The interface is clean and simple to use, but I cannot seem to "save" any of my tapped tempos as the app described I should be able to. Hopefully, they fix this issue in the future. After writing the developer about the issue saving your playlist, he quickly (within a day) responded and fixed the issue. The app runs great now its nice to see someone stand behind their product. Great service and highly recommended if you need a simple tap tempo that can save a playlist.
It is indeed a simple and great app to find the temp, however I have one feedback. Average is not the best way to look at the tempo since one outlier will skew the entire data, instead you can look at the median, or include median too. You could also remove those outliers and then calculate the average. Well these are my suggestions to improve it. But anyways with or without my suggestion, it is simple and great.
Absolutely superb. Well done Saravanan, a very useful app. I'm happy to pay for the 'pro' version just to thank you for your work in offering this. I'm a musician and producer and I regularly have to guess at tempo's but your app makes it a breeze. Thanks again.
This app works great. Before I downloaded it I read some of the reviews and a lot of things that other reviewers had noted as something to improve have been implemented very well, like the BPM being able to be calculated for an average number of beats specified by the user. Definitely recommend if you're looking for something to help improve your tempo.
I removed and reinstalled and the problems went away. One never knows if issues with an app are changes to the app or changes to the OS. That's for your reply. It does what it is supposed to do now.
It did what I wanted it to do. I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't for one issue. Once I stop tapping the border around most of the screen starts flashing rapidly and it's extremely annoying.
This is a really easy to use app that I use constantly to find my bpm when I'm making a song on guitar or piano, it doesn't bombard you with ads and it's super simple and intuitive to use.
Past 2 updates would not install on my S9. Gives me error code 910. I tried all the trouble shooting tips suggested by google to no avail. I only get this error with this app. all others update without issue.
Most intuitive and responsive of the tap tempo apps I have tried for use in research. Kudos on a great simple UI, and I love the spline graph!
Tap tempo is so very simple to use and performs as advertised. It deserves to be ranked among the best apps in the Google Play store
It does what it's supposed to, but the app updates every other day. Seems suspect, I don't trust a low feature, one use app to be updating that often.
Great app, would be even better if there was a home screen widget. Would gladly pay for the pro version if this was included.
It's not even clear how to use it. Do you tap on that big circle or do you get to hear a song like shazam and wait for thw result ? On top of that, this person posts a bunch of pictures here with no explanation as to how the app works. Reeks of lack of professionalism.
Had a problem with a stuck update, reinstall fixed. Very handy to pull out at rehearsal and wave at the drummer.
Does what it should, but updates every single day. Why? Seems very shady to me... Edit: the developer replied immediately and made it clear that reinstalling fixes the issue. I will try that and update my review afterwards
As a dj works for me. Simple and free. Although now it asks to update, but won't install the update. Note 10+
Simple to use tempo meter. unfortunately for last 2 years I can't update it. even outdated still useful and works well.
Works perfectly. Tap tap tap... and there's the tempo info you need.
Clean and simple, would be cool i f you could add a widget so i wouldn't have to open the app and i could quickly tap the tempo i need
I can easily tap the beat and get the BPM. So much faster than calculating it with my watch
Excellent app. It has a really natural feel. A must for any beat-mixing DJ.
Ads are out of control. I'd pay good money to never see them but that doesn't seem to be an option. Otherwise good appm
Can't keep time, snare hit is off. Clunky UI. horrible.
Great App. does exactly what it says - Tap Tempo. As a composer an app like this is really helpful.
Excellent. Very accurate, very forgiving of missed or inaccurate taps.
Best I've found but then ads. I'd have forked over a dollar for ad-free.
Love the app but now it only shows first 2 numbers for some reason. Fix it and i will buy pro version.
Love it! Notes: 1) Instantaneous reading is inaccurate. I steady tap a 112BMP song and I do get that average, but individual readings vary 106-120. 2) Add a 3rd graph -- rolling average of perhaps the past dozen (settable #) taps, so I can see if my band gradually speeds up over time. 3) I'd love to be able to scroll along the final graph. Maybe even with "pinch" to compress/expand. 4) If I save a song, restore should restore graph. 5) Support screen rotation, for wide-as-possible graph. Thanks!
