Fantastic app. Their customer service is so on point. I recently moved to a smaller town and the options are still somewhat limited but I am waiting for them to add more restaurants. Also, I'd rather use Takeaway with lower delivery fees and actual employees rather than the mess that's Deliveroo.
Best food service app. Fast, reliable, uncomplicated. Features multiple paying methods and Google Pay. Whats there not to love? Six stars.
Overall clunky experience. first it said my credit card 3D TAN is not activated. I lost time confirming that it IS activated, and then still had to use a different credit card. Delivery person did not receive the delivery instructions (or did not read them). Unable to edit item extras once the item is in the shopping cart, must rather delete it and re-add a new item. Unable to rate the restaurant from the app - have to wait until a separate email is received which requests a rating.
Useless platform. If you have a problem with your order, they let you deal with the restaurant directly. Why then order via Takeaway if you have to do everything directly with the restaurant. Competitors are much more responsive
Easy in using and trustfull app
App works fine, it's just not a good app. The tracker doesnt work on an evening after 10pm - It's also unclear if an order has gone through, and I've waited for food after 10pm and nothing has arrived. Orders always take way longer than stated time - I dont mind how long it takes, just dont like expecting something in 1hr and it taking an additional 30+ minutes. Deliveroo can get this right so it is doable? Some restaurants show on one phone but not another.
It's barely even an app. There's no in-app messaging or calling and I couldn't see where the delivery person was on the map. Also they don't allow credit card payments at night. At least I didn't lose money since I chose cash payment and the food never arrived. Annoying if you don't have a local number and they fail to contact you.
Delivery time is not accurate, it is more than 200% longer than the predicted time. The app always says that the payment has failed, however the payment is successfully. It only confirms your order after about 5 minutes, so be cautions not to pay twice for your order! App refers to food tracker for delivery status, but food tracker shows 0 minutes to delivery more than 30 minutes before actual delivery. The customer service does not reply. Be careful when making purchases through this app!
Worst app in the world!!! I never wrote a review in my life, but this app is probably the worst there is on the store, every single time I order something there is a problem, there are bugs probably in every section of this app. If there was an alternative in sofia I would never go near this app. WORST APP EVER! 0 stars!
Terrible experience, ordered a pickup at the restaurant and when I get there the restaurant hadn't received my order, now I am supposed to wait up to 10 days to maybe get my money back when clearly it was either the app or the restaurants fault.
Filters are needed, and scoring (even if only private) for the delivery (maybe I like the pizza but not the burger, but it's only a personal decision). otherwise, awesome app that works in foreign countries!!!!
Great concept but it's really buggy. It does not show my past orders and doesnt show the time since i placed my order. i oftenhave to refer to my email to get updated instead of the app.
Waited 2h before giving up and writing a complain. Only then did the restaurant returned my missed calls . Neither prepararion nor delivery ever happened even though i received a message from the app saying "restaurant has confirmed that your order will be delivered soon", which turns out is an automatic message based on estimation. After apologies and promise of money return, my bad review and complain was deleted (!) Which makes me untrust all reviews. I'm not sure I'll use again this app.
I rate this application instead of polish version because THE POLSIH VERSION is the only version that IS INCOMPATIBLE with all my devices. Somehow other region versions are compatible. Please fix this crazy problem.
App is fine...but what use when their customer service doesnt respond to complaints raised on this app. Ordered food through it and didnt receive the orderbinspite of paying money. Registered complaint on takeaway app twice and no action taken until now. Not even a message saying we will look into your complaint came. So basically my money is gone...
This app is waste of time... After installing the app it is not opening only, and I have tried QuGo app it is working awesome and performance is also good.... Please try with that app.
Food arrived 2 hours late because of transportat. When I called the restaurant to ask about the order they said that oftentimes they have to beg for someone to come take the order. I also don't appreciate the unnecessary fees where I have to pay more for an order under 50 bucks.
I have previously given this app 1 star due to a problem I faced. However, I have to say that their customers service is very well established! They helped me with my issue and so I was satisfied with the results.
Terrible service, absolutely do not recommend. Worst customer service. If you have an issue they just leave you hanging. Their website is buggy and they take forever to fix them
We can't see where is our order. Also there is no way to contact directly the delivery person. Which makes it complicated when they arrive around.
Everything works fine...except when the App is closed. Basket should be saved and not just dissappear. It's annoying :)
