Some people are suspicious about permissions used in apps. As System Info For Android use a lot of them, here are some explanations:
- android.permission.INTERNETUsed for ads and also for bugs tracking. A request can also be made to my server to check if a new version is available.
- android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATEUsed to read telephony informations for the System tab.
- android.permission.ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATIONUsed by ads.
- android.permission.READ_LOGSUsed to read logs for the Logs tab.
- android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATEUsed, in the System tab, to access network informations.
- android.permission.GET_PACKAGE_SIZEUsed to know applications informations, for Application Manager tab.
- android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGEUsed to write logs to the sdcard.
- android.permission.ACCESS_WIFI_STATEUsed to read wifi informations.
-android.permission.RESTART_PACKAGESUsed when you try to stop task..
-android.permission.CAMERAUsed to read camera informations. On some devices(like the motorola droid), accessing to camera info will make some sound.

Looks great, but Tasks doesn't work on Android 8.1 - only shows itself, perhaps security model has changed..
All in all a very nice app, however, it hasn't yet been updated for use on Android 9. This should've happened already. You need to up your game when it comes to timely updates, dev.
Good app for device info, fun little widget too. Unfortunately it always caused an alert for background use so I uninstalled it.

Hi am interested about this rate app
it confirms that my icraig andriod slimbook is on a very hollow middle ground having a 1.2ghz I only found one core called an ARMv7 and 512MB of ram, things it confirmed was this has no touch-screen"easy to fig" and no sensors what so ever it really doesn't do anything outside of run on andriod with audio hdmi camera and usb with a laptop layout.. I knew what I was buying when I got this but 512MB of ram kills about any task
I previously used this app with my Samsung Galaxy S5 & I liked that I could view my remaining phone storage amount, as well as the amount of space left on my SD card. Now that I have a Samsung Galaxy S7, I can no longer see the amount of space remaining on my SD card with your app, even tho it shows that stat in the pictures from the app in the Google Play Store. Is there some reason you know of that would explain why I can't see that info anymore? Thanks!
It's fun just to check out the info about what's happening in there, behind my phone's screen. Of course, I don't have a clue how I might need/use said info, but who cares? I could be playing solitaire instead, and why not waste time this way for a change of pace? 👍 So far so good, if it starts acting up I'll revise this review

The widget suppose to open the app when tapped, but most of the times it doesn't work, especially when u haven't restarted ur phone for a while
The task list only shows the app itself - does not show any of the other talks running in the phone. Unable to view or kill any other tasks. (Samsung Galaxy S4)
Very nice app but the things explained are little technical. And one thing is missing is that what is screen size of my phone
File size is too large. Main screen is very easy for anyone to read. Additional screens provide more detailed info
So far the best. Best UI and accuracy so far. Also, the most information. Will update my preference when I discover the keeper.
Everything shown by this app ìs already available, but here it its presented in easy to see format. One view gives plenty of info.
Unfortunately for me the last "logs" button doesn t work. It starts loading and never finishes with no error or exception mentioned.
Need to find a way to remove system applications that are unnecessary for me and my phones space!!! Fix it I'll give star it!!

"Heaven Sent" Any information you need about your device is right at your fingertips; Super simple too navigate period...
This gives a lot of detailed information. It seems to give more info than CPU-Z for Android. I can use it to find out the features of my CPUs such as vfp support or neon support, etc. which is useful in getting the most out of MX Player, etc.
This app is good for advance users. But for non techies it would be difficult to look for need simple information. A summarized version or tab would be good.
Good, but can not access in app menu features (including app settings, refresh, etc) when used on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S running standard Marshmallow os. Please fix this for five stars, thank you.

This app is great. I have been using this app since gingerbread. It kept updating with new features and device support (not that it has any problem that I know of) but stopped for last few years. Don't know why. The app shows all the information in a concise manner. I hope the developer is well and alive. Wish him best of luck. If not, RIP buddy! You did a great job.
