Tamagotchi ON

Love the On itself, but the app feels very cheaply made. Connecting takes a while (and has bugged out on me several times), loading is frequent, and as others have mentioned, the games are poorly designed for getting a high score; it comes down to luck more than anything. There doesn't seem to be a way to send gotchi points from the app to the On without an item, either, which is downright strange. Hoping for a more stable and decent app in the future. They can do much, much better than this.

It needs a MAJOR upgrade. For a selling feature of an expensive toy, it is extremely lackluster. I always have trouble getting the tama to transfer. When I do, there is nothing to do. The profile doesn't have enough options or allow names, so it's hard to tell users apart. There is no option to "like" or "favorite" someone. No chat box to make new friends. Only 2 games, both need adjustment because they are impossible to win the prizes. No multiplayer games. The whole thing is just boring.

It's nice to have and I like that it expands the games and items etc. However it is extremely annoying that the one out of two games is mostly based on luck. If there are prizes at stake I want to win on skill not because the fruit so happens to fall close to each other. You can spend forever on that and still not get what you want no matter your skill level or how hard you try. It feels like a waste of time.

It's a fun little app that adds just a bit more to your Tamagotchi experience. It adds a couple new games to play and allows you to create a personalized avatar that you can see on both the app and the toy itself. There are limited time events that offer items and a chance to marry a special event Tamagotchi. There are a few other things to do on the app but not as much as one would like. The app can also be terribly slow and loading in can take some time. Overall, a decent app but not great.

App Keeps Crashing, makes all other apps stop working. It's so cute and I really wish I could enjoy it. I downlaoded this app earlier to go with my new Tamagotchi ON. On the first instance of me downloading it and playing it, it went fine. However, after doing other things, and then going back to it, it no longer gets past the loading screen before crashing. Plus it's been making all of my other apps say they aren't working and wont let me access them. I deleted it and redownload with no luck.

It's so boring. You have only 2 to 3 games to play. The prizes don't change on a monthly basis. All you do is stare at each other and mate. There's no "like" status system if you like how cute another Tama looks like. If I travel around city or state there's no reward system to collect items so what's the point of having GPS? The development of this app is so slow. What is going? The excitement for the app is gone. I will change my rating only if some major improvements happen quickly.

Only able to connect the Tamagotchi ON device to the app at the very 1st time. Then I have not been able to connect to the app. I have followed the instructions. The bluetooth and the location have been turned on. However, not able to connect. Tried to reset the Tamagotchi ON device. Same thing happened. Not able to connect. Someone need to look into and fix the bluetooth connection issue.

I am with everyone else with the games. They are impossible to get a top prize since it is all pure rng. No skill. They need to fix this and add more games. Also I am constantly getting stuck on a please wait screen when trying to transfer my tamagotchi in. The first time it happened I thought I was going to lose my tamagotchi. Luckily I figured out how to get it back in that scenario. Either way that is a big glitch that should of been fixed by now.

Been using this for nearly a year now with my Pink Fairy Tamagotchi On. Definitely would suggest it, adds a whole extra layer of interaction to it~ Although it hasn't been updated in a while- new minigames would be fun! Or more exclusive items. In the end it works great, no major complaints (just some small qol complaints). It's just not often updated at all. Ever since I first got it in December last year, still haven't recieved an update.

I agree with previous reviews about the mini-games. It's impossible to win the decent prizes because you'll almost always have bad RNG. (You can catch every single fruit and still only get 500 points?) The app itself is also really slow and clunky. I doubt they'll fix anything though as the same problems have existed for even longer in the Japanese app as well.

Easy to use. Fun extension for your Tamagotchi On and Meets. Only downside is you can only connect up to 3 devices and only one at a time time. If you want to connect a 4+ you have to choose to overwrite the data of an existing one. An easy and fun way to make more tamagotchi money and win items like food, toys, and rooms (for the store so you can purchase). Allows you to meet other unique characters and maybe get lucky with a proposal or the matchmaking game.

Its very cute & I love being able to connect with more people. The games are pretty good time wasters but dont seem to be set up properly. The timer makes it near impossible to win any of the bigger prizes. I've managed it once on the fruit catch game but never again. Currently its limited in what there is to do i.e two games, matchmaker, meeting/marrying other tamas, & so far one seasonal event. I look forward to more features & events being added. Maybe they'll even fix the games soon 😅

I can barely connect to the app or download the presents. And the app is so bare that it quickly becomes boring playing the same games over and over, it makes me miss the old tama town more and more. I would rather have the option to enter a code again like they did with the music tamagotchi, the bluetooth barely works for this app. The app is more of a hassle and letdown than it should be

Catching Flowers is unfair since it relies upon random flowers falling to get 1000 pts. Usually 1000 worth doesn't even fall from the sky. Should be skill based instead. Been playing it trying to get the rocket and it's basically impossible. Even if I get every flower, most games end between 500-700pts. Also, app has issues trying to connect while Tama is out, you have to go back then reconnect. Needs more games and more places to walk around.

