Tape Measure Calculator

I am a tailor. I use this often. Its easy to use and navigate. It would be cool if it had a "to the nearest 8th" option, but it's easy enough to do that by head so it's a non-issue.

Best app anyone can have for making divisions/calculations based on measurements on the fly at a job site. With that said, I wanted to bring something to the developer's attention. After downloading the app on my new phone (latest version), I noticed that the option to see the measuring tape after punching in a calculation is glitched? I have the "see tape measure" option enabled, but it won't show as it used to. I never update apps, so ive since reverted to the older version my old phone had

I'm a plumber and i use this app regularly to be sure of my fractional measurements. It's very straightforward and user friendly.

It does my numbers good. I like it . Update; It Does freeze up on a Samsung A32 but history is still there on restarting. Still good for what I use it for.

The app functions well and is relatively simple to use. It has helped me in several job sites and projects around the house.

Worked perfectly for banging out the maths of the dimensions of an apartment and placing furniture, and centering and hanging a TV. My only gripe is the lack of metric. Quickly adding X cm or mm to 7 3/8 without the conversation step first while having the answer able to be converted at will would be absolute heaven. Also some way of indicating if a decimal to fractional is a little long or a little short after rounding would be nice. But for what it currently does, Im satisfied.

So far do good. The only problem I've had so far is to try to add 3' 11.5" + 11" say. The program disregards the period and adds 115 insread of 11.5. Work around is to just add the 3' 11", then add .5 inches. Update: My bad, figured it out. works great! Updated to 5 stars.

Perfect for adding subtracting, & converting (to/from decimal/inch fractions). Really easy to use. Intro/demo quickly shows you how to use it. Not for more complicated construction things like stringer generation, slope/pitch, etc, but great for what it does.

So far I've used it for calculating the lengths of a ham radio antenna's elements. It is been easy to use, and the ability to switch between decimal and fraction format is highly useful.

Great app. Does what it says it does. i wish you could have inputted a distance and then have it calculate your center for say x amount of things you're hanging for that distance. i did it manually but that would be neat too.

Works great for working out quick multiple measurements and materials needed for the job.

Thought this app would be very helpful but really it's the opposite. If you type in A' amount IN FEET + B' amount IN FEET it will give you the answer of C" amount IN INCHES. Example: ( X' + X' = X"). Not what I want and I could not find any options to change it. Thanks alot for making an app that failed miserably, I'm embarrassed for you and hope you find a new hobbies because if this sort of app making continues then your a waste of life itself.

This app is really useful for people like myself doing handy work and have always had trouble adding and subtracting fractions. It's also easy to use.

Excellent app. Easy to use (as easy as entering fractions could be). Mixes US Customary, multipliers and decimals easily.

Works great I'm a stone fabricator and I split measurements everyday lay out and cut sink holes in stone conter tops it's a real life saver best app I have found to use I use this app more than anything else in my phone I would put money on it that u will think the same try it out and see I'll never stop using this app it really makes splitting measurements a walk on the beach with a beautiful woman at sun rise on a Sunday with a pocket full of condoms and a cooler full of winecolers try #1app!!

can't beat the fraction feature, use it at work quite a lot. decimal to fraction change is worth its weight in gold when using a tape.

The Tape Measure app is great. I've been using it for several months and find it to be ery user friendly and so far have not had any issues with it.

Just started using this app and it makes my life simpler. Any app that can do what it says, works, and is easy to use, is hard to come by. So far full stars = no complaints. Great app.

The last update made the fractions the same size as the whole numbers. It makes it a bit confusing.

As a professional finish carpenter I can honestly say that this app works, and quite simply. Very convenient. Keep up the good work!

Always used this app at work. Like almost everyday. It hasn't been working right so I found a different app. Hope you guys can get this one fixed.

I read a lot of measurements off plans in this app makes it a lot easier to get a total length on dimensions.

Terrific! I'm a contractor and used to use a construction calculator but would never have it when I needed it. Now with this app it is always with me. Very handy!

This app takes all the fun out of using your brain and a tape measure to add and subtract English units of length. The perfect app for today's poorly educated.
