Synchrony Bank

No interest charges for a year is a very good perk to have and Synchrony Bank credit card is one such card that offers that reward. I like the new update to the app. The older version made things more difficult to find.

App is easy to use and gets the job done. But with this latest update it meshed payments in with the activity, which I like but still would like to be able to see all of the previous payments in one location too, like it was. Also it's missing some of the features that the website has like FICO score.

First off, I would like anyone searching this card that after you pay your balance off they cancel the card without your knowledge. On time payments... completely paid off... tried to use at a restaurant... okay didn't think nothing about it..tried to buy tickets for a show.... same so I called to get told my account was canceled ... thank you for making my card choices better

As I try to login into my account lately after uninstalling and reinstalling the app several times along with turning off my phone I keep getting were sorry for any inconvenience we can not retrieve your information due to our Technical difficulties..Can you please fix this so that's in working order.. Also can you please have a section just to review payments..

I am happy with the set up of this... it's much easier to navigate than my chase or citi card... probably the most clear and simple. Displays what I need to know.

It is a decent app. I would like to be able to access all 4 of my synchrony accounts in one app. Please consider this option for those of us with multiple synchrony accts.

A lot more straightforward with what you need. Not trying to figure out the new updates. Everything makes more sense and easy to find.

App doesn't show all my accounts. Then when I scroll, it shows me fewer accounts than I have. Seems like when you scroll, it adds and deletes accounts from the screen at random. Some accounts show the last 4 digits of my account while some doesn't show anything. Very scary. UPDATE: I upgraded my review from 2 to 5 stars because the development team was able to fix the issue expeditiously. Kudos to Synchrony for listening to a customer's issue and handling it right away.

Finally Synchrony! So enthused that Synchrony has an app now. With Synchrony's wide reach, I was shocked that they didn't. So far, the app looks and functions smoothly. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that you can't see check images of checks deposited to your account. I have recurrent transfers to Synchrony from external banks, one of which, sends checks. But, I can never see the image of the check on the app or the website. 5 stars IF that functionality worked. :)

First off, glad Synchrony FINALLY has an app! long overdue. However the check deposit feature is poor compared to other banks' apps. i deposited a check via the app 4 days ago, and it STILL shows as pending. It took one day to even show as pending, such that I wondered if it even had registered my deposit. Other banks like Chase, the deposit shows up immediately, and the funds are available next day in full. Synchrony is far too slow!

It requires additional movements to look at what was once shown with less. It was fine before, no big improvement.

I used to get a one time text code with a security number everytime I logged on. That abruptly stopped. Call synchrony bank and was told I should clear the cache. I did this and it still didn't work. I uninstalled and re-installed the Synchrony app. It still didn't work. What happened? Why did the security code stopped being sent? I like the 2 factor authentication feature. I did call number. They had no answer for the issue I raised.

It is easier to navigate, but I would like more information available on the individual transactions. But otherwise I use it daily.

One of the best designed apps I use, simple design easy to use. What more could you ask for in a app.

I am unable to log in with biometrics. I have gone so far as to uninstall and reinstall the app and nothing changes.

Finally they made an app. I was so frustrated to use their website to make my transaction. I don't hate them. I think they are the best online bank but having the banking at your finger tip is also important. The app is stable and have everything I need except for statements and messages. I think they'll add that in the future, but it's not a big deal.

Love how I can go to app and make a payment or see my balance. Don't have to worry about remembering all my passcodes.

Fastest banking app I've used and shows accounts in all different states. I had to call customer support to remove an account restriction and the menus were responsive and relevant. After getting connected with an agent, they were very friendly and helpful in getting the restrictions removed. 10/10 would recommend

Synchrony app is great, simplifying maneuvering around on it.

I had a hard time logging into my online account. It shouldn't have taken so long to log in.

Easy access to payments and available balance / credit limit, simple and clean interface.

(edited: bumped from 1-star to 2-stars since snapshot can now be turned off. Notifications still SUCK!) Where are all the account settings? I shouldn't need to use a browser AND the app. Everything should be accessible IN THE APP! Why are the alerts so restricted? I get a detailed notification alert for all transactions with other banks, but not possible with the Synchrony MC. This makes it impossible to track authorized users' spending without opening the app everytime there's a transaction.

Works great never an issue

This app works like a charm! I tried to use MySynchrony app and could not make it work at all. I replaced it with this one and all is perfect. I wish the developers would alert users as to these issues and prevent the frustration I went through.

Easiest nav of any banking app I have used and I have used 10 recently including all types of transactions.

Some things take a long time pending but it has great interest rate. i can not complain. Great card

The app randomly signed me out and when I logon with my correct info (works fine on synchrony site) it offers to send a text message/call to phone numbers I NEVER used to sign up with Synchrony and my current verified cell number that shows up online isn't offered as a text or call option in the app. Fix this, I'll edit my ratings.

Have been a customer for a couple of years and have been using the app for mobile deposits. Seems this feature has stopped working, all I get are error messages. If this continues I will be moving my money over to my Ally savings. Their mobile deposit works fine and the savings rate is slightly better

Good, basic mobile banking app. The mobile check deposit function should allow you to review the pictures of both sides in something larger than a 1/2"x1/2" thumbnail - the tiny images it currently shows are too small to be useful.
