support and no update in 7 months. Seems like developer has jumped ship but will still take your money.
For the few minutes it works its great, but it inexplicably stops the timer after about 10 minutes. Are subscription refunds available? App is abandoned.
Will no longer find Hue bridge in 2021 after it has in the past, no updates to app for 3 years now. Unsubscribed and was refunded, should no longer be in Google Play store 👎
Horrible. not to mention the horrid selection of movies, this app did somthing wiered to one of my light bulbs when i tried to do stuff with it. do not install
The app does not work in the background. Therefore making it pretty useless!

For some reason it doesn't work well in the background or if your phone turns off. When it does you have to search for the movie again and resync. Seam like this app doesn't use all the features of hues
Great app a paid subscription is Under £2. Not going to break the bank if you have already got philips hue in your house. Just think how much hue has cost you. Yes some of the films are not perfect but after 10 minutes of the film being on the lighting if not perfect adds a nice ambience and drama to your movie.
Developers desperately need to fix the issue of the app stopping light syncing when the phone's screen turns off. The workaround discussed whereby one has to activate developer mode and enable "keep turned on when plugged in" is unacceptable. It's such a shame as this is otherwise a superb app with some great recipes.
Best App EVER. Most of the bugs have been worked out and if you make one light recipe than its free for the year.
Very cool! It definitely adds to the movie watching atmosphere! I just cant figure out how I will know if a synced movie will be accepted. I selected "shared" in the movie information, but I only see it in my private collection and not global. I'd definitely like to create more! Keep up the great work!
With the recent app update you can't even open it all it says is how to use it what the hell and I even paid the subscription very disappointed

The app doesn't sync with the movie watched home alone 2 and the lights didn't keep up so not happy really would like a refund as app doesn't work correctly don't waste your money
The app kept shutting off my lights and would not allow me to shutt off specific lights in my network..
A good little app with promise!! Way better than other apps that use The camera! A growing collection of films... Hoping for a request feature soon
Greatest app and customer service! Told them about the pause and stop button issue, they fixed it within days! Love the app!!!
In theory it's a good idea, but the execution isn't great. It's not that user friendly, you have to sync it to your TV by manually pressing play and then the timing seems to get out of sync rather quickly. Maybe it's my phone trying to kill the app in the background, but even still then they should prompt you to turn off battery optimisation. More than once the lights have just gotten stuck and won't change even though it says it's still running. Also the pause button resets the playback instead of pausing it.
The app used to be completely free to use. One could watch any movie they wanted with the lights synced. Now they have added a subscription model to watch movies that are not in the "What's Hot" category. Not only that, but the app just simply does not work the way it should. So you would be paying a yearly fee for an app that does nothing.
I used this app quite often while watching movies, all of a sudden it will no longer pair with my hub which is very disappointing considering I payed the fee. I understand the fee is small but there is an expectation that a product will work as described especially when you pay for the service, no matter the cost.
