Talk to Deaf Grandmother (Speech to Text)

As others have said, name is off-putting. Appears to be very similar to other speech recognition apps like Talk to the Deal and Deak Communication. None of these work for me. The microphone button has to be pushed every time. App switches to Google. Google's Live Transcribe works better. But I want an app that doesn't need to be tied to WiFi. I'll keep looking.

Text is too large and you can't scroll down to read the rest of convo. I like that it can be used without wifi . But without adjustments to text or scroll , it will not do well.

I love this app. It's accurate, and has large text type for my dad. Is there a way we can link our phones so I can talk into my phone and he sees what I said in his phone. He recently loss his hearing but can verbally communicate just fine. Seems like a Bluetooth link would be perfect!!!

it's a nice app. it picks words fast. One thing which is needed is the option to edit the text. Another point which is not quite significant but holds value is the name of the app. It could have been much better with a simple name.

Great little app that does exactly what it says on the tin. Well done for taking the time to develope it and for getting it to pick up with such accuracy. You even thought to increase the text size for the elderly to read easy. Best app I have found for my father in law. Thank you.

The text is too big and cannot be adjusted. Mike needs a stay-on option. Name of the app would be off putting for my dad who is very self conscious about his hearing issues. There other apps out there. Uninstalling.

Seems to be very accurate and picks up conversations at a desant distance (4 to 5ft), however the letters are so large not much fits on my screen. Unable to adjust size or scroll down to entire message.

Seem to work well, but only with default language of your country. Would be fantastic if one could choose a different language to detect.

I use it just as described for whom it was described. Made conversation while driving a lot more pleasant and inclusive I think I will try to make the text a bit smaller and include more conversation on the panel thanks for making it

Excellent app. Shame about the name. This app is perfect for speaking to my deaf mother in law. An excellent addition would be the ability to edit text. I would give it 5 stars, but I have to hide the name from my mother in law as she would be very insulted by it. And rightly so. Please change the name, then I'll rate it 5 stars.

Not too bad, suggest have options (font size, background colour) also a scrollable history. A paid version to remove those dam ads. Make you header banner much less intrusive.

works okay but anything that is a longer sentence blows up too large and goes off the screen. Font size does not seem to be adjustable. Using LG5.

Very impressed with this app. My mum has recently become deaf & this app has helped me to communicate with her. What has impressed me most, is that she's currently in hospital & the er docs, nurses etc have been using this to explain what is happening to her. It has made life alot easier for all.

I hate having to take the time to write it out on the whiteboard, show it then erase it. This is quick and relatively easy, almost like carrying in a conversation.

It works well but could be easier between 2 people. To complicated for deaf person to send to other end of conversation.

I installed this to help me communicate with my mum who is very hard of hearing and can't lip read when I wear a mask. I was surprised at how well it worked although with a mask on it was at times less accurate. Certainly much better than typing all the time that's for sure.

It is such an awesome app for my customers. I am a hairdresser and can talk to my customers! They enjoy being able to talk back to me. It is just a beautiful experience for the both of us. Thank you so much! 🥰

This app has helped me talk to my mom. It is so much easier and faster than a white board! Thanks for this app! A suggestion- center the text. Still love it!

Works great , easy to use and prints large print on screen so the elderly can see it. Thks for this app.

I installed and pushed the button to talk, nothing. A blue pulsating Google button appeared and I pushed it nothing. I tried tapping the button and holding the button down. In either case nothing.

I find it easy to use all I have to do is talk in to the microphone every time with out without fail it spells the right words every time my mother and I are absolutely delighted with it

this is the perfect app, for me so my friends and I can talk with no problems, thank you for making this app, and I have tried others but this one beats them all !!!

This is excellent!!!!! Only wish there are some options as far as font size. I didn't see one.

Works as well as the other apps using Google's speech engine. Please add support for other languages.

When you press the microphone you have to wait for the Google microphone to also appear and then it may not type what you say if it doesn't like the network

This app has been a tremendous assistant to helping me communicate with my profoundly deaf Mother. Delighted and impressed with the simplicity of using this app. Appreciated.

Use on phone screens is very difficult to Read or make out what it's saying otherwise it's works for my needs and I live in a Nursing Home.

No text size control, on my 10inch tablet, text too small to read by my hard of hearing dad at 1.5m distance. Shame, love the simplicity.

I am deaf and been looking for something as easy as this to use, how do you clear it to move to next phrase though without sharing, I have to close app to start new?

Works great! I've even shown your app to her nurses at her nursing.
