I wouldn't bother with this app at all if I didn't like the radio station. The developers really don't care about the reliability of the app otherwise they would make it more stable. Good radio station, it deserves an app that works!
Terrible unusable it just cuts out then doesn't come back on. I'm up to date with latest version have a pretty new handset. I've deleted this from my phone...Review update 22/3/2022 I have been patient with this app for a long time I've also changed phones always running latest updates and it does same thing radio plays then stops I know it's not my connection etc I've downloaded Radioplayer app and Talksport works perfectly even when I listened live on web it cuts out periodically. Deleted
Still have Issues signing in ,told to refresh as they have issues ,even uninstalled and still not able to sign in,what a waste of time,its a joke, sky are only 1 star better,the issues have been ongoing for nearly 3 years looking at past reviews,sort this joke app out or take it away for good,and stop the live broadcasting of sport for good. See nothing back from anyone in charge,not worth trying to log in utter shambles
Very disappointing. As with some other users, I'm finding the app just drops off constantly, and have had to give up listening to the cricket. Signal here is fine, and no problem with other apps.
Downloaded this for the England/West Indies commentary. Works perfectly on my Samsung phone...no ads, no interupptions and also works while I'm travelling abroad! Wonderful, 5 stars!
Very disappointed that you can't play back in a live show. Also would assume the live video feed of certain shows would be on here too. This app could be so much more
I'm giving the app 1 star because 1. The app continues to play even after I have force closed it. 2. I have notifications switched off but I get the Talksport app trumpet sound from hell randomly which scares the bejaysus out of me.
Audio keeps cutting out, so barely usable. As such, talkSPORT having exclusive rights to cover England test cricket is an absolute tragedy.
Love the app easily my favourite. However sometimes (very rarely)I have an issue playing talksport in that I get no sound yet talksport 2 is fine. Any ideas why?
App won't allow log in and now has permanent 'temporary' problems. Reinstall doesn't help. Completely non-functional. Update: Now plays for two minutes and shuts off or returns to program start. Non-functional.
Adds adds adds, between now tv and bk adds randomly playing, you miss lots of content, its already bad enough with talksport having more breaks than snooker tournament.
Fine when it works, but the streaming is so glitchy. And no, it's not my broadband quality...
Don't waste your time. App fails to send verification email. Can't complete registration.

For an app that broadcasts two stations, it is woeful inconsistent at being functional
App just cuts out when the screen goes off bbc sounds and other apps work fine in the background
Being a visually impaired user, I was disappointed to find that this app, while partially accessible, is not completely so with the talkback screen reader on board my Android device. I would love to see buttons labeled correctly, and the tabs at the bottom of the screen do exactly what they're supposed to do. For example, when using the talkback screen reader with this app, I find that the command to open each tab, does not change what the onboard screen reader sees. Please fix?
Don't know how to feel about this update 🤔 On the one hand, the app hasn't disconnected on me once since updating, a marked inprovement, so kudos for that. Also the design is a lot cleaner, so again, well done there. On the other, the lack of articles through the app is a bummer as I used to enjoy that ease of use. But worst of all? The bloody app stays open when you close it unless you press stop before closing. Very frustrating when trying to take a call.
BROKEN. NO LONGER WORKING. GIVEN UP. This app used to do exactly what it says on the tin; however lately its has been glitchy and unreliable and quite frustrating. However now, it's just stopped working. Hasn't loaded for last 5 days. I've even uninstalled and reinstalled.....it now doesn't open at all. I'd like to use it every day but will likely forget about it if this isnt fixed. How difficult can it be nowadays to stream a radio show?
Of all the streaming apps I use, this is easily the worst. Drops out, stops or crashes every 5 minutes. I don't get this with any other app, so it's not my network at fault. If it wasn't for the fact that some live football games are exclusive to talksport, I wouldn't touch this app with a barge pole.
