How does it work? Tablet Talk pairs your Android phone to an Android tablet over Bluetooth or WiFi (sorry, iPads, iPhones, Windows Phone, and BlackBerry are not supported). Incoming text messages on your phone instantly appear on your tablet. Start texting from a tablet on the larger keyboard, without having to reach for your phone! You can even make tablet phone calls (Bluetooth headset required).

Installation instructions:
Install Tablet Talk on both your tablet and Android phone, but only pay for it once. After you buy the app on your tablet, it will be made free for your phone on the Play Store. Here’s how to complete the installation:

2. Press menu and select Settings-> Accounts. Select the account used to get the app on your tablet.
3. Press the menu button again and select “My apps.” Tablet Talk should be listed and available to install.
Tablet Talk works with all popular Android SMS apps, and does not replace how you text on your phone. If you use Go SMS, Handcent, or MIUI please see the FAQ in Tablet Talk or the Tablet Talk website for a quick and easy fix if messages do not automatically sync to the tablet.

this app worked for about a week and now will not open on galaxy tab a i paid 2.99 for this sent a email to the devloper about 2 weeks back with no response looks like i am not alone on this very unprofessional please steer away from this app when it worked 5 stars when it quit 3 stars when the developer donte care not evev worth 1
It's great. It just stops working every now and then to I have to uninstall and reinstall.

I nearly missed the message i always wanted because my phone fell down a sewer pipe. but my tablet was linked. so when Jr. texted me that he was horny, i said screw the phone, id rather have Matt's 10 1/2" to clean my pipes. And So I have to Rate him with 10.. and oh yes.. 1/2 🌟's

But i had to access connecting through teamviewer, since the tap to connect option is not visible in the round screen of watch. So kind request for an update with changing the tap and connect option ( Bluetooth icon) to autoconnect or in the main setting page please
I downloaded it to use with my tablet and Bluetooth speakers (that are built to take calls) but it doesn't work with the speakers and still asks you to connect bluetooth headsets. It is unfair that this app is a paid one even when it has so many limitations and has not been fully developed. I now have paid for an app that doesn't work for the intended use. If I had a chance to try it first I wouldn't have wasted mymoney on it.
The app shows I have new messages in my notifications list and I can't clear them. I don't use this as my default messaging app and the messages it says are new are actually up to a week old. Really annoying and it does it in multiple phones. My Samsung galaxy phones and my Samsung note phones. I like the app, just hate the notification flaw. I'll be searching for a replacement. I expected more from an app I paid for.
I really love the app, it worked great until I upgraded to lollipop. Now every time I click on a message thread it crashes because it doesn't explicitly call the messageactivity or something like that. I sent in a bug report about a month ago and the developers still haven't fixed it. It seems simple to fix, but until they fix it, my app rating will suffer.
Would be ideal if I could use my tablet with hands free bluetooth Mic and speakers since it's connected on bluetooth to my car stereo and audio from my tablet comes on the speakers but when I click the bluetooth icon when in a call it just goes to my phone without the speaker phone. The whole point of being connected on bluetooth to the car stereo is to use the tablet to make hands free calls from the phone but using the hands free Mic and speakers. Other than that it works great :)
Simply put, the App works flawlessly for me. I just got the Tab S, and I can now use this at home and work in place of my phone. I haven't tried calls, but I was mainly concerned with texting. There are also a lot of settings like any good messaging app would have. The fact that you can choose Bluetooth OR WiFi syncing is also pretty incredible.
I like it. works well when connected. i am on the new samsung tab s3 wifi only with ATT service. the app disconnects for no as yet identifiable reason so is not as reliable as I need it to be. the cell on the same network (port 4040 or 8080) is galaxy note 5 by Verizon. reconnecting is quick but means the cell must be at hand as well as the tablet rather defeating the convenience factor. /g
Amazing work guys. Awesome APP. I really wanted this for my standalone smart watch. I had problem in pairing it with the watch (not the app prob) but the screen size of watch. I solved could that also. It really serves the purpose. I can see the call and mess while i am driving, User friendly. Does not drain too much battery competitively. Tested it properly.Wish it has whatsapp notification it would have been the best.
Not bad as a basic tool. Needs work. Not all photos make it to the tablet, text messages sent from my phone don't show up in the conversation threads on the tablet, and there is no numerical or any other notification on the app logo on the home screen for unread messages, making it necessary to open the app only to verify any new text messages have been received, or not. Hence only two stars from me.
I am rating this app after, over, 9 months of use to 1 star for t following reasons: WiFi connection is not stable and most of the times does not connect specially is you switch networks. Bluetooth works fine when both the phone and the tablet are on, it disconnects as soon as the tablet goes to sleep. On the other hand it keeps restarting on the phone which slows it down and drains the battery. I, unfortunately, had to uninstall it
I'm using this on my tablet that I installed into my truck on the dash. I use the tablet for a dedicated GPS and this app is great for call notifications while driving. Calls pop up on the screen and I can then answer and talk via my Bluetooth. I have an older truck so I use a separate Bluetooth speaker and I now have the same functionality that my wife has in her new car.
Receives pictures but no group MMS. Sending any MMS it loses sync & send never completes. I tried all settings, copied MMS network settings from the phone. It doesn't know slight differences in numbers such as +1 country code from someone in contacts without it. Messaging app for phone force closes immediately. No support response in a year.
Started off as a 5 star but had to go to 3 star. Tablet Talk on phone and Tablet via bluetooth kept disconnecting for just a second at a time and then reconnecting. Not a huge problem if you aren't listening to music via bluetooth. However I only use this in my car and I am always listening to music so when I was listening to music via bluetooth it skips every time the phone and tablet would disconnect and reconnect. Not a great experience.
I use this app with my personal phone and work phone. It allows me to take calls and texts from work on my personal phone without having to result to an expensive Bluetooth dual sim adapter or one of the cheap ribbon ones which only allow one sim to be active. The extra phone and messaging apps work perfect for me to know exactly which number I'm sending and calling from.
Even after updating my pad (Nexus 7 2013) to Lollipop it worked fine. But after updating this app on Dec. 15th it quit working. Apparently the problem is my phone, Moto-X 2013. It crashes immediately on launch... Please help me go back to the previous version.
Straight Talk does not have an app too connect your messaging service to your tablet. I looked it up on the internet and was told there was no way you could connect your straight talk phone to the tablet. They could be not more wrong. It is such an easy set up and able to use my own cell phone number,. VERY HAPPY HAPPY! my
it works okay, the auto reconnect rarely works and you cant send pictures or group messages (The option to do so exist and does not work) overall good for the price since similar apps charge per month. Edit: Recently it cant stay connected to my phone for more than like 5 minutes even in bluetooth mode, so I dropped a star.