HORRIBLE game design. The mini games you play give you gifts based on your score. The best prizes are nearly unobtainable. The games require little skill and rely heavily on randomness. The only way to get the best prize is to have a perfect game with perfect RNG. E.g., you have 1min to match as many items as possible. Each match takes a MINIMUM of 3-4 seconds, including animation time. To get the high score, you need 17 matches. This is impossible w/o good RNG. The fruit game is way way worse.

I like this app for being able to marry other Tamas, and I like the mini games. I'm only giving it three stars because while marrying Tamas today, I kept having connection failure for no reason. I tried several times and I gave up, tried with someone else and it worked. Had no issues prior but this was frustrating. Needs a delete present function or transfer multiple presents at once.

This app is barely functional. When a Tamagotchi enters the park, I'll frequently get stuck on an endless loading screen, requiring me to restart the app (sometimes up to 3 times) before I can get in. As others mentioned, most top prizes awarded by minigames are legitimately impossible to win. I would have rated the app one star, but it was worth bumping to two because being able to marry other 'gotchis around the world is very fun.

I really like this for the Tamagachi. It kinda eliminates the need for two of them because you can get married in the app to another. However, I do have some complaints. The first has to do with the instructions to bring your Tama over. You have to turn on Bluetooth And your Location, that isnt clear in the instructions. My second is there isnt much to do other than the two games and they dont have any fun after while.

This is super useful, especially for looking for marriage partners. Its very good because you can get traits that arent on the device!! Also i think of one change, and its sending the tamagotchi to the app till its an adult. Its because the Tamagotchi during teen stage or younger, when visiting the app it stops growth. Also another thing that this is good for is for items that you cant even buy! I would also want you guys to add more storage space for items. Overall, its epic.

The app feels very cheap. Back in 2007 i grew up with the one that connected to the computer. There were multiple mini games, online exclusives, and options to connect to multiple towns. The app they've provided is chunky and bare boned. Hope for much more improvement.

More content plz! I love my Tamagotchi On- as a kid who grew up with the original virtual pet, it's exciting to revisit the idea on an updated, full-color device. I only wish this app (as well as the device) had more content to engage with. Though I've had my tama for a little over a week now, the 4 games I'm able to play with my pet have started to become repetitive. Maybe I've yet to unlock all additional content, but I hope this app continues to get updated with new games/items to play with.

Major upgraded needed, including multi-import, it features an impossible game requiring 1140 points at the restaurant, that literally being next 1mm from the screen isn't enough time because the animations take to long to change. I made it to that 'last choice" once out of 50+ games.. ment for kids.6+, I am a gamer, who plays things like Moba's that require split second decisions there is no way in hell a 6-14yr. What's worse if ur lucky and get that 2-3 sec lead it locks up causing u to fail.

This app is so awesome! I love the updates and new items and characters you can play with each month or so. The games are challenging, which makes the prizes more rewarding! You really can win the high prizes if you keep at it. The only downside is how risky marriage is with people who use the mymeets software, otherwise the fact you can get genetics from tamagotchis you don't have is really cool.

I've been trying for over a week to connect to the app and every time it fails. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.. !Edit! If you're having trouble connecting in general, make sure your bluetooth and location are on, that seemed to be my issue and it's working completely fine now!

I find it really neat that your tamagotchi can interact on your phone, like another universe! Aesthetically though, the combination of traditional 8-bit graphics and clunky "modern" cartoons definitely clash with each other. I would love it if everything was 8-bit and took advantage of the size of a phone screen for way more games and activities (i.e. building an entire house with different rooms) I love tamagotchi! I just wish that you could do more with this $80 toy.

It's a good app with fun things to do and great rewards for your Tamagotchi On device, but there are bugs that cause the app to not always work well, especially when it comes to connecting the device to the app. Beyond that though it's nice being able to get so many rewards on the go in the app and then redeem them in my game

With the exception of poor connectivity to my Tamas, the app is wonderful. 3 stars for a terribly sporadic connection issue. Will update if the connection problems decrease in frequency. As a side note, both of my Tamagotchi On devices are brand new, so I know the connection instability is not due to the devices themselves.

I appreciate being able to marry other Tamagotchis over the Internet, especially worldwide! However, I do think the games are a bit flawed. A bit more variation in the games would be nice. Other than that, I think it's a decent companion app! Hope they improve this app as time goes on (despite the original Japanese version of the app having been released in 2018)!

Amazing! Nostalgia with a new twist!! My friends I grew up with whom had old connects, are now obsessed with the new Tamagotchi On's I introduced them to! In fact many of them have bought several versions lol. My friends who don't have the cutest of devices just yet, enjoy playing this app, as it works just fine without the device! What a fun and better way to get items, and meet\make new friends who share the love for Tama as much as you do!!! The mini games and prizes!!!! Easy to transfer item

The concept is great but the lack of social features makes it sort of useless for the advertised "communication". Users are still limited to sending messages directly from device to device. Maybe write a message on the device to a friend and the message is sent next time you send your Tama to the app. This app should be for people without friends with Tama in person to enjoy the social features otherwise unavailable to them. It's really just a way to earn coins and random items on your phone.
