Creates notifications but doesn't go to the announcement when selected. Has terrible MasterCard redirects (ads) from the home screen which opens up your browser. Scrolling isn't smooth and the filter lags out. If it wasn't of use, I wouldn't use it. Hire someone else next year! edit: oh and it constantly pops up asking for a review so here you go
It's seriously a very helpful tool. Frequently are arriving automatic updates. There are - almost - up to date information about lineup, schedule, notifications, artists, happenings and maps. But, there are also some artists without a single letter description; events, which are cancelled, but not deleted from the schedule; etc. Very useful add is, that you get the opportunity to mark your favorite artists, programs and make your own schedule this way. It's a big add to the festival feeling!
Frustrating at times. The app overall was very useful. Unfortunately once opened from the background it would be stuck loading endlessly which meant the app had to be closed fully and then reopened which in turn caused multiple tabs to be opened in chrome, which pushed the app to the background, starting the cycle again.
topping up is usefull , but you cannot use it in airplane mode because you need to wait for the mastercard logo to show up and this requires internet ? i would like to preserve power when wandering around the island, this app is not helping. this means that everytime i want to discover something new on sziget (which is a lot) i get annoyed. frustrating experience.
Practical app to check out the schedule, find out a bit more about an artists and their top songs and to check and top up your wristband. Some improvements could be made to the map (more interactive, more complete with POIs) and the annoying master card popup (could be turned off after x amount if time or only once per day).
amazing festival and decent app but map could be more detailed. it's pretty easy to get lost at sziget so i found myself referring to the map often. the venues are marked with hearts and you have to tap them to see the names. i wish you could zoom in and see the names without tapping. if you want to find a specific venue tou can go to venues and then show on map which is ok. also it would be handy to show toilets for campers only in a different colour. schedule is perfect and search works well
Schedule view isn't very user friendly. Having to scroll along both horizonally and vertically some huge sheet makes it really difficult to find who when and where. Would be better to have option for the schedule in an alternative view per stage and swipe between them and have it alloe you to add your artists to your personal schedule so you can know where to go and when.
The app tells you to pre-load money onto the wristband and then makes this money unavailable for a full night. Edit [Response to the reply]: The other features were useful, but they were significantly over shadowed by the fact that I now have to wait roughly weeks to get refunded for money I couldn't use. Upon going to one of the help desks within the festival, it was apparent that this issue was common and simply an error in the app/festipay/wristband system.
gets very slow when you mark events in the schedule view. After marking 10+ events it is nearly frozen. If you switch to a different menu, then back to schedule then performance is ok again - until you start marking events again, when it slows down the same way.
edit: the app works fine. finding the info you need is somewhat unintuitive. connection with festipay is useful. the way the app pushes you to rate it is very annoying.
Wristband top up/viewer stopped working at the end of day 1. Support advised theyre aware and trying to resolve (just keep trying). Have had to queue and manually top up each day. Hopefully it gets fixed as it was very handy
really good layout, easy to use. wish I didnt have to use my mobile data to see the acts scheduled all of the time - an offline schedule would be handy
The app is really useful, I like the notifications, but I had trouble with adding a wristband as it didn't want to work with a registered account.
Always tries to open the web browser. Acts that have been starred should be a different color in the schedule to easily see them. Reply: Remove MasterCard pop up or at least give an option to close it early. Preferably remove the pop up.
The wristband part in the app is not working (saldo is always zero and recharge doesn't work)... And I hate the add at the beginning. please put it somewhere else
wow this app is amazing so informative so bright and easy to use very nice interface. spectacular, i am simply amazed by the design of this app. i am about to attend the next festival and i've got all the information i need. as the scouts say always be prepared. see you at the fes guys (especially looking forward for you hot chicas) :D
Easy to use and understand. Super helpful for finding the festival set times for different days and artists.
Resourceful and easy to follow. Love the maps and live gos as well as the top off features.
Generally fantastic - particularly the scheduler and the wristband payment functionality. The massive MasterCard advert is infuriating though and is an annying smudge on an otherwise 5 star app.
unpleasant experience when topping up the festival wristband with funds. the card was set to "invalid" status and couldn't be used unless we supposedky went to the "Help Desk" all the way to the festival entrance. not about to miss a concert for a defective wristband machanism.
Useful app. Though I had a small issue with topping up initially, as I bought various day tickets. It was eventually sorted.
App was great help. Used the schedule, map and discover functions repeatedly.
Potentially add the option to check the Love Revolution missions somehow aswell? Otherwise super useful!
there's a super annoying commercial every time I open the app. would not recommend.
grate navigation through the territory of the festival, convenient shedule timetable, have option "favorite artists") good notification system
Wristband part doesn't work. No history, no overview of registered wristbands. (On Nokia 8)
Love the App, easy to use. I especially love tha wristband option and the daily lineup.
very useful app if you are going to the festival. I would have given it 5 stars but the map is rubbish
Really stupid MasterCard ad that shows up every time you open the app. I don't want the app running in the background to waste battery on my phone. Because of the setup of the ad, you almost always end up pressing it. Good for line ups of acts and notifications so that you don't miss the act though!
