Talking Caller ID Free
This is a free version of Speaking Caller ID ( also known as Spoken caller name lite).
This free version has the core functionality and will announce the name of caller. However some advance features are disabled, which are available in the paid version.
Features (Not all available in free version)
1.Speaks the name of the calling person when your phone is ringing
2.Remains silent when your ringer volume is silent – no speech for call
3.Supports quite on turn or flip.
4.Custom speech settings. For example instead of having spoken caller name saying Maria is calling, you might like to change it to say Call from Maria
5.No ringtone while speech. This is achieved by setting Silent ringtone from Settings -> Sound -> Phone ringtone ->Silent ringtone
6.Ability to change Speech pitch and speed of the speech

Thanks for making my phone communication life easier. This app doesn't fail, it's always working. It helps me to (screen) identify the caller before deciding whether to answer it or not especially the "unknown, blocked and private" numbers as well as the "800" numbers. I consider all as strangers whom I shouldn't talk to. Thanks to the Techs.
This app is ok. I have used it for a long time. I don't like the technical issues, especially since the system update. My speech is set to speak slow so that my calls can come in clear, but instead, the call testing and the actual calls sound different from my settings. Also you can set your phone to say what you want it to say...well mines no longer speak what I type... Boomer...=(
It's handy, as I don't always remember some contacts ring tones and I can set it much louder than ringtones usually work, so I can hear from the other room who's calling. Like also being able to turn it off or down in public places. Perfect for me. SG3
Your app is great! The app that I had before did not work well with ICS-4.0. (Ice Cream Sandwich/Android). Thank you. Only wish that it would talk thru my Plantronics M50-Bluetooth. Overall it is still a good app!
I love this app or at least I did until the new Android nougat update came out. That messed it all up. Please fix
In general it is not bad at all but sometimes our if the blue stops announcing callers name. After a while is back to normal without doing anything special.
Cool app, I love it but some times it will stop working only to pick up again.
I love this because I can hear who's from a distance and if its a call I don't want I don't even have to go to where my phone is
Yesterday on my phone as a native application, after program update was no longer there. Installed this and it works great
A pity I can't test whether this app will say the individual digits of incoming number.
I like it very much & easy to use. It responds immedietly 3 times at the beginning of call.

Would be great if I could add a list of numbers that will not get spoken (for telemarketer numbers in my contact list). Another app does have that feature but that app didn't work for me.
I love have visual problem don't have to strain to look and see who's call I can ignore better
A long time does very well i haven't had any problems yet good job.
If only it would silence the ring tone instead of talking over it this app would be perfect.

Just wished I would let me do all of the settings
The app of course can't pronounce all names which is fine the minor glitch is the app doesn't always say the names when a call comes through but 90% of the time the app works

It says it n I hear without been close to my phone! Might be cooking and a call comes in and I found out it ain't really the call I wanna answer I jex sit tight! It says the name n it makes it easier for me
On my Note 3 running Lollipop and using an LG Tone HBS730 headset, the app doesn't announce the caller thru the Bluetooth headset. Once this is fixed, I will re-rate the app, but for now it's a major fail....

It's a good app for knowing whose calling but, the drawback is it doesn't gets silent when phone ringer is silent by pushing power button during somebody calls. Its very annoying when you forget to silent your phone in meeting or in places your phone needs to be in silent mode, the caller name is announcef even after phone ringtone is cut off by power button.
