Talking Calendar Reminder app

Very nice app. I use it on a regular basis to attract my attention as to events I have . It also has ability to increase/decrease the speed of speach for those that may have a tone problem. It would be nice if the logo contained the current date of month. Currently, it only shows a 21. Googles calender always shows a 31. I do have a calendar that shows current date within it's logo but, if talking calendar had this, it would be the only calendar I would use.

I've just changed my rating from 5 stars to 2 stars. I've been using this app for more than 2 years and haven't had a problem. Suddenly the app is not announcing my calendar events which is critical to me! I missed several appointments because I've depended on this talking calendar for so long. Previous review This app interfaces with my Google Calendar and it's critical to my everyday use even in scheduling my business appointments because I am visually impaired. It's awesome!

This app used to work great. But now it rarely reads the reminders out loud. All it says is "calendar alert," but that's all. I have synced my calendars, updated "text to talk," increased the volume in both the app and in the phones "media" setting, but the app is still very unreliable in reading the calendar aloud. I'm using a Samsung Note 9. As I said before, the app used to work wonderfully. It would read every calendar reminder out loud. What am I missing?

This seems to be a good app that performs the essential reminder function, filling in where Google calendar's pathetic little beeps leave off, reminding us of the critical things that we might otherwise forget. As to the guy who complained about ads, they don't seem that invasive. However, why not offer a paid version? One criticism... Lack of documentation. What does "assure alarms of events" in settings mean, for example? A user guide would be helpful.

Have been using it for one week plus, so far it works great on my Xperia XZ1 Compact (Android 9). Some of the options in settings menu are handy for customising and privacy control. Text based notifications of Apple Calendar and Google Calendar made me feel that I've been using dumb phones in the past, now this app makes my phone "smart" again. Thanks for making this great app! There is an annoying bug though - same notification sometimes getting played repetitively when they are not supposed to be. From my observation it seems to be triggered if an event has additional notification in addition to the default one. I will email app creator with details.

I rarely write reviews but this app has become essential to me and is the first I install on any new phone. With my severe memory and focus issues, this app has "saved" me many times daily. Fully recommend for anyone with ADHD, ASD or memory problems, or simply anyone who struggles with hyperfocus. Seriously, this app alone WILL change your life. Every time a new friend hears the app speak, they ask how they can get their phone to do that. To the developers, thank you so much. You are amazing.

Have used this as a daily reminder for a long time, but app has suddenly started speaking the time literally. For example instead of telling me an event is at seven pm it will say it's at zero seven colon zero zero pm which is a bit frustrating. Can this be fixed? Also, for some reason volume is linked to media volume; feel it would be better if this could be linked to notification volume for consistency.

Took it for another trial run, read all instructions, added a few new daily reminders, waited for notification and wala, worked like a charm! It didn't let me down like most others. Extra verbal announcements. In the past few days I have been experiencing extra verbal announcements that are not scheduled at that time. I have it set to let me know 15 minutes before and 1 day before, but it is telling me multiple times a day as well as 2 days before (multiple times). Hope this is fixed soon so I don't have to delete the app.

Couldn't be without HER! I've feminised the voice alerts lols. This app really helps me so much. I was looking for something to vocalise my appointments and this was the perfect one. She reminds me of everything I need to know at the time. Really well worth having.

please add customized settings for each event created. Also , when set to repeat mode , it repeats the event instantaneously without any gap, we should be able to create repeat profile , like --in 5 minutes , 15 minutes etc or choose repeat on a said time , like repeat at 2 O' Clock , 3 O' Clock etc. Lastly , your application is quite good. Add repetition interval and I will rate 5 stars.

Love the functionality. Having sporadic issue, possibly only when I am playing games at the same time a Talk Calendar notification pops up, where the notification incessantly repeats over and over after I acknowledge it by tapping Yes. My Vibration & Spoken Repeat are each set to 1.

