T-Mobile Play

Pretty cool Easter egg that comes preinstalled on most T-Mobile devices. The main drawback even though it's not always compatible. (They just blanket installed it) nice thing is, unlike other bloatware this one is Uninstallable yay thank you. But I'm not Uninstalling it because it's free live TV on your phone Not a great selection of channels but there are a few gems. Also you can set reminders and my favorite parts alarm clock mode to wake you up with a specific channel and sleep timer.

Found this, pre installed, No sign in required, has an uninstall button. Worked ok, though playback is a little glitchy. NOT "ON Demand", except for featured clips, no playback controls. Several unknown channels, a few familiar ones. Not a lot of content, for ME. 4* just for being available, but really only a 3* app because it doesn't work as advertised. Search returned "No Results" even when I copied the "Holiday Movies" search from the ad, or the title I was actually watching at the moment

Your app is truly a pleasure to turn to when I can't find YouTube Music in my phone; it's almost as good as having the ideal musical user experience at your fingertips while being slightly better because of the well-placed and compelling content. Yours Truly, not Bill Jeff Clint, not 2k19, but somebody who can look pretty decent at trying to care. (Also I didn't remember I had this app, can you please make more fun magenta apps so I can think about Blues Clues on my phone when I feel like it :))

I'd love to be able to use the app and check out some of its content, but I'm unable to even launch it at all. When I press the icon, it opens and closes in under one second. I've been with TMobile since 2002, I use a TMobile locked Note 10+ running official software, I've force stopped it and cleared the app's data in device settings, uninstalled, reinstalled. I don't know why I would have expected this one to be any different than any other TMobile branded app.

The expanded and improved technology, that you've made, have made it so much easier in navigating throughout the many facets offered in this phone. Too low volume output. Even on a BT speaker. But YT play just at correct audio level. Was searching for Pluto on Binge, stumbled upon TMplay. Not bad, but quality of experience is dramatically hampered with such low audio output and can only rotate to landscape in a single direction. Will check back with y'all in a few months. Hope it is fixed by then.

I haven't dealt with already existing situation in now a new version of more unknowns. First, I didn't see anywhere how much it was going to cost me? Second, before I start ✓ boxes on interests I'd like to know is it going to disturb me in the future, I am already paying for unwanted calls by the hundreds and I fear the use of service will definitely upend that charge? Thirdly, I am maxed out at two lines and taxes, scams, $5 extra because I am always late, and bill over $100.

Great technical support for the most part of the time. The main focus is getting a bit more private and the rest of the timeing. Watch on update for the new and technology side of the application needs help.

I had no idea T-Mobile Play was installed on my Revillry+ phone until I was looking at a phone comparison review. It's like having news, video and other items easily accessable. I really like this app, although it is similar to Yahoo and AOL services-but easier and streamlined.

I Love my T-Mobile experience, in Store, on Line, Messaging, & esp. with my payments, it's all been so wonderfully easy, but the app truely SUCK'S ! I haven't been able to watch a thing, the movies are old, I"ve never watched a news program for a full 2 1/2 min. without somekind of stall, &/or crash. The app takes up a lot of un Nessary space that I could really use. QUANDRY ... To do, or, not to do..... It's hard to rate 5 Stars for T-Mobile Service 0 for the app.

It does what it promises to do, but the interface is trash and the audio quality is horrible. There are many areas that it could improve in terms of functionality, but I would prefer to see those improvements because I genuinely enjoy having both live and interactive television on my phone.

I'm so glad that I'm back with T-Mobile again because y'all have great friendly people as y'all staff and they are very polite and nice but except one I wouldn't give him any 10's for my survey but him. He was very bad communication with him and he needs to watch alot more videos about T-Mobile people well being and stuff. He was not my favorite person to talk to in a bad and a frustrating me so bad that I really hung up the telephone while he talked.

This is nothing but bloatware. It would be great to be able to uninstall it and save myself some space on an already crowded phone. I did try it out and was less than impressed. In fact it almost seems like they put more effort into guaranteeing that I could not uninstall this software then they get into making the software good.

