Tape it Up!

It's a cute 16-bit arcade game but there is something weird going on. As the others pointed out, the app name is suspicious when I saw the name at the menu screen; instead of the name of the game itself, it read as the lowercase name (forgot the name). There are other inconveniences too, such as one of the powerups in the mystery box is an ad, which is no fun at all, the volume is just a toggle instead of sliders, and the instructions are too vague. Overall cute game, but play with caution.

This game is a work of art. I am not good at it, but I keep playing because it's so nice to look at. I love collecting the different characters and seeing the way the background changes for each one. It's excellent; one of the very best games I've played on the app store. Major props to the dev team for the quality game, artwork, and overall experience. The ads are not aggressive, either, which is appreciated.

This is an amazing game! The 16-bit (or whatever it is-bit) is so charming and unique, yet classic. There are normally little to no ads, and I love the choice of music. Although (unless it's intentional), there may be a bug where the little boost button you ise before you start a run makes you pay nothing. Also, I think it'd be great to add a sort of buying menu where you can buy specific characters in-game for the currency in the game, and some different music, too. Love the game overall, tho!

The graphics are super cute, but if you're only starting, it's hard to get a grip on what to do because of the lack of written instructions - I still don't know how I get points! Also, the unlocked characters should be bunched together, as it's very hard to scroll over all the locked characters just to find those that you've unlocked. Still a very addicting game, though.

This was a hard rate - I wanted to rate this 4 stars at first. The game is well made, there's very little lag during the start-up, but after a game it gets corrected. The only time you face long ads, is the optional ones where the user gains something. The random ads only last 0-5 seconds and only happen with a 1 in 4 chance in the mystery boxes in-game. The currency system is really nice, because it's not P2W. All-in-all, it's actually well worth playing.

awesome game, and i love the graphics. i love how detailed it is, yet so simple. it really shows how much effort must have went into this game with the individual sounds for each character. it is really easy to play, with just enough challenge, getting harder as you go. it takes a really unique and well made game for me to put 5 stars. there is one problem. the ads are all for the same app. two different alternating ads for the same app, and its an app by the developers of this game.

This app is amazing! The controls are great, the art style is super cute and the game runs so smooth. The only thing I have to say is that since I don't have Facebook, I can't save my characters. Maybe you could try to add Google Play Games to linking progress. And maybe a few more characters as well like maybe a bee. Overall, I feel like just adding Google Play services to save progress would be very appreciated.

Very cute game! Fun gameplay with adorable character unlockables with fun features that make you want to get all of them! However, the game stutters in places, which can really wreck your progress. Plus, being forced to watch ads mid-game really kills the flow and takes me straight out of the experience, which is very very unfortunate. Overall, still fun and enjoyable, but does have some hiccups that may put people off.

Swiping left and right to avoid obstacles or follow a path is by no means a new or unique concept. It's probably right up there with Match-3's in terms of Most Common Kind of Mobile Game. And yet, Tape It Up! manages to wrap this old mechanic in such a charming and cute package (pun intended) that it feels fresh, and most certainly fun. Plus, you can collect playable characters which is honestly the selling point of any game for me.

So addictive! The quality is great! I love the little figures there are! Makes me wanna play more to get the all! And if you want one right away, it's just $0.99!!! Incredible! Plus, they are very clever when it comes to showing ads. They rarely appear, but when you land in a box, it randomly picks, which I love btw.

As someone with ADHD sometimes I get severely under-stimulated, and this game is the perfect solution for whenever it happens. There's just so much visual information on the screen at once that it clears up any under-stimulation in just a few seconds. Plus I really like how the adverts were done, gives you a little warning before you get one and you don't really get them very often anyway :)

This game is AMAZING 👏 It has beautiful graphics and cute little tape machines with cute little designs and animations which gives the game a lot of potential. And one of the best parts is that there is barely any ads! When you go into the mystery box durning the game it has a few choices (that you dont choose) and one of them is ads but you can skip right away (at least for me) and you'll get coins! I highly recommend this game

It's a cute game and I definitely recommend, but I am definitely uninstalling it. I wanted a cute little casual game that I could play while listening to something else, but this game has no visible settings menu. So the entire time the in game music was blasting, I couldn't listen to anything else. Please put an audio menu in and I'll be happy to redownload and change my rating.

I love the game! The concept is interesting and yet simple and I have a huge soft spot for adorable characters. Gaining all the coins to get new characters is literally my favorite part of the game. Now my only critic is that there are way too many ads. I get that we all have to make a living. We want as many people as possible to use our apps and play our games, but bombarding people with ads isn't necessarily going to bring in new consumers. For the most part you just annoy the people trying to actually play the game. Can you please adjust your ad pop ups or give an option for people that truly love your game to buy the ads out completely. Thank you so much for creating this game and I hope you continue to make amazing content in the future.