Amazing app I call my personal assistant. Carries me through my day successfully and with punctuality. Sometimes I'm so busy I don't remember to check my agenda for the day but with this app I configure it so it wakes me up with notification of my agenda for the day and reminders ahead of them. I Love It. One of my top 10 must have app on all my phones. Highly recommended across the board. Thank You for making such an awesome and configurable app.

I LOVE THIS APP !!! I'm horribly forgetful ,, even with setting reminders in an average reminder app , I hear the tone or whatever , but could forget to look to see what I wrote for myself . Having a reminder SPOKEN TO ME IS SO INCREDIBLY HELPFUL !,, Instead of not looking and then forgetting to look , having it SAID TO ME ,, And even on a REPEAT is an HUGE HELP and makes my reminders STICK IN MY HEAD ! I CAN'T THANK THE DEVELOPER ENOUGH FOR THIS APP🤗 ! I'd even pay for an ad free version !

It works, but I can't get any information from the developers on how to dismiss the notifications. As far as I can tell, they sound off at random times and don't stop talking unless you delete the event from your calendar. I'm glad it is reminding me of things, but it's rather annoying to be in the grocery store with your phone talking loudly to you at random and unstoppably. Been waiting for an email response for 21 days as of July 27, 2021.

Took almost a week, but the devoloper responded and have also fixed thr issur with their jan 1st release. changed the star rating from 2 to 5. see below for original issue. Used to work great with my LG G6, then suddenly stopped working with january 2019 update. emailed devloper twice with no response. sad but moved on.

Update: after months of use I'm sick of it. No response from support. Just reminds me of the same things dozens of times all night long and during events that I'm at. I don't understand exactly what is going on as a few times I have random alarms go off in the middle of the night, reminding me of an event 7 hours away... Can you add a function to alert me to all meetings except when I am in a meeting?

I set alarm readings for the first n words, but it reads the whole thing anyway. Why is that broken? Also, shouldn't it offer a snooze to repeat the alarm in x number of minutes. If it did that, I'll give it 5 stars. I reduced to 1* because developer never responded to my email or to this comment.

Turn off ads please. There like a needle in the eye. Are u figuring on this somehow? There is a Quickbook half ad that will not go away. Your images look good, but they no ads. Help!

This app works for me. I seem to remember reminders more easily when I hear it versus reading it. There are many options in the app that are helpful in customizing it.

I really like this app I like it because I can set my appointment times and multiple ones for the same day to remind me at different things I need to do like doctor's appointments and other things like grocery shopping it's wonderful because when you're busy like that you have something to remind you of the daily appointments that you need to take care of

I really enjoy this calendar. It helps me stay on top of my daily events. However, the app used to offer Arabic as one of the languages. I switched phones and now I cannot find Arabic as one of the languages offered.

Sorry I never removed that old review from Android 9.The app has been working pretty good actually I'm really happy with it except for every now and then it repeats over and over and over when an event happens.it will remind me of an event like 3 to 4 times and then it stops, it only happens like once or twice a month please fix.

Thus used to be good. Recently it talks 3 minutes slower than alarmed time set. It also keeps making announcements just to say "I have nothing to say". Annoying. If there are no events then I dont need an announcement to say... I have nothing to say!!!. Uninstalling.

Helps remind me events in a timely manner, as long as i remember to keep things correctly in the calendar.

Wow, perfection. I lost my memory and with this app, I have created a vocal memory of the life I use to have. A nice voice tells me what to do all day 😂. I can live! I can live! (👀-ahh shut up). Lol. But really, it's true.

Very good helpfull and usefull app..i advised it to a doctor friend of mine and he was very pleased with it ...he now can hear his daily schedule All my friends would like to have the dutch language installed. But there still is no dutch version yet

This application is both awesome and prefect for myself and everyone else who live there life off of a calendar meaning that your dates, places and times are so critical as to leave no room for errors.. it's a very hectic lifestyle I live but I Love it And would have it no other way 😄 so Thank You very much for making my extremely busy life a lot more manageable👏🎈🎉
