First time travelling with TAP and loved everything even the 7 hour stop over all staff was helpful, kind, and it's great to see lady captain aboard! The person next to me said what a smooth landing I told him it was a lady well done.the app is one of the easiest to use I have dyslexia and learning problems and I can use it and think it's great.cant wait to book my next flight
There are still many bugs. For example pressing the 'add extras' button when looking at one of my bookings always gives the following error: Webpage not available The webpage at .... could not be loaded because: net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET Don't get the point of offering this app in the first place. All it does is open webpages.. Ironically on these websites they will be suggesting to you to download the app... If this is the best you can do, then don't offer anything at all. This is embarrassing
If there was a gold medal for appalling airline apps, this one would be a perennial champion. Having taken an age just to register my personal details - the thing repeatedly creates 'error' messages - it was more than frustrating again when dozens of attempts were made to update my profile page - again more error messages. If you are considering downloading this worthless app, save yourself a lot of grief, and don't bother.
After several hours trying to sign up so I can book my flights I'm now giving up. I have contacted support but didn't even get a response. Worst experience with an app so far and it's 2022. Come on, this shouldn't be this difficult!
Bugged out during going through the payment method... Literally I selected Paypal as a payment method and I have more than 1 card on my Paypal account and literally it went through the payment method and completed the whole thing instead of letting me select a payment method, now I do not know what card it will take the payment from and I need to wait 18 hours for the payment to go through... contacted support and I am waiting to hear back from them....
Long way to be considered a good app. Crashing a lot and, when compared with other airlines apps, huge difference in terms of information and what can be done. So, still a long way to deserve a 3 stars rating which I think should be the minimum to get.
Trying to manage my booking has been impossible. After being on hold on the phone 1h 1min 46sec they hang up. I need to change my flight, the website doesn't have this option. The worst customer experience I've ever had with an airline.
Worst app and website ever, I don't know how it's possible for an air company rely on such a buggy website for years now, from login problems to bad UX, menus that are confusing and result on constant errors, it just provides an awful experience to its customers every single time.
App doesn't match website account. My flight was cancelled. I only knew it because I logged into my account on a computer. I applied for credit vouchers. The app still shows the flight unchanged.
Customer service isn't all that bad when the line is decent which has been hit and miss while trying to sort some bits out. Totally agree with the low star ratings for the app. The app said a few hours to check in, try to check in and it's not even opened for check in - added stress to what should be a very simple task. Falls short of other airlines by far.
The most bugged app I've ever used. I've been using apps since ever and this has to be the worst and most bugged app ever. Hard to understand how can you build and release something like this. I would report the bugs but there are so many that it becomes hard. I don't know what you're doing with our money but please fix this, it's unbearable. Can't do anything, worthless.
Since the last update it has been rubbish. Keeps crashing and it's impossible to search flights. Tried to re-install multiple times but still won't work.
Terrible app, worse airline. The app consistently sends to broken links, and vital information can't be accessed. Need to change your flight? Good luck, broken link. Want to see the conditions of your flight? Again, broken link. Just a trash app for a trash airline
The app is constantly directing you to web pages that don't work and now the flight search doesn't even work... This way, it is pretty much useless.
Does not work. Tried to check a reservation, tried to create account. Keep getting error message: "an error occurred try again later"
Barely works. Look up my reservation, error msg appears, but then shows it. Does not save my flights, need to add it again every time. Not really an app, more of a glorified bookmark that just opens a webview window of the TAP webpage. Which then also recommends to "get the TAP app here", showing it really is not a true app. Portugal, you can do so much better than this.
App won't open, says phone is "Rooted". I downloaded another app to check, it isn't Rooted.
It has to have been the most infuriating experience I've had to date with an app. The server was a mess, slow and crashed most of the items, showing the code instead. When I tried paying the app decided to use the second passenger name (no idea what happened on the server side for that to happen) on the debit cart instead of the one I inputted, thus making the transaction fail, and now the only way to fix it is to contact phone support, which takes forever to answer me.
Terrible experience. Most of the functionality is delivered from browser page that the app keeps launching. When a browser opens its not possible to check in using Firefox and you have to restart the process in Chrome. If you are flying TAP then there isn't much of an alternative but as Airline Apps go this is one of worst I've seen. Not sure where the 2.9 rating is coming from as every review I've read from people who have actually tried to use gave it 1 star.
At the beginning ,this app was quite good. Now not really. It's not the first time this has happened to me, that I use miles to get a discount, the payment doesn't go through and I'm not allowed to go back and choose another form of payment. The payment is then "standing", after 24h the booking is cancelled and I've lost the miles like that. I guess it's worth flying with another airline.
Installed it before reading the reviews. Absolutely useless. Can't even find my booking and it won't let me register. No problem accessing my booking on my laptop. The app is a complete joke.
Thank you kindly for making Our Lives "Easier"...specially during these Confusing Times. Already thinking in Our Next Trip with you guys, thanks to this new Application
The worse airline app ever. You depend of internet and the browser to see anything. So forget of having your boarding pass in the app when in a country with no roaming plan or bad signal. Also wrong information on the boarding pass which made me suffer a lot of stress and almost miss my flight. Thanks God it was delayed but not info at all about the delay on the app or on the monitoors. An authentic nightmare. I put a star because this doesnt let me post without.
Difficult to complete ! seriously inaccurate information eg check in times terminals at Gatwick
Easy to use and notifications do help knowing latest requirements for travelling.
Been treaded very nice, staff always ready to help.
Fed up with this app and complaining about it to customer service, that's when you can reach them without hanging on for one hour plus to be answered !!!!!. So many glitches make what should be a simple process take hours or even want to make you give up and choose another airline where you have a choice. Such a shame as it's quite a nice airline once you get on the plane,decent legroom and very good service there!
