Disconnects far to often and easily irrespective of settings in android os. Biggest pain is it constantly demands the 2FA be input again which gets highly annoying also... Great idea but not quite sorted yet!
Not impressed. Works horribly on Android. Won't auto connect after disconnect. Sick to openvpn for a rock solid state connection to nas.
I have been using this app for around two years. Easy to set up. I use it whenever I am not at home and still want the benefits of the pihole in my network.
Not working, the app is not connecting to the server, it doesn't even reach the server (no logs on the VPN plus server)
Ignores port and only works with port 443. Therefore RT2600AC configuration must be with port 443. Makes it less practical for me to use alongside a self-hosted webserver.
I really love this app . I wish there was a option that the app would start when not on the home network
excellent security. allow for 2 factor authentication too which makes it feel safe.
Is a useless vpn...dont use it...even u dont deserve one star.
just love it!
It's not work sometime I don't know why do that
Latest update fixes SSL error for android8 updates.
Nothing works. I can't connect within the app, yet I can connect with the same settings in the VPN settings on the phone. So nothing is wrong with my VPN settings on the NAS.
Generally great app, but not working after Pixel2 update to Oreo 8.1 - SSL/TLS error 100042e TLS_V1_ALERT_PROTOCOL_ERROR
Easy to setup and use. Gets the job done.
Another great app from Synology, works great.
Even after update to v1.0.1 I'm getting the same error every time. Do you even read the feedback here? "Error. Failed to connect to the server. Please check the IP address and you're devices network connectivity. (addr is of illegal length)". Issue occurs using DNS or IP address- Using the IOS app I can connect fine.
Figure out the errors, 4 and 16 and then the address, my fix was changing 'client IPC range : default' my guess is this has somethings to do with how licensing is controlled. I am up and working.
Same problem as everybody else. No solution being offered to resolve this.
Won't connect address is neither 4 or 16 byte error
Should not be only for synology routers.
App does not connect. I get the error "Address is neither 4 or 16 bytes". iOS app with the same settings works fine.
It shows it's connected, but no transmitting. Looking forward to make it work. Please keep up the good work.
Why only the Synology Router?
Need a new version to keep up with Android. Was working great until Oreo 8.1.
Can't configure psk for ipsec
Doesn't work one a oneplus5
Good app, and it works well on my chromebook, but it disconnects automatically after 5 minutes of inactivity. I have turned off battery optimization on the app and set it as an always on VPN, but it still turns itself off after I don't use it for 5 minutes. 5 stars otherwise, but not turning itself off is a critical function of a VPN.
