Easy to use, appreciate constantly being updated on ETA with more precise arrival times provided as the route progresses. It really helps precisely manage timing of food prep, especially with perishable or messy prep items. You can start knowing you will not get interrupted, have to clean up / put everything in the cooler, then start over again after putting the order away.
If it weren't for the fact that the app only works 50% of the time (or less) i'd give 5 stars. Most of the time I open it and it says "Sorry, please try again. You may be having connectivity issues." Even though I've got fine signal and all my other apps work fine. Otherwise when it DOES work, its fantastic. Estimated ETA sometimes up to 18 hours in advance, and an alert when the truck is headed my way.
For the most part, everything is relatively easy to order. Some of the items are infuriatingly labeled in a way that seems it could be changed to be easier to find. Also it would be nice to get certain veggies in a smaller amount for items that I may not need 10-20 lbs of. But other than that, between my rep and this app, my ordering life has become a lot easier
This app works great when working. I constantly have to re-enter my password and today it says I have to update the app to continue using. 7-7-21. Thats great, only there is no update option. Extremely frustrating. I tried uninstalling and re installing. No luck. Of course it's a truck day and last night the truck was scheduled to be here 2 hours before I get to the restaurant.
App wouldn't show my deliveries, reached out to customer service and told to uninstall and reinstall and contact them if it continued to be an issue. I've been installed and reinstalled, and get stuck at the green loading screen and nothing happens. I can't even reach customer service now. Help!
It's probably the worst ordering app I've ever used. The wording needed to search most products is ridiculous. I have to actually type in specific items, spelt 100% correct or nothing comes back. Sometimes 8m actually too specific for the app... It really needs a predictive text option or some sort of thing like Google has... "Did you mean....". Also, it really sucks that I can't order small amounts of items in my orders .. I'm made to over order on many products.
It is not accurate. What is the point of the app if it shows the truck at the warehouse most of the time or it the driver skips a stop. Several times the app will say truck is headed yoyr way and the truck doesny show up. Its is easier for the driver to just call the customer for the next stop before he leaves current stop
My rep highly recommend this app. Yes, I do get notifications about my delivery but when I go to the app to read the message the app either doesn't work or says it needs an update. I have yet to get this app to actually work. The only thing that is remotely helpful is the notification that says "your delivery is headed your way". I at least know the truck will be here soon and it doesn't require me to actually use the app. that's the only reason I gave this 2 stars.
I like the app in general. Needs to be able to use more than one account at a time as I have two stores, but I'll only get a notification for the last account that I logged into. It would also be helpful if the app would show the packing list of what's being delivered.
Lots of big issues, as typical of a Sysco app. I have to reinstall this app almost weekly to get it to function, and when it does, I get a ton of errors. There is no alternative of course, so I will continue to attempt to use this app, but it needs serious work by competent developers.
It was working great then the new update came out and now it crashes a minute after I open it. I can never get past the green sysco screen. I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling and it still crashes. I hope they fix this soon.
Less than helpful. App constantly says update yet it doesn't update. Fix the dam app or get rid of it!!! Its annoying to business owners that count on this app to be efficient. Frustrating! I will uninstall it if it doesn't get fixed its just a waste of time.
Completely inaccurate for deliveries. Consistantly recive notices our delivery has arrived & 4 hours later it's still not here. Reached out to support today & informed GPS is used to track orders. At the same time they also informed me we have no deliveries coming. When I sent screen shots from the app I was told I was wrong & I need to reach out to rep. Everytime I have reached out to rep regarding ETA I'm given some wildly inaccurate time which is usually well past our delivery window end.
Version 5.0.1 continually says app needs to be updated. Click OK and it takes you to the Play Store where your only options are to "Uninstall" or "Open". As an FYI, after multiple attempts at force quitting, reinstalling the app and rebooting, the only combination that worked for me was to (1) uninstall the app, (2) reboot the phone, then (3) reinstall the app.
Things were ok for a while, but I just got told to update. Well, here we go again. Same issues so lets just put the last review in quotes since it's always the same thing "Says i must update (again). Clicking update sends me here where there is no update, only says Uninstall or open. Have Uninstalled and reinstalled. Still wants an update that's not there"
Never accurate, driver is shown in random spots, then when you msg someone, you need to prove it like you're lying. Over and over. Notifications are always late. Constantly logs you out for no reason. Fix the faulty system.
It works well if the drivers actually use it. Many times it shows a delivery time frame but you cannot see the truck. I do like the invoice section, that seems to be working well.
This app is like using a cheese grater to fill a bucket of water. It does not work and if it does it just sends you 10,000 notifications about how your truck is not going to be there at the time said in the previous 10,000 notifications.
This won't update. I keep pressing the update button. And going to app to open. And nothing so now I can't get when my delivery is supposed to happen. APP Needs to be fixed! Every two weeks this happens and is very annoying.
Crashes often. Says to exit app and update but no option TO update. Fix your app, Sysco...or just get rid of it. Oh..and when the app says your truck is in my parking lot but it's an hour away...yeah, fix that too.
older version actually worked! when i could login with my store code and password it worked great, it was a great tool to have. then it updated and requires an email. should have left the option to use the same login as esysco and not the email thing
Totally worthless. It tells me my truck has arrived when its literally hours away yet. Was told others having same issue. Also told to stop using it till problems are fixed. Maybe do a little more testing before releasing the app to your customers. And if the best you can do is a 4 hour window, don't even bother. You might as well say, "You will get your truck whenever we get it to you."
App is great when it works. Not so great when it requires an update every month. I get messages telling me to click the link in the email. The email never comes. Right now I can't use this app at all.
so far so good. got 2 deliveries. it updates every time there's a change in delivery window so it gets more accurate as it gets closer to delivery time.
Junk. Always crashing and instructing me to exit the app and reload to save settings. Don't waste your time. Zero stars should be an option.
This logs you when not used every few days. Upon trying to log back in, it tells you wrong password. When changing password, it says you can't use the old password. Seriously? If it takes me an hour to deal with the issues on this, I don't need it.
Great so far....seeing the truck location is kind of cool but would actually be MORE helpful if it showed how many stop points in between. In most areas distance doesnt equate to time.
I have to update this app every 2 or 3 days. I can't see my delivery times unless I get a notification. Could be a great app but it isn't. Unless you need to know your delivery time, do not install. Just annoy your sales representatives!!
Same issue as people have been reporting for months! Not compatible with all phones? I have deleted the app. I tried to get help from Sysco and was unsuccessful. Super disappointed.
This app does not play nicely with small screens (cannot scroll or pinch to zoom on forms when the user needs to enter text and the pop-up keyboard covers everything). Does not support using multiple accounts at a time. The predicted delivery window is always off by several hours... until the truck is literally right outside, that is. The GPS/truck-location map shows impossible swings of up to 100 miles in mere minutes (usually it is pretty close, but when it's off it is way off).
