Takealot Online Shopping App

Great app. Never had an issue with them. Faultless service and delivery. Only problem is they don't flag which item might take longer in your cart, so you can decide if you want to split your shipment, like other online stores do. Faithful to nature does this well. And I don't know how to get notified if something in my wishlist is cart is about to be sold out. That's a bummer. Superbalist does this well. Thanks takealot.

Your app improved "alot"! Just two things: 1. Please remove the popups! They are random and irrelevant. They always seem to appear when I open an item (I get Barbie, soap, expensive Samsung phones and tablets... not interested). 2. After opening an item and clicking its picture, I can't scroll to the other pictures of the item without first going one step back and clicking the pic again. This is a bug.

All I want for this app is to save my search. Because there are so many products to look at and find. So on the internet I can save my previous search, but not here. And if I accidentally push the back button I loose everything I have search for. I like the app more because the web is slow! Nothing wrong with my web browser but the site is slow. Please fix the save my search.

The app works fine, but my shopping experience has been frustrating. Takes 2 weeks to ship an item, at most, 20km to the nearest pickup point. The app said its in stock in cape town, so I don't get how it takes 2 weeks to go from their warehouse to plumstead. I don't know what takealot is going to do once amazon gets setup and gets more distribution points. Plus, with Amazon prime, it's next day delivery. I know I'll be switching

Why the constant pop up ads? I'm already browsing available products. It's a bad user experience. It's hostile. It's disruptive to my shopping experience. If you need to be this hostile to your users in order to boost the bottom line, at least allow me to opt out. Include a setting. This unnecessary annoyance aside, it's a good app.

Huge variety of products and really great deals! My only frustration is the check out process. I had to choose the pick up option, because the delivery option got stuck after step 1. Believe me, I tried over 2 days, close to 10 times, and it remained the same.

I was very skeptical at first about online shopping. I had a bad first experience with another platform, but I find Takealot user friendly and efficient, even when I had a query once on a missing item from my order - the person at customer care was friendly and very helpful. They resolved my enquiry and I still enjoy using this app.

This app is great. Being able to set up lists for items you'd like to purchase in future , and getting notifications when those items have been discounted is just tops. Not to mention the notifications for all the different sales going on. Only problem with this app is that it's got me shopping way too much 😩 overall a quality app that makes the shopping experience swift and convenient. Thanks Takealot

Very good app... alot of the products are much cheaper then what I can get were I live and alot off the products I can't even get were I live so it is very convenient... The delivery staff are always friendly and this app is so easy to use and the COD option is very helpful... Refunds are simple and easy if need be...

Great app I have been purchasing off takealot for years now and it is the only online shopping experience i trust in. When there are ever complaints they are very quick to respond and immediately get on top of the issue. They also ALWAYS deliver earlier than expected I love the apps wishlist function

Great app. Easy to use. Very similar to Amazon. App make the process of buying and contacting Takealot easy. The only gripe I have is that sufficient product detail is almost always lacking e.g. nutritional value of foods. Label information should be given to empower the client to make more informed decisions

Usually Takealot is very good. They deliver on time, and I've need had a problem with their delivery services or products, until now. I placed an order on the 22nd, it's the 28th and it still has not shipped. I try to cancel order, cancelling this order is mission impossible. I've tried calling, I waited 6minutes for a consultant to pick up, no one picked up until I just hung up. I tried emailing them, no one has gotten back to me. I'm not happy....

They have no costumes support. There is no way of contacting them if you have a complaint. They keep canceling my order after I have payed for the item and shipping. This has happened multiple times now. Then I only get the items money back not the shipping. They are also very overpriced. I'm really unhappy with takealot

Online shopping has modified the shopping experience and allows you to shop smartly. It's become more convenient and diversified to shop online and has changed our lives in somewhat a good way by having old traditions lose their charm. Highly impressed with how technology is changing the face of retail therapy by cutting out the middle man.

Great app. Easy to use. No problem with the app. All of a sudden 2 days later, after I placed an order, I learned that it had been cancelled by takealot, after I made my payment. I dig into it and found that the excact item now cost Rxxx instead of my order price of Rxx. Takealot cancelled my order without my concent. I have lost my trust in Takealot. Takealot owes me Rxx. I' order something to that amount, wich will also be my last order from takealot. Disgusting.

I've been buying from Takealot since 2016 and up till today I enjoy the being a regular customer. The delivery service is awesome. The delivery guys are friendly and they greet you with a smile. Their specials are a life saver on things you either want or need. The catalogue is so diverse it's like shopping in a mall, on your phone. Despite the items that were delivered to me with damages and faults, Takealot holds up the satisfying standard for exchanges and returns on those items. #takalot4eva

The selection of books that Takealot has available to them is fantastic. And and very reasonable prices. I had bought a product that was not correct, when I received it(wrong colour). The return was painless and fast. Don't be scared to order online from Takealot if that is one of your concerns.

I've only ever had pleasant experiences with Takealot. If I've needed to return a product, they have been extremely helpful and timeous with the return/exchange/refund. I love the convenience of finding whatever I need from the comfort of my home. Love the app too. It's very user friendly 😜

I've had problems with every order. Defective products, wrong products delivered. My last 3 orders have had the wring items. Then you wait a week for them to investigate. Then a week for a return. Then 2 weeks for the correct product. This after waiting 2 weeks for the original order. Pathetic! Pay extra for same day delivery and the order does not arrive the same day. Rubbish service!

Why is it when I look for a specific product, the site gives me another product unless they don't keep the product, which they should keep it inside a warehouse or were they keep stock of items. The site is good for other stuff, but I'm looking for an item (this might be only me, though I highly doubt it) and sometimes Takealot either does not have the item completely like doesn't even keep stock or it refuses to show the item to me. Other than that the site is good and you should check it out.

It's easy and user-friendly. The adding to cart and checkout process is quick and problem free. I havn't notice any problems with the app except the search process is very non-specific. It does not display appropriate options for my search query.

Love the app. Great deals! Am changing my review to 2 and a half stars. Am not happy at all at the moment. I bought 2 units of one product. I was not very happy with the product so i returned both after less than 2 days. I was only refunded for one of them. I started emailing with Bianca of the takealot team and after her first email i havent heard back from her again.

Can get most of what you want or need on the app. Sometimes items are not incorrect, but that is very very rare. And when they are incorrect Takealot is very helpful and quick with returns/ refunds. Definitely recommend the app!

The app, spam you all the time. Every time you click on the screen, an adv is show, buy this, or buy that. I quit using the app and went back to the page. The is bloody search function, if I need to buy something, I'll search it.

Great app but it seems receiving one's products take longer now and some sellers display better pictures than what they are selling (like I bought a tummy belt that looked nothing like the picture displayed).I wish takealot can include customer reviews with pictures of their purchase, other than that I'm enjoying using the app.

Just wish if you search for a product that items found would actually show what you asked for and not additional stuff odd things. Makes it very frustrating because it displays items randomly. Atleast put the stuff I searched for at the top and the rest last.
