TapeCalc

So far so good. Convenient. Fast. No internet needed, as opposed to other apps. Only wanting is an option of "confirmation question" , while pressing "AC". Can it be provided optional so users can decide whether he-she wants a "confirmation" before deleting everything. Becoz after doing long multinumbered calculation and thus having lengthy calculated page, just one click on "AC" will delete everything by mistake..

Simple and straight to the point. If the text input field was auto-focused after we tap the comment (i.e. when the dialog opens), it would be a better UX. It would also be nice to long-tap any value to copy. Currently, after we add a totals row, we cannot copy the total.

The user interface is very good. Because of that I would give 6 stars. But I saw a clear miscalculation case, and it is only sometimes. That makes me hesitate to use this app. 3285÷26.12 was 130.4, a clear miscalculation. After this, I did the same number calculation again, but not any more I saw the same wrong answer. I can provide the screen captured image if the developer wants to see. I am also curious how such obvious error was made.

Very nice, but I got a warning when I run it that it was written for an older version of Android and needs to be updated. I'm running Android v10 and the app is dated 2017. Would like option to increase font size (for people with less than perfect vision!).

as first impression goes there is much to be said of the directness of 'click on object for edit' type interface. Ease of use is highly valued; that being said the "tape" itself is lacking with the actions available as: load_share_delete_delete all: where delete is irreversable and has no option for "confirmation dialogue" There, Likewise, is the abscence of any customization of the app whats-so-ever. all in all decent; with room to improve.

Lightweight and straight forward. Almost perfect. Maybe add an "Auto Decimal" feature(long press on [.] to change settings, [off/2places]). Then any number input has decimal added 2 places from the right.

Great, this one lacks any printing options but is the best I found so far. I paid for one and I uninstalled it. The reason very simple when using the -Tax function it shows the formula instead of the percentage used

If this program can save and retrieve past calculations, it would be great. It can send results to other programs which is great though.

Old retired and mostly broke, wish there was Tape Calc when I was in business! I have an older Texas Instruments TI-5048 paper free calculator that still works very well, but Tape Calc is far superior for me and it is with me all the time on my phone! Thank you very much for making this available. Roger

This is a really great program. I could not reproduce the error mentioned in another review. It also works fine in Android v10. EDIT - Still okay in Android 11 🎗

Excellent app,It shows a warning that it is for old version of android , But works well,I have been using this app for the last 4 years on multiple phones.

Great option for paper tape. Old school and I'm used to physical calculators with tape. Work removed those from the office. With this app it made it workable for me. Thanks!

Excellent app but please allow to edit or back option. if u did something wrong. u cant make continue, new calculation will come. u cant get total . please solve this issue.

Nice calculator. It even retains previous calculations, if you start a new operation from scratch (ex: 2+2), or can append the last calculation by just starting with the operator (ex: +3).

Great app, even for us Seniors! just like my TI Texas Instr. in hand machine, med sized, but this is so much handier, cell is usually @ hand, TI is across the room. Love It!😀🤩Such a time saver. no regrets getting it.

Excellent 'plain vanilla' papertape style calculator. Easy saving or sharing of virtual papertape. A familiar friend for an old school bookkeeper. Handy app for anyone handling or counting money.

This is so neat and unique. When I go grocery shopping, especially, the interest key function, per cent age helps.

help says can go back and edit number, but it seems total stays as if edit ever happened. I have got some bad answers

Easy & Seperate Pages for Calculations. Calcan be checked later like History I like very much & it too useful

The fact that I can always come back and get my previous records and share my information on other apps, this makes the app one of my favorites

I love this app because I can go back and look at the lists that I've created to check my entries.

Just like a calculator with the tape roll except this isn't on paper printed out, its on paper saved on your phone.
