Terrible experience using this app. It's the only option to skip the lines in my school and they certainly know it. I have some sort of issue at least one out of every three times I order for pickup. Often it's just that the restaurant hasn't gotten my order so I need to wait even longer than usual but missing or wrong items are also a frequent issue. At least they have nice customer service -- I guess the people there get lots of practice.

There are so many things that could improve the user experience. Two really important ones would be to 1)show the balance on our dining dollars in payments and 2)don't make me call and report an item that was paid for but they didn't have when I went to pick up. That's downright infuriating. I don't have any time to make that call bc I'm in classes!

While this app is convenient when in a hurry, some frustrating features make it not worth it to me. The promos never work(it gives some excuse like "promo expired" or "this offer is not available at your school" even though they're actively advertising for it) and you can't order from a restaurant that has a long line(which seems like the best time to use the app!).

It's okay. Lots of little bugs make the process hard sometimes. There's no feature to set a later time for an order, you always have to go immediately, sometimes certain items are available and sometimes they just disappear. But hey, it's better than standing in line for sure lol

App is OK but the experience leaves a lot to be desired. Often when the app notifies the order is ready they actually haven't even started, only when you show up do you find this out. Really defeats the WHOLE reason for using the app in the 1st place. Many vendors show 'busy' from 11:00AM-2:00PM so you can't place an order from them, again renders the app less than useful.

I wish this available at my college years ago. It made getting lunch so convenient. Pros: Online ordering for campus restaurants. Easy to use. Allows you to get your food so much faster. Orders get completed fairly quickly. Cons: Refunds. I only had this issue once when I ordered something only to find out that they couldn't fulfill it. The restaurant tried to refund me but couldn't. It could have been that they weren't used to the system yet. Other things: Restaurant choices are dictated by the university's catering services. Food selection and customization is also dictated by the restaurant you are ordering from. Your order being ready on arrival depends on the restaurant. All but one place I have ordered from completed my order within 5 minutes. The estimated wait time for them was at least 10 minutes. One restaurant was just horrible when dealing with tapingo orders. For both instances, my order was never worked on until I asked for it. One of those orders was incorrect. They got remove from the tapingo list.

The app was good when it first came out, but now there's a service fee of $0.60 for each meal that you still have to walk, wait, and then grab the food. It was good when there was no service fee but now it's not worth it anymore. You can't customize the order the same way of going in person. I treated the app like a drive through order ahead and get you food, but never have you seen places charge to use the drive through its just a bad idea for such a nich user bade the app supports.

Terrible communication between courier and customer. Their delivery courier delayed my order twice, for 2 hours, and gave me no notification. I had to call the restaurant and ask if I can drive there to get my order instead, which defeated the whole purpose of delivery. By the time we got there, the courier had finally picked up the food and left (once again, no notification) so we wasted more time. I'd rather use other services if this is the general pattern of communication.

I like the app because it allows me to get food since I don't have time to stand in line and wait to order while running between class and work. The only issue is that suddenly I am being charged a "pick up fee" to pick up my order. I have never had this before and it is kind of dumb seeing as I have to walk to pick up my food anyway.

The app is alright but the customer service is terrible. Ordered something a while back to my dorm, stood outside for almost an hour and the food never came. Contacted customer service and the rep was not useful. Said that the delivery driver went to the wrong side of the dorm and refused accountability. I was down like $30. I've only ever used it for pick up orders from then on because I can't trust their drivers. Hire better reps and drivers.

It lets me order okay, but there are several bugs and annoying features that make the app difficult to use, and customer service is completely useless; They seem to offer the same cookie cutter "we're sorry you had a problem with your order" response regardless of what you ask for help with.

Pretty nice to have, can order food and have it ready as I arrive, and it allows me to pay with my university meal plan so it saves me some money too. Occasionally acts kinda glitchy with what you can order (saying stuff is out of stock in 1 menu and letting you still order it in the next) but that might be the places im ordering from too creating some problems, so overall its pretty handy

App works most of the time, canel order button doesn't always work much to my disappointment. The times for pick up aren't accurate either and have caused me to wait 35 minutes for my food. Or not recieve it at all because the restaurant did not have the food available.

