Taimi - LGBTQI+ Dating, Chat and Social Network

Was really excited about this app, made an account and everything, but when I got to the point where it's started asking for a fee I unfortunately had to uninstall it. Yes they do offer a 7 day free trial but then it goes up to a very substantial amount that, as a student, I can't justify paying. If you are open to paying that amount of money go for it. The app, from what I saw, was very nice, clean, professional, offered category for every one on the LGBTQ+ spectrum and even more.

This app, with all the original issues, used to be decent. The most recent update has to be the worst thing you all have done yet. Not one person I've met since likes it. The whole dynamic of the app has changed & if I'm not mistaken, you can see even less than before. It's so difficult to get to the groups we've joined... & you, for some reason, have gotten rid of the wall. Please change it back. Get rid of the card thing because it's boring & makes zero sense.

Too many ads. Furthermore, the premium version costly, which does not even have a trial period(and it is worth buying it, because it includes absolutely basic functions, which the regular version does not. For example, without premium version, you can't see if the interlocutor read the message

I have way too many messages to scroll through. Literally all your messages in one place regardless of who sent them, imagine your email not filtering out junk mail, that's what it's like. I tried dealing with it for a bit and would delete the messages from non matches, I went 3 days without opening it and now I have over 200 messages I don't want. AND YOU CAN ONLY DELETE ONE MESSAGE AT A TIME. I stopped using this app completely now. The DMs need a complete overhaul.

Stupid freakin app. Need to fix it. For some really idiotic reason swiping down means uninterested. Of course when u scroll through their profile it's swipe up then down. Then you unexpectedly hit the top and someone that you really liked just got the boot. Of course unless you pay, you can't get them back. Needs to be fixed. They also need to implement ways to improve matching with the right people. It's so random and mostly just swiping aimlessly of course until you find som1 and X them

Frustrating user experience, a lot of simple features are left out. Far too many notifications even when you limit them. Update: they allow people you haven't matched with to message you, there is no way to stop this unless you make your profile completely invisible so you end up harassed endlessly by people you're not interested in or you get no exposure at all. The people at Taimi are aware of this issue and have told me it's a feature, not a bug. Stay away if you have any boundaries.

Taimi used to be an app with lots of features and was a great place for queers around the world to connect. Over the last few months each update has just taken away more and more, bringing it to a point where its now one of the worst. They still charge extravagant prices for premium subscriptions, yet now there's no actual reason to purchase. If you ask me, just skip it and look for a different app.

How can you possibly offer a free option if you charge money for each and every function?! Most simple features like filtering and decent search are only accessible if you pay for them.It's a form of constructive in which you select and pay for the features you require. The difficulty is that even the simplest ones need payment.

I get a ton of notifications for likes/messages/views, but because I'm not on the Silver tier, I can't actually do anything about most of them, and it's just way too many notifications. Worse, the message panel of the app gets filled up with messages I can't respond to, making it hard to find the ones I actually can respond to. The nail in the coffin though, is that the distance filter seems to do nothing? Which makes the app borderline useless

The new updated is awful. removed discover/home page, where we could engage with others and groups, which I'm guessing will be the next thing to be binned. Can no longer access my full profile to see posts I've made to groups. Now only have options to have "cards" on your profile. It's not good. I enjoyed the social aspects of this app but It's become an unpleasant user experience with all the social dynamics being deleted. Ill be deleting soon.

They steal your money!!! Signed up for the "free" trial, showed the amount due was $0.00 for my trial so I signed up. They charged my account $5.40 for the trial they listed as $0.00 on my bill. And it didn't show any information telling me I'll be charged for the full subscription before hitting purchase. It showed I owed $0 and after hitting purchase it charged me card!!! This is illegal and the app is a scam. Definitely don't recommend!!!

New update switches like and superlike buttons around when you go from the like/dislike screen to the profile page so that you keep accidently superliking when you mean to just like and even when you click back it doesn't restore that superlike. It makes your superlikes deplete quickly and then tries to sell you more. Clearly a deliberate ploy. I pay the subscription and don't expect to be cheated.

Your entire profile gets wiped when you back out of the app. Bio and everything. Huge waste of time, decent interface if it worked correctly. I didn't even have a chance to scroll through anyone because the app breaks before you can even start.

I can't stand your updates. Honestly, you are constantly trying to change something, but it always turns out uncomfortable and ugly.The usability and functionality have glitches everywhere. The conversation is sent three messages at a time. Why? I do not understand.

Do not recommend, at least if you want to use the free version. They have an option which requires you to pay to have people outside of your preferences not show up. For example if you say you were looking for women,24-29, within 40 miles of you, it will waste your time by showing you 18 year old men who live 100 miles away. Kinda ruins the point of having preferences at all.

So it's a requirement that in order to chat with people you both have to give have to hit the mutual like button. Problem with that is when you've been notified you were liked by someone the profile is blurred out and when you try to hit the like or heart button it takes you to the "pay to play" option and if you back out it leads back to the blurred out screen. This is by far one of the worst apps that prey on the LGBtQ community. No wonder people just stick with tinder.

For the love of Christ, just include a delete button! It is difficult to remove your profile from the system. If you ever chose to stop using this excellent software and don't want to keep your data,you're in for some terrible news. You can change it so that no actual data is displayed. It is, however, inconvenient and time-consuming.

The problem with the search is back again. There continue to be bugs with messages and search.If you are in one city and browse guys from another, you are thrown to the beginning of the list of your city. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find my match.

It's completely crazy. When you attempt to meet someone and find out they reside in the other city, it's quite inconvenient.You'd imagine this is a case of miscommunication, with the individual mixing up the places. But that also occurred to me. I specified my city explicitly, and then someone wrote to me from another country.

When selecting the external sound of notifications, the selected option works for a short time,with time the sound disappears, only vibration remains. I want to know in advance what kind of message is coming.

Get to work, gentlemen! Message notifications arrive at best 2 out of 10.At times it is as if the messages have already been read. The geolocation update basically does not happen until you go into the app, although as such is already running.