This game is wonderful, it may have both ads and microtransactions but none of it is forced. Ads are only seen if you choose to see them or by random chance, they don't get in your way or butt in when you're trying to do something, they stay relatively reserved. And the microtransactions are barely noticeable, if you want to spend money you can, but it doesn't tell you to or even incitivise it. And the game is great, it's well designed, not demanding, and very fun! It looks great as well!

I actually love this game, it's well made with great pacing. The problem is that the ads that are shown cause the app to crash AND no rewards are given upon restart. Plus any progress on the run that the ad crashed in is erased. So got a new high score and want to continue? Just kidding, the score is gone after the ad. Want extra coins for voluntarily watching an ad? Naw, no coins, only ad. This game deserves 5 stars, but there are many ads, and with constant crashing, it becomes unplayable.

One of the best games on my phone. Great game that's fun to play but difficult to master, charming retro graphics, and really good music. Challenges are available every few hours or so, encouraging you to open the game and get some new characters (you can get 68 as I am typing it) for a price of 1000 coins, which some say is too high, but I personally think it's a fair amount and it's rewarding once you reach it. Really fun game to play, and is definitely worth downloading.

I played it for a while, its really fun. I wouldn't say addictive, but just my experience. I wish there was more instrustion at the beginning. At points I was confused if I should or shouldn't jump on certain boxes. Coins aren't very hard to get, but its takes a little while. Thats all, if you want a time killer this is perfect!

This game is great! I Love the graphics, The Quality, and It's an offline game! My favourite part about this game is that it's so cute! But, the issue here is that one time, while I was playing, the game just froze and Automatically Left the game, so Please fix this problem!! Aside from that, the game is fun and simple. So I'll rate it 5 stars! Can't wait for new updates!! :D

This game is pretty good actually. The devs done at it best. I admire how you customized the detail of every characters, like everytime i change the character, the background, the sound effects, the theme music is also change. The effort is way too good. I don't mind to watch all the ads to get the new characters because it's really worth, not forcing to watch it instead. Cool. The game play is simple, it's like collecting all the characters with playing mini game. I enjoy it. Good job!

A simple cute game with lots of equally adorable characters to unlock. I think there should be a different way to choose tape. Maybe change it to a full screen of the characters instead, or add scrolling arrows to make it less tedious finding the tape you want to play as. And the random dice should always be visible.

The game is very fun and addictive. its a great way to kill time and to relieve stress. its very fun to play as all the different cute characters and to play in different themes. i just wish that there was more characters to unlock and more levels to complete. more challenges or more gameplay. love the game with a passion!!

Listen, I want to like this game. It has cute graphics and it's easy to understand. The problem is the ads. Not only are they inconvenient, they also crash the app. I always have to close out and restart. So I can't really get hooked into the game. Also, I think the character selection menu is tedious

I like this game, it's fun, cute, and simple, but the music can kind of get annoying, and I wanted to listen to other music, but this music is blasting in your face. Please add a mute option so i can listen to other music like on a road trip because the music on a loop gets kind of annoying after a bit. Id be happy to change my rating to 5 stars if this gets changed! Thanks

Cute, addictive, simple to play, but hard to master. The only thing holding me back to give it a better rating is that you need to watch a 30 second ad to revive. The "Eraser" tape doesn't remove that, and that sucks! The ad for coins is understandable, but I would love to just pay for a "Extra Life" tape to be able to revive without an ad.

The game and character design is so cute and aesthetic. The gameplay is also quite entertaining with missions and obstacles. However, I just think the ads should be lessened down a bit

Devsisters, if you're hearing from me, fix the game. I tried using this game, however, when I booted it up, it did not work properly and instead flashed a black screen like every half second. It's also part of a weird file, so please fix this.

I love everything about this game. The art style is amazing, the costumes are cute and very well drawn. They dont even put ads at annoying times. This game got me through 100+ bus rides. I would recommend this game to anybody who breathes.

You jump from a box to another, simple game, easy to get new characters that are not all but mostly pretty cool in design. Kinda hard to master but if you don't try to break a record or something, this game is just the ultimate time killer which I think you would like a lot.

This is one of the cutest games I've ever played. The design is so well done and the attention to detail for each character is great. You can tell the developers put a lot of effort into this game! Additionally, it is really fun and addicting. I just want to keep playing to get more coins and unlock more characters (no real money needed to unlock most characters but they are available for purchase as well). Definitely recommend this for how cute it is and how fun it is!