While the app works just fine for what it's for. I've had no end of problems with service. Deliveries being wrong, or just not coming at all. I just kept saying one more chance but I'm tired of waiting two hours and then not getting my food when I can order from other places and not be charged a $6 carrier fee and get it within the hour. Will not be ordering through Tapingo again.

Many many time, the app would tell me that there was an error processing my order, or that I had already used a meal swipe for the dining period, when in fact I hadn't, and I could go to the shop and swipe my card just fine. On top of that, when my tapingo order was cancelled, the app took that as a meal swipe for the meal period, and I was unable to order anything else for the meal period. Extremely frustrating and inconvenient.

Tried to setup my account and I got stuck in an infinite loop of entering my credit card, then getting sent back to the "choose class" screen, then re-entering my credit card. Went through this loop about 3 times before giving up and uninstalling. Even trying to use a back button wouldn't take me back to a home screen to see if my credit card information took.

Very nice app, good at what it does. The only problem I've had with it is sometimes it won't list near by food places. No matter how much time i give it, it just loads indefinitely. Luckily that happens infrequently, and its still a great app nonetheless.

this app sounded great to me my roommate recommended it and i downloaded it. I open it up to fill this get started info out and for about 30 to 40 minutes it will not allow me to log in with my id. I tried scanning my card and that didn't work either. so i stopped using it. shame it sounded really good to use.

This app used to work fine, now all of the sudden I can't login without getting an error saying to check my network connection. I know wifi/data isn't the problem so I haven't been able to log into the app for months.

The estimated delivery time is NEVER accurate. Almost every time my order is pushed back 20-40 minutes ON TOP OF AN HOUR WAIT TIME TO BEGIN WITH. Used to have a chat section but I see that's no longer available. Tried to contact customer service AND the courier this time, but no response. I recommend Doordash or UberEats instead. I will be deleting the app.

This app is great, but only in select areas. It would be nice to select an area to find what you can buy there without allowing the app to force direct you to only what is around you. I wish I could order food for someone else while I am still far away.

good for fast orders, but the app needs work. There are description of the item on menus but I can't get the full description cause when I click the item hoping for a read more, it goes straight to the ordering options.. especially the Starbucks drinks I can't get the full description

When vendors don't have the items for your order, they will cancel your order and you'll get a notification ensuring that you haven't been charged. On every occasion this has happended to me, I have been charged. Then they tell you you'll be reimbursed in the next week, but when you're a starving college student this just doesn't cut it.

Frequently takes your money, and refunds take days.They aren't bound by their terms of service to give you a refund. I'm at college, and have already paid over $2000 for a meal plan. When I use Tapingo, it constantly cancels my order, uses my meal credit, then takes two to three days to refund it, but I still can't get food during that meal period. Their customer service is awful, and they show no interest in correcting any of their problems. I only use Tapingo because there's no other option.

it is so nice to be able to place my order and pay in advance. definitely makes taking care of myself fit easier in my life. I would love the ability to specify less pumps on built in specialty drinks. besides that it's a huge time saver

This app has become more expensive since I began to use it. I had a delivery issue that happened twice, I contacted the company and have not heard back from them. If something is wrong, you probably won't hear from them. I had to wait at least 2 hours before I got my food, so don't have anything planned, and don't be extremely hungry when ordering from them.

The app conatantly glitches. I have never been able to use the app becausenof how often it glitches. Also, on the customer service side I have taken myself off the email list 3 times and I am still receiving the promo emails.

Worst app ever. I keep having problems with it all the time. Sometimes the menu just disappears, I can't change the payment method, and so many other issues. Please don't reply to this comment. I'm tired of you guys emailing me and asking about what I'm experiencing. I don't have time for this app.
