After the update widget is not showing all the smart configuration which I made, it's getting disappeared automatically (updated) what happened to the widget it's not available now.
Why is the widget removed all of a sudden?! Totally breaks the ease of use now, please bring it back! Hopefully with support for resizing the widget.
1) Erratic behaviour. If you're lucky, tapping on the lights will get you to the color settings. If you're not lucky (80% of the time) it sends you on a loop of the app home screen 2) Scenes are not supported as Alexa skills, means you can't set a voice command or an automation where the led bulb colors transition from one color to another 3) Please don't call the app or the bulb smart. I'd rather use a physical switch to control all of this unless these basic things are fixed. Disappointed 👎
The app does basic stuff. It should atleast have an option store the previous state of the device, brightness, colour etc. I had turned off the bulbs using the app, however in the event of a power outage in the middle of the night all the lights were back on, which is bad. Sonoff and Philips have an option to check for the previous state of the device. If this feature gets added i will definitely rerate.
Horrible if you have multiple networks in house. The device gets disconnected from the app, and does all sorts of irritating things, like taking forever to switch on, comes online in colored mode and not operable through app. I had to go back to standard bulbs which actually did what I want them to. The bluetooth connections never work. Doent work on 5ghz network..had a really bad experience.
The light disconnected in the middle of the night and started blinking. I just wasn't able to reconnect it to the app and get it to turn off. A disconnected state should be represented by something better than harsh white light blinking on repeat. There can be safeguards to prevent this from happening in the middle of the night.
Excellent app, that is very easy to set up and it has a lot of features. And believe me, I have worked with many such apps and this one came out as the leader in all aspects. The best part is that it works well with both Alexa and Google Home. For those facing difficulties in setting up the Syska smart LED bulb in the app, select LIGHTING under add a device. Make sure you have a strong wi-fi signal. Also make sure that both the smart bulb and your smartphone are on the same WiFi network.
I dunno why people are saying setup is tough and all that. The reviews are very misleading, making me think whether to purchase or not. I purchased this from Amazon yesterday and it got delivered today. We need to keep the power switched ON. Connect to 2.4Ghz WiFi. Physically perform ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON, and in few seconds, the bulb will start blinking. Confirm and proceed. That's it.
Wasted 1500/- for 2 Smart Bulbs, and both bulb stopped working.. Really will never select Syska again.

Everything works but needs a little tinkering. Please simplify the app. too big to eyes. adopt material design and make it useful. Startup page is so cluttered. Left is filled with words, right side is all vacant. U really need to check your design. Also I couldn't find a way to changeit with music/tempo. please make something innovative. The lights are really bright and colourful. The app is poorly designed.
Worst experience in this update slow working when wifi signal is good condition
Do you even read the comments? You should change the touch response, The app should let me touch a spot on the line and let me chose the brightness and cool, Sliding it everytime makes no sense when the other way around is definitely possible, I should be able to customise the the speed of change of color in some certain scenes. It is not convenient to use, I had a different Interface before and now after a replacement, suddenly the interface has changed!
Ever since I downloaded the syska app I have started getting tons of pop ups advertisements on my phone. This is really frustrating, the advert pops while making calls, reading messages and even take pics. The producworks fine but the app bundled along with it is definitely a headache, I will never recommend this product anyone. Its an headache dealing with the app.
Widget controls don't work in Samsung. App takes too much time to load. Bulb gets disconnected frequently regardless of being connected to 100mbps internet. Reconnect or reset is only short term. Even if led is on... app says it's off. How can one move to smart home if the lights don't work properly.
Turns on randomly! Worked really well for a few months but then suddenly the light has started to turn on automatically, I eventually ended up unplugging it at night. Hopefully there's a software update that fixes this issue.
And couldn't connect the Light Bulb (BLE) feature. turn on the Bluetooth but didn't connect. That is, it doesn't allow to control the light bulb unless you have a wifi. The product didn't have warm light and Cool light feature although it was mentioned online.
There's an option to choose power on behaviour. But I cannot select anything. Defaults to original color. Pathetic experience. All other bulb manufacturers have last state remember feature. You have given, but can't turn on? What non sense. Please update soon.
Either the app is useless or the bulb is. Tried to connect the bulb with app too many time but still nothing. The it started showing offline but still nothing. Initialisation always fails. Checked the internet for advice and tried everything.... Still useless. Exchanged item but still doesnt work... Soo umm yeah wastage of time effort and money
It's a garbage!! Simply Garbage!! I need a WiFi router in order to configure the smart LED bulb. Even after the configuration, i have to connect with WiFi router to use this LED. Most of us (Indians) not fortune enough to use LAN and WiFi network. So you guys should consider configuring using wifi direct or hotspot. Another issue with this garbage is, the schedule feature only have on / off only. I can't schedule the lighting settings in schedule. So shove this garbage in your a** syska.
It's been over six months of usage. I have an Echo Dot (2nd Gen) and I am still enjoying asking to change my bedroom light colour according to my mood. But a recent app update about 2 weeks back has delayed the app controls. It is taking time for the LED bulb's Common Functions to open. I'm having to close and open the app several time. But there was no problem at all before this update. My phone is a RealMe 2 Pro and it's system software is updated as well. Fix this bug soon please.
Use less app and bulb. Always connects after closing and restarting the app, sometimes bright white light blinks and could not connect through app. Have to switch off on On multiple times. And develop more widgets with options.
I bought this smart bulb for its reliable and reputable company name, but I find it not that useful when it comes to functionality of the bulb in coordination with the app. Wipro smart bulb offers more options and customization. I figured since both of you are using the same platform to coordinate with apps, it would be wise to include if not improve and enhance the present features for this app.
Overall good experience, good UI and decent looking app but pairing could be easier as it took me about 10 min taking the bulb from one point to another, resetting it etc. Once it is paired it is a good experience though. Google home doesn't work with this though which is very disappointing as that is the reason I bought the bulb. Devs please fix this.
Bulb and mobile should be connected to the same WiFi. You won't be able to connect bulb through your mobile's hotspot alone. You will require two mobile devices, one for making hotspot and the other for controlling syska app]. If there is no internet on WiFi, your LED bulb will show as offline. Syska, please add Bluetooth connectivity feature on all WiFi enabled devices as an alternate way to connect and please add more functionality like music sync, blinking patterns, auto dimming, alarm blink.
The smart bulb worked properly for sometime and now it just flickers all the time, sometimes the colors don't even change and sometimes it changes colors on it own, first thought it was a really great purchase, now feels like a waste of money, the app is also very slow and has loads of small issues which needs to be fixed ASAP
App is pretty good, there should be an option to change the power on state of the light, ON/OFF/KEEP the last state. Every time the power goes off and comes back the light comes ON even when it was turned off in app. please add this feature.
Widget removal is just dumb. Just to switch the device on/off I have to suffer through the clunkiness of the complete app. Complete garbage update.
