This app could be great, I am not a fan of the business model but that's another story. I have rarely had such a tedious experience with a comics reading app, it never remembers where I am in the comic and most of the times just switching from portrait to landscape will either make me go back to the beginning of the chapter or go back 4 or 5 chapters earlier, the worst is when the chapter's title stays the same but the content of the chapter is the one of the previous one. Lots more bugs too.

You need an internet connection to view downloaded chapters, making the feature useless. For users with no data plan, there is therefore no advantage to using the app as opposed to accessing the site from a desktop. I hope this is not intended behavior and this gets a fix soon. I will re-evaluate my rating if and when that happens.

Reads, but: No option to jump to a particular chapter (other than last opened) in list of 1000. Can't find button to turn off 1-tap after turning it on. FAQ states bulk purchases are available during sales, but I am still forced to unlock one by one during current sale. It seems to be designed to prevent taking full advantage of sales. A terrible experience, and leads me to believe the company does not have readers' best interests in mind, if not outright misleading and exploitative.

I like the stories on this app, but sometimes it takes the ink I learned and reduces it to what it was before, it did this at least 2 to 3 times for some reason, and I haven't used it, since I'm saving it. Also for some reason I feel like some stories have the same plot like being reborn into a Villainess and stuff like that, I like their work but they should be a bit more creative, it gets a bit boring. Other than this the app is pretty good, if you fix this I'll give it 5 stars.

Is like to give this 5 stars... but more often than not my app just gets stuck in the yellow startup screen. And I'll exit it and start again and again and again. Sometimes it'll start and the comics won't load...wifi or data, doesn't matter. Or the app will go to the landing page after startup but all the banners and comic thumbnails are stuck in loading. It's pretty frustrating.

I find it a great app. Ink is easily obtained without hemorrhaging money. Love the new scrolling option. Only issue I have to deal with now is getting stuck on the loading screen. Which the only way I can quickly get out of it is clearing the apps data or redownloading the entire app, it becomes a bit tedious after some time.

I like the stories that are on Tapas but as far as the app goes it needs some work. There are times when the app just stops loading/working not matter how good my wifi/data is, it's very frustrating when you are reading a story and it just stops working and won't work until a few hours later.

It would be great if you could view your subbed list with more options. For instance, I've been wanting to be able to sort by/view only premium or non-premium options for a long time. It would make it easier to find titles of things I don't remember the names of but remember which category it's in. And speaking of categories, it would be amazing if we could look for new comics by choosing more than one category. If comics can be listed under more than one category, why can't we search likewise?

The quality is really good. Not enough variety though. A lot of "reincarnated as a [noble lady here]". Some touch on a serious subject but are really poor at exploring it and find an "instant fix" but others are really entertaining. I really like "50 tea recipes from the duchess" and "My life as an Internet novel". It's a little expensive for me. But, I'd say, it's definitely worth it. Tapas, please add a screenshot feature similar to Webtoons for fanart and avatars.

Absolutely love this app, great selections of webtoons to read. The only thing that would make it the best is if it downloads the whole chapter at once instead of downloading it as I read it. Whenever I am on the train/underground, I have to wait to get signal at the next station instead of being able to read in between the station. It's very annoying and disrupts the whole flow.

It's a great app and its relatively easy to get free ink. The only problem I have is that sometimes (like about three times) some episodes were getting lost. Like I was buying the episodes and getting charged but I couldn't read the episode. I just lost 900 ink and got absolutely nothing. That's the only problem however. Its easy to get your account back and I really love the app. If you could fix this, thanks.

I enjoy reading on the app, it has a good collection of series. I don't know if it's na issue of me having fat fingers or what, but when I try clicking on a story to read updates, it will for some reason unsubscribe. I then have to go and hunt it down and subscribe again. It's happened 4+ times already. I'm very careful with how I click on stories now, but it KEEPS happening. Honestly, kind of annoying. Other than that, good experience.

I love the comics, they have amazing stories and art. The only downfall is that the app doesn't load sometimes and sometimes won't show that the comics are up. Sometimes I uninstall and reinstall just to get it to work. Also if there's an ad with an interesting looking comic, it won't give you the title. It's frustrating

My app of choice for nearly three years, but then it got very buggy with comics never fully loading. I use it for some comics, but it has been annoying. More than 2 stars for the nostalgia. Last year (I think) I completed one of those free ink deals - where you download a game and get to xyz level. I hit the harder target, got my ink (a large sum 10k+), and now I'm never able to look at the other offers again. Whether it's the app broken or the app refusing me, I don't know. It's infuriating.

I love the service and their content however the app itself has its problems. Most of the time when I open the app, I do not get past the tapas yellow splash screen. I am also convinced they are not clearing previously read chapters from memory during a reading session as the performance of the app typically gets worse and worse the longer you use it. For reference I am using a pixel 6 pro on Android 12.

