Tanach Bible - Hebrew/English
The Judaica Press English translation of Rashi on Tanach is available as an in-app purchase! This translation includes many added explanatory notes and references to expand your understanding of both Rashi's commentary and the Tanach. You can now study Rashi in two easy-to-view parallel columns of Hebrew and English.
Tanach Bible is available for all Android versions. For users with devices running Android 4.2 or later, a new user interface with many enhancements has been added. The new user interface includes easier navigation, pinch-to-resize for the Tanach text screens, and night mode.

For users running earlier versions of Android, Tanach Bible requires no special Hebrew support. It’s built into the app!

I have been using this wonderful tool for a long time. It's user interface is second to none. However, I am disappointed by the recent change to the text layout and its sans-serif font. Please provide an option to restore the serif font layout.

Edit: All Fixed! This is the best scriptural app available in the Play Store, hands down. I enjoy every update and am very very happy with the developers. They keep it current and are always adding new features. Wonderful.

Easy searchs and intuitive and simple navigation make this a great app. Unfortunately the display has not been getting enough attention and even after my mail to Davka, there is no night mode. In addition font size control needs improvement.
I've been considering buying this for a long time, now I wish I hadn't hesitated! The text is crisp and clear even the vowel points. I don't understand Hebrew, but I know how to read it, this is perfect. I can read the English for comprehension and see the Hebrew right next to it to see what words were used (very helpful when trying to learn Hebrew meaning). The Rashi commentary is a separate cost, but a VERY small amount compared to a physical copy! Oh, Rashi can be read in English too. Thanks Davka!
Thank you so much for making this tanach app,,,all OTHER tanach apps are infested by messianic christians,,this is the only one I have found to be true to the Hebrew txt,,I AM RECOMMENDING IT TO EVERYONE
Unbelievable! all of Tanach with English translation... on my phone! Absolutely recommend. Clear concise and with Rashi in English.. Too good. Bookmark any pasuk & add notes! (Would be even better if the developer added sync between devices) Amazing value. Many thanks to the developer & much success on further developments. Please add sync.
I love the app and Rashi's commentary. I use it practically everyday. The company was also great to respond and help me when I had to reinstall the app on a new phone and I couldn't see Rashi's commentary. A great company and a great product. I look forward to other applications that they develop in the future.

used it for many years. the searching tool is amazing in English and Hebrew, great for seeing all occurances of partocular words or phrases. would help if headers could be be a choice of parsha or the standard pasuk number.
