* Enter your Customer ID and Registered Mobile Number(Put mobile no with std code i.e 91xxxxxxxxxx) for SMS Alerts.
* If you don't know the Customer ID, check for Customer ID in your passbook or contact your branch.
* Wait to receive your OTP via SMS to your registered mobile number, enter it to confirm and proceed.
* Now set your four digit Mpin.

Very poor response. Despite emailing them the shortcomings for more than a month no update yet. Need to look for a better bank. Following are the notable shortcomings: 1. No pagination while viewing transactions. 2. Not able to use the app to view the transactions offline. 3. Not able to add the personalised notes. 4. No indication of time as to when the app was last synchronised with the bank server. 5. By default the passbook should open for savings Bank account.

The new version of the app is not useful at all... The older version was way more convenient... In the older version of this app you could access the records upto 2 years in past without even updating the passbook.but if you want to do the same in the latest version it shows that further details will be shared via email but it is not working.Please syndicate bank team look into this issue and if you are not able to solve these issues then please restart the older version.

The worst application.. Always shows processing, processing and processing. There is connectivity issue with server. Even uninstalled and installed it back but it's not at all registering. It's better to add this passbook feature with syndmobile app, so that it's feasible and easy to access paasbook to customer.

Kindly scrap this Synd e-passbook app as it is giving misleading and incomplete information. In my case, it is showing the amount credited in the passbook but doesn't show the TDS deducted against each entry credited. The balances are going haywire. If you total the last balance and current entry, the total doesn't match. Kindly rectify this immediately or scrap this app with immediate effect.

I don't know how to give a possible low rating. This app is total useless. Doesn't load properly. Takes time. Shows only few transaction no older transaction . No account statement , nothing. The only thing it shows is account information.plz develop app properly and provide essential services. Also feedback doesn't work . This is the final way to reach. Customer care , never pick the call

The app is not working properly. It takes more time to get synced/update. First of all when I installed it takes too much time to get registered,then entered in the app that time it was good. After a day it is not getting synced. It is showing the network is not working properly (I think the bank network).

I have to say, I thought this would not be a good app.. but its surprisingly well in terms of functionality, I love the simplicity of the app you just sync it and you have your results. The only complaint I can think of is the UI it looks a bit dated.. but it's not a deal breaker. Great app.

This app is even worse than actually visiting the bank as whenever I try to login using the mpin set by me "invalid mpin" Pops up on the screen and then I don't have any option rather than exiting or clicking on " forgot password " And repeating the process again.. Whoever is the founder/creator of this app needs to look into it as it is inconvenient in many ways.....!

Much better than before. It should get better by allowing transactions. I understand there is anither app with full functionality but it does not work overseas. It also does not allow to keep multiple accounts in one place. For example NRE and NRO accounts. Of all these could be achieved it will be a great app.

The updated app is horrible. Slow to refresh, session expires while another page in the app is open. Need to keep tapping on "load earlier" for each month's entries. Does not send statements by email despite multiple attempts. Bring back the earlier App! It functioned adequately

The app was good for its convenience if one just wanted to know credit debit history. It seems bank has forgot it after introducing SyndMobile app. The new app is indeed good however thr utility of epassbook was significant. I think the developers should look into the problem of 'no sync' or simply delete this app. Why are you wasting time of customers..?

The Older version was nice and clean easy to use. In this new app the main focus is on showing the red cercle that comes every time I selected something. it too slow, has to wait a bit to see the loading/connecting like thing appears. Very mush disappointed.

Broken app. Whenever I am trying to sync the app,it displays that the network is not available and further, the balance shown in the app differs from that of web portal and actual balance. Kindly rectify the bugs in the system.

Earlier version was so nice that I recommend it to many of my known people but since I updated few days back, till date I never able to open it once, after so many try. Please try to resolve as soon as possible. We are facing a lot of problems during this lockdown. Please restore the old version, so that we could see our transaction.

if i try to access it, every time it shows un-specified error, when after logged in, it wont show fresh transactions list, always it is very back in showing recent transactions list... i had a bad experience with this app, i opened my syndicate bank account 25 years ago, i had a little bit bad experience with this

Previously it was better. We can view the passbook offline. Now the facility has been removed and the experience is getting worse. Sometimes it shows invalid mpin, sometimes data sync error. Kindly fix this for a smooth experience.

App not working for last two days. Shows unable to process request. Tried reinstalling, and now I cannot set-up at all, as it shows the same error while trying to login. Please get someone who can fix this! I thought the amalgamation to Canara fixes all the issues you have, but looks like I was wrong.

While installing the app on Android phones, it is asking permission to manage phone and access to photos, files and folders, if denied then it is not allowing to install. The popup message says, access must be given to install, I am asking, in that case why " Deny" tab is provided. You are giving me the option to deny at the same time you are forcing me to accept. How come? Secondly, why a bank app wants access to photos, files and folder also it wants to manage phone calls?

Very bad experience installing this app. Not able to continue with the user registration as continously getting the error message "network unavailable, cannot proceed". Tried un-installing and re-installing, but no use. Getting the same error message.

The app isn't working for past few months after the merging with the other bank. No update of passbook, cannot even mail the statement, none of the functions are working. Since half the time banks update machine is at fault we are dependent on the app but then the app also doesn't seem to work. Developers please look into it.

Search option need to be optimised , it is not linked with the server , only shows data loaded in the app . And the older data loads only after clicking down the "load older transaction" and that too loads in 'a month before data' only , everytime we need to click on to see more n more , it should automatically loads down when scrolling up.

most of times it does not open. its only after trying many times that opens and if opens its takes forever to sync. its probability or working properly is 1out of 50. i dont know why they even made this app maybe just to showoff maybe. It keeps on saying network unavailable even though I am on wifi.

The app UI is good but it is showing wrong balance amount in all previous transactions. Only the final balance amount is shown correctly. Even it's showing negative balance but that's not the case. So app team please fix the problem as soon as possible.

Was a decent although very slow app. But since the merger with Canara Bank, it's become a complete waste of space on my phone. And no alternatives have been suggested whatsoever. Get your things is order faster please. This is extremely inconvenient for customers

Is useless. Half the time it refers back to play store for updates. There won't be any update as such, it just keeps doing that. Won't refresh properly either. Atleast one to two weeks late. Useless. The older version was very good.

Edit: The developer should be fired. Very unresponsive app. Lots of unnecessary modal open and closes. This app should be down. First: Pros: 1.New UI is nice. 2.No more balance mismatch issues. Cons: 1.API Responses are very very slow. Load monthly passbook at once atleast. 2.Term deposit listings are not in sorted order.

Very poor service.... After every 1-2 months I have to delete the app and download again as it stops responding. Even now, it has connectivity issues, I was told to delete it and install again but now it is not even registering. One of the worst service providers is this bank.
