Tablet Messenger

Like other people have been saying, it's got huge problems. Can't add attachments. Freezes and lags. Has to be force stopped and cache cleared multiple times a day. Reinstalling doesn't fix the problem. Emails to support are ignored. Was functional until about a month ago.

Gone from bad to useless. Since latest upgrade (adding not wanted wifi connection) takes ages to load then constantly freezes, requiring complete tablet restarts. If only there was an alternative.

Lately the app is hanging when the keyboard moves up the screen. It has become unusable. I hope it can be fixed soon. It used to work very well.

The ability to send photos has developed a fault and doesn't work. Tried reinstalling to no improvement.

This app has just started to freeze during typing messages. Requires force stop and restart. lease update. Thanks.

This app has become very slow and unstable. I don't think it's reacting well with my operating system. I like this app and Like it to work better.

This app's new update is horrible the connectivity too the phone is too week now that i will hv log out and log in again wich totally make me disappointed and second of all whenever i click anything in this aap it atleast take 5-4 sec too click it...i would suggest too update this aap again with quick response taking and quick phone connectivity... I gave one star cuz it was compulsory otherwise i wouldn't hv give give evn one star kindly fix it soon as possible...

Can't attach anything on a Samsung tab s8 and the software is slow and clunky, just a poor solution to be honest

Experiencing heavy lagging ever since I changed to the new Samsung tablet Ultra 8. Before I changed the app was working wonderfully.

It's functional, useful. But prolonged use will cause the app to lag a lot. Please fix.

The app is okay, but the paid options include a 'lite' version that can't be upgraded to the full version and costs almost as much - so you end up having to pay twice if you buy lite without realising that it has no features and it only stays 'pro' for 12 months. Either scrap the lite version or allow it to be upgraded, expensive for a subscription. If you're only using WhatsApp (like me), then "What's Web" is a much better value option

Waste of time. After 2 messages to 2 different contacts it freezes and you have to start all over again. And if you type at a normal speed it takes up to 15 seconds to display your phrase. And don't even think of using special characters: it just freezes again. Uninstalled. Hasta la vista!!!

I prefer using Google maps in my car instead of the built in Navi in the car. But I can't drive with this version as 1/ The writing on the screen makes it impossible to read the screen details. 2/ I always have a passenger. To use the app I have to agree not to share the map with anyone. 3/ trying to make phone calls is impossible as the app doesn't respond to my voice.

No notifications when in the background. While it is still a great app, you can login multiple messenger accounts in one app, especially for a tablet. But the lack of background notifications has made a not smooth experience for me. Maybe you can fix it, thanks in advance.

lags a lot and would hang, i wish it would work like it says. still looking for a good alternative

An excellent App. Have used it for about 3 Weeks now and found it to be faultless. However, it says to upgrade for all bells and whistles and removal of adverts a one of payment of $5.49. is required, which is absolutely misleading as it only removes the adverts for 12 months, then you have to pay again. Hence removal of 2 stars. In final reply. If you have to pay every year to have the additional features it is an Annual Payment or Subscription. Under no circumstances is it a one of payment.

I only tested with Whatsapp and it basically sets up and looks the same as if you were running it in a browser. Not a bad thing since you get better notifications and you don't have to keep your browser running in the background. So why only give it 3 stars? Because I find the way that they did ads incredibly annoying and you can't purchase to remove them permanently, only for 12 months. It's a subscription hiding as a purchase and that, to me, is unacceptable.

I Skype keyboard doesn't work. Down to 1 star because of this extremely annoying advertising. Permanent onscreen and video. With allegedly over half a million downloads one should think this was not really necessary. It becomes scam-like especially as one can observe that bugs are not attended to. Also, the app is very heavy and slow. And, you only get the chat option. No phone or video connections. Unfortunately there does not seem to exist alternatives for tablets.

Any app that requires a subscription gets an automatic 1 star! I know I'm going to get a developer response saying there is no subscription, but no ads for only 12 months, then pay for that again, is a subscription, no matter how you word it. For those wondering, there actually is an alternative (pay once, for real), only I cannot say what it is by name or my review will be removed. Search for Apps Browser and read the descriptions (or look for my review).

It worked the first few days, freezing and lagging from time to time. I deleted it the first time when it started blasting commercials on full volume, somehow overriding my silent mode. Downloaded it again thinking I must have made a mistake somewhere. Noup. It did it again AND freezed over, while blasting the sound of the commercial. Was a bit of a mortifying moment. Can't really recommend. Sorry.

Used to work, now a waste of space. When starting it and trying to connect to WhatsApp, hangs with spinning circle forever. Your ads are shown still, so I guess all is not lost... [/sarcasm]. Other messengers appear to work, but haven't gone through with the set up, not interested. Android 6.0, no ad blocker.

I love this app but keeps stalling in the last week or two. Very frustrating

Great concept. Looking forward to improvements. I like the idea of being able to use/access WhatsApp from a secondary device, i.e tablet, without having to transfer account across device. This is like how Facebook messenger works. Since most people are on WhatsApp this is useful to have. Would be better for quicker loading/syncing times. And to delete messages across all devices. Even better if, more wallpaper/notification options.

Yes, it's a good app, well worth paying for just to get rid of the ads, I contacted support on some issues I was having but didn't get any response (they would have got 5*s if they had), one thing it is lacking is an audible sign / noise to tell you when you have a message instead of a mail box in the very top left of your screen, but all in all it's great, I'm using it with WhatsApp and had no problems at all.

Does the job well, displays a very usable WhatsApp Web interface on mobile unlike a lot of other options. Using this app so I can access my WhatsApp on both of my phones. Am considering switching to premium to remove ads, as the ad at the top of the window is still annoying even if it's not that invasive.

I like this app and it works as described but the ads are too intrusive and annoying and there's no way to disable them permanently. The paid / premium version allows to disable ads only for 1 year so not worth it in my opinion. It would be great if the developers would add an option for permanent ad removal.
