Taper's Section

I love this app. It's definitely the best option for streaming shows. My only issues are as follows: - Can't unfavorite shows or bands! I've accidentally done this and I cannot figure out how to unfavorite. - there's no year choice! In order to get to 1965 dead shows I have to scroll through 30 years of concerts, it takes forever! Otherwise this app is perfect, so it gets a 4. If there are ways to solve these issues please let me know!

It's better than the archive app, but still glitchy at times. Any time I want to search something new, I have to force close the app and reopen it. Searches also take forever to pull up and even longer to scroll through if the results are long. Play/pause option also disappears occasionally if I lock my screen, forcing me to force close the app and reopen it again.

Very complete archive of many great bands- most shows even have multiple sources to choose from. The main downfall and the only reason it's short a ✭ is because unlike its predecessor, Vibe Vault, you are unable to actually download your favorite shows and store them off the Taper's Section app (either as files on your device or on an SD card). This is actually a huge step backwards in my book and they'd have gotten 3 ✭'s if not for their great archive.

Edit: Not sure what the point of offline downloading is. Downloaded a bunch of shows before camping. Need an internet connection to sign in. Didn't have one so offline shows were useless. Awesome amount of music and bands. Would be great to see Android Auto integration even if there's a nominal fee. And when you choose all shows by a band like Phish that has hundreds, it would be great so sort by most reviewed show. Otherwise, solid app!

A diamond in the rough. Every jam band imaginable with more shows than you can listen to in a lifetime. Not only can you stream the shows, there's an offline option where you can download shows to add to your stash. It's not a beautiful app visually, but the expansive content more than makes up for it.

I love this app--it has such a huge number of shows. However, I can't play songs using my Sonos speakers, which requires the songs to be downloaded to my Android device in the specific music folder. I can't seem to find WHERE the taper's section files are even being downloaded on the Android device. Can anyone help me with this?

This is an excellent archive of live music. It basically has the entire catalog of Grateful Dead and Phish live bootlegs. They also have listed a ton of other bands, most of which I've never heard of, but I suppose they all fall into that category of "jam band" music. Probably also because these are more bands that don't care about copyright issues. Otherwise it'd be nice to see bootleg performances of more well known bands like Zeppelin, The Stones, The Who, etc. Anyway, it's still a great app.

Great app with tons of bands and shows. The only problem I've had is with the offline show feature. I have the latest update which is described as "offline show bug fixes". But I still can't play shows I've downloaded

Awesome app! Makes streaming of thousands of artists super easy. You might able to and I just dont know how, but there should be a way to un-add artists from your favorites if you accidentally clicked add to faves. Other than that I've had no problems!

Doesn't play. And it still doesn't play after some help from Support. Their answer, after a few of the obvious things I had already done (e.g., check app permissions, force stop, reboot, etc.), was "never happened before"..."dont have an answer for that"..."you'll have to fiddle with it". Nope, not gonna fiddle. Gonna move on to an app that actually works. Update: tried multiple phones, wifi & logins, doesn't work. If support doesn't like your feedback they'll deactivate your account.

I like that you have a lot of artists available and not just Grateful Dead and Phish. I like the offline feature. The cast button doesn't show up for me even though it says you added it in the last update. Update: The cast button is there now with the latest update. Thanks!

Good app with room for more features... We need downloading for offline play and Android Auto integration. With Google music being discontinued, and YouTube music a terrible app and money grab, I'd happily pay for Android Auto integration alone.

App is good for listening. my only disappointment is when I create playlists. I am unable to view what show the song in the playlist is from. 5 out of 5 if I could do that.

THANK YOU for fixing the latest bug. Delightful improvement. This app has become my all time favorite for casual listening. The catalogue of jammin shows is insanely awesome. Thank u for doing what you do!

I'm a big fan of this app. I love being able to download and listen offline. However, I would love to see the addition of an "on this day" feature that would display shows from that day in history. Edit: Bumped up to 5 because what I wanted is already there!

Great app and good support when I had an issue with some files. You can download shows for offline use. Tons of shows and new files added pretty recently

Great app. I can find shows I've experienced. I try to play them on the current month and day. For example, today I've enjoyed listening to 4/4/91 & 4/4/95.

Love it, but now it's just frozen when I hit thr play button. Navigation is fine, just doesn't play when I press play.

This is a fantastic app with many groovy bands. Mostly here for anything Twiddle or Dead. Thank you so much for creating this. 💜💜💜

Great except for it saves shows but they are hidden so you can only play it with in the app and cant manage storage. That part needs improvement.

Fantastic app for fans of live music. It gets better with each update. Would love to see Android Auto support for listening in the car!

App works great. My favorite feature is it's ability to play seamlessly so segue's don't have those annoying droputs in between songs.

love that I can download the shows, but please make it so they can be downloaded to the phones sd card. Some phones have very little onboard storage. would be a 5 star rating if that was possible!

The library of bands and shows seems endless. I use it everyday. Best app for lovers of groovy live music.

absolutely love it! where do the downloaded shows get stored? can I store on my SD card? also would be great to see shows grouped by year so I dont have to scroll through 100's to get to specific years.

This app is awesome. I would love to know how to delete shows from favorites. Other than that, this is a wonderful walk down memory lane through the music I love

RANDOM SHOW FEATURE IS EPIC FOR 24.7 BISCUITS GREATNESS. BROTHERS PAST COLLECTION IS GOOD. SOUND QUALITY ISSUES ON MANY TRACKS. IM ON THIS APP FOR HOURS A WEEK. LOVE IT. THE PERMISSIONS REQUEST IS NOT NEEDED.
