How does this app record calls?

When you're on a call and you want to record it, open TapeACall and press the record button. We will put your call on hold and dial our recording line. As soon as our line answers use the merge calls button on your screen to create a single 3-way conference call between your other caller and our recording line.
If you want to record an outgoing call, just press the record button. The app will dial our recording line and will begin recording as soon as our line answers. Once that happens, place another call to the person you want to record, then press the merge calls button on your screen when they answer to create a single conference call that's recorded!

How do I know if I have conference calling on my phone?
Conference calling is available on almost every phone carrier around the world. Some carriers around the world may not enable this feature by default, but will enable it for your phone if you simply call their customer service and ask.

This app has some potential because you can call in with Google voice ,however the noise makes it worthless when you do . As far as using the app while speaker is on , it has the same ratio of feedback as any other app . ACR recorder and apps like it have no feedback when speaker is turned off so this apps claims are not true . And for $10.00 it's not worth it .
Love this app. Records perfectly most of the time, but sometimes it just drops unexpectedly. Also, I don't know if this is a temporary problem but the USA TN is currently out of service. Sent in trouble ticket and am awaiting reply.
This app stopped working months ago. I tried to cancel it before getting charged again, was having trouble since I am on an Android, contacted customer support, and I cannot get through to anyone and they won't reply! I just got charged $20 for no reason and I can't get a hold of the company. What the hell??
It does what it needs to. It records. It stores, sends copies if needed. I only wish it could start automatically but I think that's a android thing not the app. I am happy.
The first time I used this app it cut off my call 2 times over 1 hour. The second time I tried to use it I couldn't even begin the call, as the app cut off the call every time I tried to merge. Disaster.
TapeACall is an amazing way to record and store your calls and label them. Easy to use and allows you to share with others. I use for training and gathering information about my business. It is phenomenal tool for me and my team. Thank you developers for this app.
2 years ago the Pro version of this app was outstanding. Now I won't even download it again because of all the problems it has. It's sad to see a good app circle the drain..
This company is terrible. This app no longer works on my phone and i keep getting charged and there is no way to cancel!!! I've sent several emails and nothing. Avoid!!!!!!!!!
just used for first time. Played it back and it was complete, accurate and I was able to hear it clearly.
It used to work great I have the paid version but it has started making loud ringing noise if the call goes longer than 15 mins
Easy to install and use but you only get 60 seconds unless you upgrade for 9.99. In my case it's worth it!
Until recently I was satisfied, Now it either won't record or it wont load the taped call..Very disappoint at this point..Looking for another option!
Awful app and the support is almost as bad as the app. Can't get any support. So freaking frustrating!!
This app paid version is great, it's worked everytime when I needed it, easy to download to other programs

The app used to work great. I have the paid version & in Dec 2018 it just stopped working. When I try to record a call it hangs up all lines therefore disconnecting my original call as well. I have contacted support & it takes forever for replies with little to no help, telling me to do things I've already done and in essence blaming my phone carrier.... I've been using this app for almost 4 years. So very frustrating to pay for something I can't use!
