This app is as simple as it can get. Perfect for my need for a repeating talking counting timer. No frills, and it's free! - Please add a toggle to disable the screen lock, or continue to count while screen is locked. Thanks!
New releases much improved. No ads, no pay. I don't know what people were expecting for free, but good dev takes time. Tip: putting in a negative value(-5) in the "count up to" field gives you a 5 second break between intervals. Brilliant. Thank you.
Pretty basic.... i only gave three stars because the lack of a pause button makes this app far less useful than it should be. Can the author please add a pause button?
There is no option to set countdown time in hours, minutes and seconds, which makes the whole app not very useful.
The app stops counting loud when phone gets locked. Kindly fix it. Otherwise a great app.
This app is very useful when using prescription eye drops as it lets me know how much longer I need to keep my eyes closed.

Does not count when the phone is in standby. EDIT: Version 2 does not work at all, just says "Voice output is not yet ready". There is no button to start the counting. Android 9. Developer: There is no new version since I posted my comment, so I'm not sure why you would advise trying it again. It does not work!
EDIT: It just got better, now you can set different font and color for each time, making it easier to see from a distance and to identify each timer. Thank you for the update!. =========== A much improved version of this excellent exercise cadence tool! The developer included a lot of improvements suggested by users. I use itl to keep a constant trainning tempo. It also offers the option to include a custom rest periods between sets in the form of beeping sounds. Thanks dev for this new version!

Some devs stray from the fundamental need to be serviced by the app. Too often u want an "alarm clock", but the app u get tries to tell you weather, news, sports, manage you contacts, balance your checkbook...but the "alarm clock" function barely works. For this app: Add a pause button. Ensure the timer can't be closed accidentally. Have a preferences tab were I can add new voices and more. This app overall does the job. It's an easy job, but surprisingly very few do it.
This is the best app available for a countdown-timer which speaks every second, but there are a few improvements it could make. For example, when it's counting down from the hundreds, it intetupts itself to say the next number. This could be solved by allowing users to set the voice speed, or to have the option to speak every other number, with a delay of 2 seconds
Great app. Just what I was looking for. But one thing...let the voice be exactly on the dot, and not after the number is displayed...there is a small lapse of time in between which I think u can fix with ease. Otherwise its great app
Just what i need for my workout session. It would be much better if it had a total time lapsed for the repeating counts
It's not a true countdown voice timer, but play with the settings and you can make it work for anything. It took me a while to find this type of app
It's a good app... But it can improve a lot. Delay is required in repeating the counts. Without delay its difficult to utilize for exercising
I needed a simple app that would read out numbers at one second intervals so I thought I hit gold with this app. Unfortunately, it doesn't work very well at all. The interval between numbers gets progressively long and longer (no matter how it's set) until it finally stops working altogether. Disappointing. :(
