The new app seems OK but as it's on my android head unit in my car it can be a pain because you have to tap the app then when it opens, you tap "radio" & you'd think it'd start playing but no, you then have to tap a tiny play button & then another (yes really) play button! It would be better if in the settings menu you could choose the default action to radio, TV etc. Also it has a tendancy to just stop playing & then jump back to about 30 seconds previously played.

App keeps repeating a second or two or cutting out for short periods, yet my internet signal is great. On radio, useless signal at home and in car where i live, yet LBC works without problems, but i cant stand them any more. The Plus signal still useless here. Since posting the above I've deleted the app and reinstalled a few times because I have been unable to switch it off, it freezes and even closing the app won't stop the audio. Very pretty but sad to see you've removed the automatic switch off timer. One of the most useful features when listening late at night. Guess I'll not be doing that anymore.

I have tried to look for the sleep timer as you suggested but I don't get the option after going full screen. There is just a stop button. I have tried the uninstall and install but still no joy. I'm using Samsung A52 5G.

Dreadful fill music every time adverts should be on, dont get me wrong adverts are annoying but listening to this atrocious music has me reaching for my earbuds and ripping them out when this rubbish comes on!

Need to move the play/stop button as you cannot see it clearly. Other than that best app and station along with talksport

Catch-up facility now back on the app, so once again a great way of listening/watching TalkRadio/TV's excellent content.

New catchup is better than old app but fast forward needs improving, 10 sec to 30 sec would be better and dragging time is less responsive than old app

App still plays radio even after shutting down completely, meaning I have to "Force stop" the app to stop it from playing.

Dreadful app which consistently drops the broadcasting connection, with no apparent fix.

I at least appear to be one of the lucky ones in as much as the app does work on my Samsung S8, but it is very poor from an operational point of view. My main criticism though is that apart from delving into the schedule, the app never shows who is "playing now". If you are unfamiliar with the station, it's useful to know who is on when you start listening, maybe even a photo of the presenter? That should be the first thing you see on opening the app. 16-12-20. Still no improvement.

I've been enjoying this app but in the last month or so the shows constantly drop out and I have to open the app again to restart the broadcast I'm listening to on my Samsung galaxy 9+. This is very annoying. Message to developer bring this app up to date and in line with the Talksport app which has much better functionality and great ease of use when listening to previous shows from their schedule.

Terrible RMS volume increases so much when adverts come on I have to turn volume down nearly annoying as the other reason this is not the app but this is a talkRADIO broadcasting issue. Secondly when out and about running off of the mobile network if the app loses the signal after a while app stops looking for a signal and stops requiring manual intervention to switch back on. Ok if walking but most annoying when driving you have to stop and press play to restart. Other than that great station.

Garbage, keeps dropping out then force closing after 5 minutes

Not always obvious how to download for later listening or even how to replay a programme. Got the hang of it better now. BBC sounds app is much more user friendly when leaving then rejoining. I often lose the signal at work but can't find where I was. Minor complaint but thought it worth mentioning all the above.

Best radio on the airwaves - always some problem with the app. Live radio stops playing when you up the volume using side buttons. When playing back radio shows from schedule page playback stops after an hour or so & you need to restart app. New phone, - Samsung A72 & latest system update, talk radio app updated to latest versions, no 3rd party apps etc.. installed. Please fix

For those of you like me who can no longer tolerate listening to the insufferable woke divisive agenda of a certain other radio station (you know the one) then I couldn't recommend talkRadio any higher. However, whilst there isn't a single criticism of the radio station itself amongst the reviews, there are many regarding the app, and it appears to be an ongoing issue, so come on talkRadio developers you really need to sort this out pronto !!

Really don't like this app, very bare bones & if you don't use a VPN with a built in ad blocker, you get really annoying regional ads based on your country, me in Ireland, such I'm not interested in at all. I hope Talk TV is a good replacement for the YT stream which I usually use.

Great content but the most appalling app I've ever had the misfortune to use. It makes me want to stop listening. The 30 minute sections deal is infuriating, you can't pause and resume the content and locating the shows I want to hear is truly cumbersome. 1/10 must do better
