High-intensity interval training (HIIT), also called high-intensity intermittent exercise (HIIE) or sprint interval training (SIT), is a form of interval training, an exercise strategy alternating short periods of intense anaerobic exercise with less-intense recovery periods. Clean design, no ads, good sounds and ability to add own workout parameter sets. Sometimes the background process does not exit gracefully and it shows an App crashed modal. This is a little annoying. Also, like other users already pointed out, there's currently no option to name the different exercises (e.g. sit ups, lunges, etc). That would be nice in conjunction with the TTS feature.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Customized timers, simple, adds a break between reps, clearly understood voice directions. I paid the premium price so I can add more timers. A small price to pay for a great app. I also appreciate that the vibrate feature is in sync with the actual timer. I tried three others before finding this app and they were all horrible in that area.

Makes my HIIT/Tabata/Boxing workouts so much easier. I don't have to keep looking at my phone, I can just keep going until the bell (well, in my case beep)!! I've tried a few timers and this is a great one, simple to use, and you can set up multiple different timers for different workouts so you just pick from your list for that day's workout. Good stuff!

The BEST workout timer! Have tried many workout apps and this is one of the best! It has everything one needs. Not too many apps can offer so much without being bloated with unnecessary features. This Timer has lovely interface and is light, fast, and stable. Highly customizable, has programmable sets, warmup, cool, and ability to use with or without countdown sounds along with voice. Another super feature is the ability to link multiple workouts without having to start each one separately.

I have downloaded all the apps of this kind and this is the only one that lets you choose to change so many things about your workout. It works even if you lock the phone and the commands given are very pleasant and not annoying. Give you time to start workout before ringing and helps you train 100%. For me it is the best and I don't write such reviews so often.

The app performs much to my expectation. I would suggest a few minor personal improvement. Allow the app to change allow the timer to change playlist during Warm Up, Workout, Relax and the other timers in order to change the mood. This for me works well when I needed more choice energetic musics to motivate me. Second suggection is allow users to change the last 5 seconds and the times up sound effect to something else like the boxing bell. Sometimes I was so into the workout I couldn't hear.

It is not possible to do any of the settings, when I go to the menu and select settings for example, the screen returns with a smooth transition back to the start screen. The same when I choose menu/ user profile. Actually I tested all options in the menu, the same happens, after whatever I select within menu it returns to the start screen. Very unfortunate.

Great timer, eay to set up rounds, rests and breaks between sets for circuit training/tabata/hiit etc. I was pleasantly surprised to find I could not only rename each set to remind me what comes next in the circuit, the voice will do text to speech and read out what is coming next! Thats awesome. I also use it for guitar practice, to warm up and go through various finger and picking drills. Lost a star because cannot get import/export to work to put timers on my tablet.

Pretty frustrating. The timer will constantly stutter and be inaccurate, my time will hang on a second and then jump up 4 seconds at the end of sets, making my sets all messy as I'm expecting the countdown ticks to be even, but they all just jam out at once. Since the whole point of this app is to be a countdown timer and it fails to do that 9/10 consistently, 2 stars. Will put to 5 if this is fixed.

(UPDATE 2) The app has stopped syncing with Google Fit. Nothing I have done has resolved the issue.(Update)The Bluetooth functionality seems to be broken with my phones update to Android 11(Original) I find this suits my needs well. The Google Fit integration is nice. I might like some greater control over the timer settings, but for now this has been great.

I've used this app nearly daily for nine months. I love it. I love that it's customizable, easy to name sets and exercises, runs alongside music (doesn't pause my music every time a set/exercise changes). I use it for everything from Hiit cardio and abs to timed weight training. I can't imagine my fitness routine without it.

It's a great app fore sure, but with some limitations that should be addressed by developer. 1) no stats or graphs, to show a weekly, monthly or yearly graph on how much I've exercised based on time I used the app. 2) if I change/manipulate the name of group (let's say :: group new) , all of the belonging exercises within the group does not change their group name(that is :: group old). This create contradiction and thus all of the exercises don't show up after group's name changed.

A really customisable app! Can change the number of seconds to count down, whether it marks the halfway point, the sounds for each sectuon... The paid version requires only a one off payment at a reasonable price, giving even more flexibility and options! The best exercise timer I've used yet!

This app is very cool but I wish there was a way to disable the "Set" and "Rep" audio. Also if there was an option to set an alert for a certain amount of time left like "Halfway there" "30 seconds left" before the next set or relax/break/cool down.

great app i use when i teach my classes. only downside is they changed it to not lower the volume in rest period so you can't always here what the next rep is. used to have this feature and it was fab. other than that awesome ap and easy to use. great i can upload my own music to work within the app.

Been using this app for over a year now and it does exactly what I'm looking for. Simple to use and set up if you put a bit of effort in. I was having trouble with the app not responding in sleep mode but works great now after adjusting the battery optimization.

Really nice app. Clear ui, easy to use. What is miss thou is to change order of reps after I added names to them. I would love the ability to change rep name in a second and other sets as I love to customize reps in sets. Also I would prefer to hear the name of the rep just before is starts instead always 'get ready' as I need to keep and eye on the screen when the delay was longer.

Too nice. There is an option to upgrade for advqnced features, however the free version shows NO ads AT ALL and does not force prompt you to uograde.
