I have installed this app in my tablets and always is better than the preinstalled one. Excellent options for customizing but very simple to use.
I like this app. It allows you to make the keys bigger which makes typing easier and faster with fewer mistakes. I would like to see the addition of capitalization at the beginning of a new sentence, spelling suggestions, and the ability to save regularly used words. But even without these features I find this app to be very useful, easy to use and would recommend it for anyone who does a lot of typing.
i like this keyboard because it is more precise in letter selection than the google keyboard. i spent so much time with correcting typing errors such as it inserted an n every time i used the space bar. With this keyboard i can type faster with a lot fewer corrections. i may even upgrade to the paid version so it will autocorrect things like a capital i. have had no problems. the only reason i gave it 4 stars is the lack of basic emoticons.
i have this on both my tablet and SIII. Its fine on the tablet, but SIII i will be uninstalling when i have the time to sit down and try others. The space bar is next to impossible to just space without hitting v or c for some reason. the bar is plenty wide but for some reason i look back to see no space and one long word. i spend more time deleting which is also a hassle as the backspace or delete key is tucked too tight between the p and enter keys. over all the best keyboard with no lag and nice look.
This should be layedout like a normal laptop keyboard. Instead, gigantic keys take up space where the appropriate keys should be. If the keys were just 20% smaller the quotes and semicolon keys could fit where they belong (just before the enter key). Clearly, this keyboard is not made for people who know how to type. This is only a tablet keyboard by name; certainly not design. Space bars often don't ad a space. Keys are so big that it makes it impossible to type and even more space is wasted by two large empty spaces next to the spacebars. BTW, I had to type this 3 times because the keyboard closes and message disappears if I touch outside of the keyboard.
I was really getting sick of all the stripped-down keyboards made for phones, or just people that only text and don't know how to use punctuation or capitols. This is great. it has all the characters, redily available as they would be on a computer keyboard. You don't spend your life shifting or switching to symbol or function mode. This would definitely have been a 5 star, if it had just had the mic button for speech to text. Other than that, it's perfect.
I use English - PROPER English. So having an actual keyboard at my fingertips with all the punctuation marks included is absolutely wonderful! Never again will I settle for one of those cut-down keyboards designed for texting; three to four steps to get commonly-used punctuation marks on a secondary set of keys? No thank you! This app is in an all new league for writing on the go. :)
Even though this is supposed to be for tablets, even at 50% smaller size the keys are too large and the keyboard takes up too much space on my screen ... the same amount as the native app on my Nexus 7. The split keyboard layout takes up more room rather than less... and no gesture typing. SwiftKey is not great on tablet but seems to be my only option right now. Let me know if you make this keyboard more compact (preferably less than full screen width for one-hand typing) and I will happily come back!!
Have the pro version and having trouble pulling it up in an app. Also would like voice op
At last a keyboard with defined keys instead of letters and numbers on plain background. Like the other functions too. LOVE IT. RECOMENDED
It uses less RAM and processor than the default Android kryboard. The split keyboard is a bit confusing at first but after a little practice is the solution the world has long been waiting for. Finally one can type with thumbs in landscape orientation.
Been using since few days, takes time getting used to this new layout.. but it makes things really easy. kudos to developer
To much trouble to use. Certain options (auto capitalizations) not enabled on free app.
Very Fast and responsive. Stock Google keyboard lagged badly. Thought because i purchased a mid priced 10 inch slate was the problem. It was Googles keyboard. Now my Tab is ultra responsive like it should be. Thx
WHEN LETTERS ALSO HAVE NUMBERS OR SYMBOLS GOOGLE MIXES THEM UP. NOT WITH THIS KEYBOARD. NEEDS VOICE/TEXT
this fixes the normal delay from the stock keyboard. almost as smooth as the (yuck) iPad
I love it. Simple yet great in use. The thing i love the most is the choice it has to suit our desire of typing. The numerical and caps buttons are great.
Absolutely love this keyboard. Especially that it doesnt require any invasive rights to my personal data. The only thing its missing are the up/down/left/right arrow keys.
Cool needs floating toggle keys center of top tool bar self labeled holds emoji groups by selection selected= the to the the abouts=
the color scheme is nice the spacing is perfect and the key placement makes sense...thats all anyone should need for a keyboard
How on Earth are we supposed to use the stock keyboard without an apostrophe? That's a pretty important character and putting it under a shift seems daft. So I love this keyboard, although I could do without the split in the space bar.
cannot find the search or go symbol. Like it much better than the asus keyboard. Couldn't see anything on the asus keyboard.
Pleased with this keyboard it seem very responsive and smooth on my Galaxy 10.1 note. Like it better than any of the others I have tried previously. Hopefully it will keep working as it is now.
I have the uncanny feeling that someone designed this keyboard just for me. All pros, no cons.
The keyboard is superb. Tried many. None were as good and as easy to use than this. Likes the split keyboard option too. Recommended.
This is a great basic keyboard - no frills or thrills. It uses significantly less memory and storage, so it is great for lower end devices. Thanks folks!
