Talk - Text to Voice FREE

No problems, just wondering if you could find a way to add my own voice, that would be great! This app is wonderful, and now I have better writing and grammar... and not kick me out when I try copy pasting my story. I know it's long, but please make it work. Also.... yeah that's it thank you. Or if you could add different voices, and able to switch the voice for the whole writing or certain sentences in the notes. Thanks- only if you do it.

Update, I am started to get irritated, I used this app for highlight features which i loved, now it doesn't? Why have you removed that? Just for that reason low star rating. The best I have ever used for text to speech. It has almost totally fulfilled my wants. Like no restrictions on what website or app you use easy to save and read text. Plus easy voice, pitch and speed. modification. I expect it to improve little more ux and easiness. Thank you. Great app.

Excellent app!! I've been using it for the past week due to throat surgery and it's been extremely helpful. If you don't mind me suggesting, I would add a "clear" button to delete all text written, faster and more easily. I would also add a "select sentence" option so that if you want to repeat one it doesn't start from the beginning. I managed to do it once but I couldn't do it again so I think it was not intuitive enough (for me at least). Good job over all 💪👍👍

I've been looking for something like this, oddly enough, I wasn’t having much luck. All I found were apps that were too specific/couldn't read from 3rd party apps, or apps I had to pay for. Then, I came across this little beauty. It's simple & efficient. Good work. Thanks. I've ONE complaint. The read out of highlighted text will randomly stop when played from the context menu but, reads fine if typed (copy/paste, in this case) into the app itself. Aside from that, I've had no problems at all.

This is my favorite text to speech app but since i updated my Android to version 9, the app no longer highlights the text that it is reading and doesn't follow along down the paragraphs to show the place its reading. Hopefully they can fix and update these little bugs for Android 9/P. Also it would be great if it could export large files of texts to audio, like whole articles. Please update! Been using regularly for more than 2 yrs. Easiest TTS app on play store.

This has to be the best app utilizing text to speech right behind Shouter. Anything that I can see on my phone screen that I want to have read out loud to me can be initiated by just tapping the share button- and up pops the Start button for your Assistant voice to begin the narration! The only major annoyance is that all information on the page is spoken ( technical references, etc.).

I would have given it 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟, but I have to wait and see how the developer will maintain the good performance I have just experienced from it; it turned a text into speech simply and perfectly. I have even saved it to my internal storage; I couldn't do it with another app of its kind I just downloaded too. I will be back to complete the stars if I see consistency.

A simple and convenient way to have articles saved and read out loud later on. I found an error, though: the buffer for a sentence is too small, and for long sentences, it pauses at the limit, speaking the next letter all by itself, then continues on.

I got this app after my wisdom teeth were removed because it was too hard to talk. It works really well so long as you can spell. It doesn't have an autocorrect function but your phone should by 2019. Only thing I would like changed is maybe more voices. The one they have here is lowkey slightly annoying, but worth saving my mouth from pain. No complaints.

Brilliant!! Excellent when I lost my voice! Easy to use and you can save frequently used phrases. Keeps saying I need to install missing data but pressed back and it works great. Just wish it was a bit louder but great otherwise. Ads aren't intrusive either.

I have been using these kinds of technologies for over 25 years so all I can say that this APP is priceless and especially when combined with other technologies in the communications sector. Again priceless and I have pity for those people that don't know hoow precious it is for Family matters to language barriers and of course for what it offers and that speaks for itself. 25 years ago one would have to pay $200 a month so feel lucky, Great Application solution!!!

So far., it has been efficient. surprising me with its simplicity to use. I have not come across any difficulties. I did noticed how easy it became once after my first cut and paste set the to the appropriate language, speed and tone. My tablet spoke the selected portion of text accurately, how i had imagined it would. Except i could never do before installing Talk free. Should issues arise, i will update my experienced review although i can't see how it could it fail., its very straight forward

Would be super useful but the TTS settings I sett in the settings seem to have no effect, neither on the context menu for selected text, nor on text that is copied to the app itself: My Android system language is english but i want the app to read german text. sometimes it read with English voice, sometimes wit German. i don't understand why...

Easy to use. Not fancy but I don't need special features like colors, underline, bold, etc. Accidental slide right deletion from list is biggest issue. Undo functionality would greatly improve the loss of info. I'd give 5 stars with that included.

Very good app. Voice is nice and loud and you can adjust volume, pitch and speed. I just hope that in future you can include more languages, such as Afrikaans.

Best free app ever 👍, helps me alot when I have to read an long article and also it saves your texts. Have lots of voice options. One thing I wish they add next update is that while reading the text, it highlights the word so it makes it easier to follow. Great job developers.

Been Using this constantly for audio books and news stories for years. Looked around for a alternatives to compare them, but nothing is better that I could find. Only app on my phone I couldn't live without.

Amazing and best app for pronunciation. Even you can use it without enter in the app. If you are reading any article on internet, just copy the word or lines and touch the three dots and then touch 'Talk" and it will start reading.

I deleted it because it only has one female voice/type. I usually leave the audio running and repeating over a long time, so it is annoying that I can't change the voice type. If I have missed out on this in the settings, let me know. Apart from that, good app. Works great.

It is a nice app to convert text to speech. We can export to wav format, it is the only available format for exporting the audio. (wav file can be converted to mp3 using audio editor like lexis editor). Used this app to convert English text to audio and Hindi text to audio. Only female voice is available. We need to set the language everytime we open the app. Haven't seen any app that is simple and easy as this.

It is really easy to access 👏 . Eventhough it has few options it is really complete and enough for my use... It is easy to control,access and import to our file..but only few voices are available ..i rate this app high and high due to its simple and easy options. I learnt to use it within a minute..👍

I have re-edited my rating and decided to change my 5 stars to 3 stars. The main problem that I have with it is that it is too easy to erase my saved work, by accidentally swiping it to the left or the right. However, am still very impressed with its straightforward and basic layout.