After not using this app for a while as I've been waiting for updates for comics, I came back to open the app on a lovely Sunday only to see my account data has been erased. Now, I've worked hard to get ink, unlock WUF, but this still happens. I am NOT starting over again. I went to log back in and the app is registering my email as a new account, when I've had mine since January of 2022. I suggest you fix this soon or you will be getting a very heartfelt email from me regardless if you respond

Really love using this app, would give it a 5 but there are two things that hold me back. First every so often the app will open but nothing loads in (my internet isn't the issue as I've run tests), but this is usually resolved after a day. The second is that the points you buy don't get you very far. I understand that it is to help pay the artists and creators but to finish some comics I have to fork out enough money that would be equal to buying 3 or 4 hard copies. Definitely expensive.

I gave this app 4 stars because, I felt like the picture quality of the manga's are really good. And there are not a lot of adds. There is also a wide range manga's, and they advise you about the content of the manga's. What i dislike is the fact that you have to wait 3 days for the next episode and the fact that you have to pay ink for an instant read. This app requires a lot of patience sometimes. But overall the app is good and easy to navigate with nice manga's.

I've come back to Tapas with a lot of subscribed series updates. Over a hundred in fact. And there is not a delete all feature. I had to delete them all one by one, and half the time I clicked three red minus button--much to my annoyance--it clicked on the series instead. It was a whole bunch of failed attempts and back and forths.

It's the worst reading app I have seen so far in the aspect of optimization, pictures aren't loading, novel texts are messy, it's lagging sooooo hard it's like the programmer tried to make it miserable. Th only good think are the creator's but the site is garbage. And it's not like this is a new "feature" it's like this since 2 YEARS. I love the novels and mangas but damn I will switch as soon as something else exists.

I can read the comics fine no problem however though the way they just allow you to "earn ink" is just some rubbish in my opinion. I literally played through 100 plus levels of a water sort puzzle did the steps as stated to do but here is the catch though as always it's up to the "advertisers" of said-game you downloaded to issue the ink once again in my opinion rubbish because now I downloaded a second app and played through ten levels picture cross color just wow still no ink. 😥😭 Come on now

Sometimes there are changes to the app I don't like or that take getting used to, but overall works ok. Always prefer reading on desktop but good for some on the go reading. Update May 2022: half the time the app just doesn't want to load/open and I don't know what the problem or workaround is besides trying again later, which sometimes works.

WAIT FOR FREE DOES NOT WORK! currently having an issue with not being able to unlock my free episodes after the timer is up. I used to mass unlock 45 episodes after the wait for free times were ready. Now its more like 5 to 10 work. UPDATE: almost every series I read now with wait for free no longer works. Also, many surveys for ink are false when it comes to the amount rewarded, time they take to complete, and qualifications. Some surveys just close on their own with no reward.

Tapas really stands out compared to other comic/novel apps! It is very organised and creates a great experience for readers! They have a system where you can read certain comics/novels every 24hours or depending on how long it's set. They also give you the opportunity to earn more ink by either doing task, inviting new people, or watching a video. They also have a very impressive feedback team who are lightning fast to respond to your feedback! Best app ever >:))

Some of the stories are great, and the challenges for ink are a really nice concept. However, they don't always give the rewards to you. The customer service used to help with that, but nowadays I'm not so sure. I was told twice that my missing ink (over 30,000) was sent to my account after I contacted customer service, and twice nothing happened. I paid ten bucks for some of that ink and never got it, so maybe think twice before spending any of your money on this app.

Great app full of so many great stories ranging from true epics, to heart wrenching tales... (...when it works) I would have given this app 5 stars, if not for that fact that at times it is unstable and down right unusable. At first I thought it was my Internet, but after using mobile data and other Internet networks, I've found that it is the servers the app runs on that has the issues. Please solve this issue, as its ruining what is otherwise a great app.

Amazing stories! Super creative creators (hehe)! I don't even mind the ads. I've even recommend this to several of my friends. Only thing I hate is that it glitches sometimes, but that could also just be my phone. Other than that, 10/10 would recommend!

It was good and all until I was unlocking a WUF, and it was working out until I clicked on the episode to read it. When I did, only the comments appeared and I couldn't scroll up to read the actual episode. When I exed out of the episode, it said it wasn't unlocked. I tried closing the app, refreshing, and so much more yet I still couldn't read it. Regardless, the app is great because there are so many originals and options to choose from. Thanks tapas, but please fix the glitch!🙂

Love the app but something strange started after the most recent update. I am able to flip the order of the chapter from descending to ascending and back at will and it would stay that way for that story until I changed it but since the new update, it reverts back to default (which is not my preference) as soon as I exit a chapter. I'm hoping this gets fixed on the next update
