I installed this app thinking that it would be an easy way for me to access my subscription to the Tallahassee Democrat without having to log in to their website. I didn't realize that it would incur a duplicate subscription for this publication. In other words, I ended up paying twice for my annual subscription. I caught my mistake the day the app subscription renewed, however, Google would not refund my subscription. So users of this app beware that it is not free.
APP repeatedly asks for people to subscribe or if the have an account to sign in. Once you sign in it frequently ignores that and asks for the same thing again and again. Once "in" and you start selecting and reading articles the APP will all of a sudden ask again to subscribe or sign in and the whole process starts again. It is absolutely ridiculous.
Contents are excellent. iOS works well, but the Android app can be buggy. I know of some Boomers that say they can't find content, but there is a search feature. Links to previous articles continue the story arc.
I pay my bill monthly (autopay) and I have to still sign in several times a day. Now it's saying I have to pay $2.99 to access what I've already paid for. This is ludicrous! I'm about finished with TDO.
never allows me to keep password. only app that i have that causes me to login every time. i have called their IT and they are unable to remedy. very frustrating
Find app very frustrating to operate. Starts very slow and frequently crashes. I enjoy the Democrat's content but am tiring of the fight to read it.
App displays opening screen then crashes. Used to function properly. Subscribed reader, can't read any contents.
Fine app but a bug is causing me to have to log in every single time I open the app, and taking a long time to load every time I do.
App is not working at all, will not open. Please fix! Also I didn't have to enter my password EVERY TIME I open it prior to a few months ago.
It is ridiculous that the app does not store the user password. It ultimately forces using stupid simple passwords.
Not working. Called newspaper regarding this and was told a fix was being released. No change to date.
There's nothing more frustrating than paying for a subscription only to have it filled with ads.
This app will bo longer open on my fire tablet. Deleted and reloaded, still won't open.
Recently, everytime I open the app I am asked to enter my password. This was not always the case.
Unable to login with 3rd party authentication. Makes the app unusable.
The app keeps crashing shortly after opening it.
App often locks up on my tablet. Very frustrating!!
App keeps closing Can't get it on phone anymore Wery disappointed
Awful its incredibly stupid to have to give username and password every effing time...good lord fix this sh**!
Have to sign in multiple times a day. Now app want even open.
I am not interested in any ads. Knock it off!
Have to keep reentering my password, almost daily.
Comics and front page on tablet are not available.?
I hate this app. Where the hell is the weather section???
Where is the account information? Under Account, you find nothing.
App continually so me to login.
Recently, this app has gotten buggy - login doesn't always work. As a paid subscriber, I find this unacceptable!
Longtime user. Disappointed it was offline so long, but seems to be working smoothly again!
They have come a long way . In depth local coverage, and good writing. A meaningful member of the fourth estate.
We pay more than it's worth for both the print and digital editions. Despite that and much too frequently, when I use the app and try to read the details beyond the headlines of each story, I get a notice that it's for subscribers only. Bad enough when there was a link to sign in and you had to sign in again. Lately, there's not even a link. I get the Washington Post and New York Times without those issues.