The app functions perfectly, but the selection of the shows and movies makes it a worthless download. If this app had more of the popular content that is available on other streaming platforms, perhaps it wouldn't be as bad.

i like most of videos. news, vevo music, entertainment, and afv. but the movies should be better categorize. for instance, the app has pretty nice bible movies, it should be categorized as spirituality or biography, not just name them episode 1, episode 2, epi3 without any movie name or title. the app should better categorize the movies as recently added new movies, eeitor's choices, action, mystery, sci-fi, documentary, comedy,..etc. and will be nice to send notification when new movies added.

Add the ability to cast and/or Roku and Android TV apps. I don't watch long form content on my mobile device so until I can cast the content to a larger screen, this service is of no use. Also this is powered by Xumo, which is free, supports casting, and has Roku and Android TV apps. So why would we use this over Xumo?

Unable to completely uninstall this app which I did not want and never will want on MY phone. Every time I uninstall it, it reinstalls without my authorization. It is MALWARE. How would TMobile like it if I installed malwar on something they bought and on, free and clear? This practice creates DISTRUST of the new T-Mobile.

This is the best app that I have ever used. Nothing out classes it on the entire phone catalog and I am completely blown away by the immense proportion of its stellar and life-changing content.

I really don't use this app enough. I get Netflix free with my Tmobile Magenta Max account but there are so many times that I only have a few minutes especially waiting for a bus and want to watch something quick. I used to use YouTube a lot but have been transitioning to Tmobile Play.

T-Mobile has the greatest uninterrupted service that I've ever experienced, having used other carriers. there is really no comparison as far as I'm concerned. great unlimited data service with a hot spot service for no additional cost. that's perfect for me and my family. T-Mobile no doubt!

New Review Update. 05.28.2021 finally a t-mobile app that works well enough (so far) programming needs more movie channels and screen NEEDS TO AUTO ROTATE while user is watchng on tablets. also app NOT selecting other channels while watching channel playing those problems need fix. t.y.

This just makes me unhappy with T-Mobile as a company. First you add this and enable by default on my new device. Then you tell me my "Setup is incomplete", so naturally one would want to complete the setup of their new phone. Then you proceed to try and get demographic out of the customer. Then you list out 20 apps that you think are "relevant" to me (which they were not. Most likely they are companies that paid you to promote them.) You offer the user the ability to select these apps for install (with a checkbox that is defaulted to unchecked). THEN you give no way to move forward with clicking the word "Install" and this is where you blow it completely. You proceed to install all of the recommended, even though they are UNCHECKED! You took my trust, shat on it, then GAVE ME THE FINGER worse than any proctologist could ever. This is completely despicable and your product owner should be fired on the spot for not only attempting this, but pushing it through.

0/stars=Tmobile has done a complete 180° in their treatment of long time customers. Nearly 10yrs of using their network because I thought they were the opp of Verizon. They were overcharging me for 7 mon and dragged their feet to resolve the situation and tried to extort me by refusing to refund the admitted overpayment of nearly $800 unless I commit to a new contract and only offered to refund the money in the form of account credits.They refused to refund the account on autopay. 👎👎

Such a variety of great shows and without commercials. Just 1 brief ads where multiple commercials would play. TY

Had it for 20 seconds. Before I even had the chance to explore the app, it began hitting me with annoying video commercials that couldn't be paused or stopped. Just... NO.

it seems to have some interesting shows but I know I'm probably never gonna use it because there's no option for picture in picture. my phone is my computer at times and I have to be able to multitask.

I want to disable this app. I don't need, pre last night's auto Factory Reset which I did not authorize and lost all of my Data, I was able to disable this. Now I can't.

Fast and reliable access to streaming content. Good option when looking for something new

I only have one word to give to T-Mobile, and that word is Chromecast! I will give you five stars for your app if you add Chromecast to it.

Very nice to have. Friendly interface. It has news, technology, some music from 80' and so much more interesting channels that makes your phone a useful TV.
